About this house rental

Isn't the saying “A picture is worth 1000 words” This home is perfectly suited for multiple couples and multiple families to enjoy the Tahoe area. Imagine the fun of skiing, rafting, water skiing, hiking, shopping, cooking, entertaining, chilling and having fun with your friends and family. There is nothing like spending time in Tahoe. We call it “TAHOE TIME”. The Memories: Playing horseshoes off the deck. Taking the shuttle to the private beach and pool with the kids, walking to the tennis courts, playing liars dice at the bar on Chamberland's pier, climbing Eagle Rock, water skiing with the kids, hiking down the Emerald Bay waterfall, visiting the VIkingshon Tea House, rafting down the Truckee River and having burgers and fries at River Ranch, cocktails on the deck and talking to passersby, skiing at Squaw Valley and Homewood. Too many more to mention here. Every year was a new adventure. You can enjoy and share these adventures. The old cabin is gone but the new Chamberlands Tahoe Blue house is available to make memories. More memories to make with the jeep trails on the Rubicon Trail. The House: Brand new construction completed in December, 2021. This is a sunny home with oversized attached garage and wrap around decks. Located minutes from Homewood Ski Resort and the Lake. There is access to nearby Chambers Landing with restaurant, private beach, tennis courts and swimming pool. Convenient neighborhood transportation to the lake is provided during the summer months. The décor of this home is equipped with blue accents and new furniture. Kitchen includes quartz countertops, trash compactor, dishwasher, garbage disposal and microwave. The laundry room includes a new washer/dryer, cabinetry and utility sink. This home also has solar shades throughout, a gas fireplace, wireless internet and two wall mounted 65 inch TV's, one in the living room and the other in the upstairs loft. On the main floor is the master bedroom with king size bed, a private bathroom with lighted mirrors and a large shower. There is also convenient access to a walk out patio deck. There is a second bedroom with a queen size platform storage bed and private access to a guest bathroom with walk in shower. The upstairs floor has vaulted ceilings and a third bedroom with queen size platform storage bed, a bathroom with tub and lighted mirrors. There is also a loft with two twin over full bunkbeds and a full size 1980's style arcade game that includes Ms. Pacman and Galactica. The use of the public beach does not require a membership card. This Chamberlands home rents with a Sunday to Sunday arrival-departure only from July 7th to August 26th. Only Sunday to Sunday patterns will be confirmed during this time frame. PLEASE NOTE: This home may be equipped with outdoor surveillance cameras and electric bear fencing that are utilized for security and bear activity in the area. These cameras in no way infringe upon guests' privacy, and monitor exterior portions of the home exclusively. Decks and BBQ grills may NOT be available during winter months, exterior areas may be icy. This home is not equipped with AC. Per Placer County Short term rental laws, quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am, and no street parking is permitted at any time, including boats and trailers. We recommend purchasing 3rd party trip insurance if you have concerns about canceling your reservation. Wells & Bennett Realtors requires $500 of your reservation total due upon booking and the remainder due sixty days prior to check-in. Membership card required for access to private beach - No Exceptions. The use of the public beach does not require a membership card. Pool opens June 17th Cancellation Policy / Cancellation fee: If cancellation is made more than 60 days of arrival, a cancellation fee of $100 plus the 4% booking fee will be applied. If the cancellation is made within 60 (or less) days of arrival, the entire rent will be retained unless Wells and Bennett Realtors is able to re-rent the specified property. If the property is re-rented, a cancellation fee of $100 plus the 4% booking fee will still apply, but the remainder of rent will be refunded after the replacement guests have checked out. Holiday Booking Policy: CHRISTMAS - Check-In must be by December 20th, 21st, or 22nd. There is a 5 to 7 night minimum stay required. (Must check out by December 28th at latest, to allow 7 days for a New Years Reservation.) **No Check-Ins or Check-Outs on December 24th, or 25th NEW YEARS - Check-In must be on December 27, 28, or 29. There is a 7 night minimum stay required. **No Check-Ins or Check-Outs on December 31st or January 1st

I really like the access to the private beach, tenis court, really nice cabin with laundry room that my wife loved, nice deck and spacious loft, definitely I'm going back again

The Wells & Bennett staff were wonderful; however, the house was too small (as we expected) but the kitchen really does need to be remodeled.

This house is in a great location and has a wonderful deck to relax on and BBQ as long as the rental agency has addressed the yellow jacket nuisance which prevented any food outdoors, the living space is nice and comfortable, it does need some upgrades, the kitchen is small with little counter space, the stove is electric, old and small. The main bathroom is roomy and updated, the half bath in the only bedroom is tiny, airplane size and is only about 1 foot away from the end of the bed. If you have kids, there is a loft with 3-4 beds accessible by wooden set of stairs, not recommended for children under 5 as it is narrow. With all of the issues, it is in a wonderful location and comes with the Chambers Landing all access pass, an excellent summer amenity.
