Beautiful neighbourhood, lovely resort!

Key pick up was effortless, the employee that greated us was friendly and professional. Questions we asked were answered cheerfully. The unit's proximity to the beach and pool were excellent. The neighbourhood was gorgeous. The street was quiet from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. so falling asleep was easy. The living room and dining areas were comfortable and modern. The balcony off the living room was a delightful place to sit and relax, fairly private too. We enjoyed our morning coffee and meals out there. We would absolutely return to this resort (we would just pick a different unit). As soon as we arrived we reported that the toilet needed fixing and it was repaired promptly. Checkout was easy.

The unit itself could've been cleaner and better maintained. It is dated, which we expected and is usually ok, however some simple, regular maintenance tasks need to be addressed. For example, upon arrival it was clear the toilet was still running from whenever it was last flushed. We reported the toilet issue right away as the noise was a distraction, plus it would add cost to the owner and the environment to have water running all the time (it was fixed promptly). The bedroom closet door was partially off the track. The laundry closet was so full of stuff, that things (ie: fireplace tools, boxes) had to be moved in order to do a load, the caulking around the bathtub needs re-doing, the drywall paper in the bathroom was peeling, there was food spillage on the side of the fridge (it needed a good scrub), the bed pillows need replacing, the sliding door to the balcony needs lubricating, a couple of the balcony chairs were cracked (making them lean back further than normal) etc. It surprised us that the toilet issue, and the other minor repairs and tidy up items listed, were not noticed by the cleaning crew and fixed up pro-actively. As a side note (not anything the home owner or rental agency can control) is that there is a dumptster by this unit that people seem to start using about 5 a.m. so we never slept late. Great if you want to get up and out learly LOL

We had a wonderful trip. Definitely would stay again. Hope to be able to get this unit every year for our vacation.

The property was very quite and 50 yards from the beach. Very beautiful place

It could use some updating but nothing that would cause us not to stay there again.

Exceptional

The villa was adorable and the view from the back deck was great and peaceful.

The King bed was a little noisy and gsts staying in unit above were very loud but that's it!

We will be back to the area

We enjoyed the fact that it was conveniently close to the beach. We also felt safe, because it was in a gated resort.

A few of plugs didn’t work, the bed had dips in it, we had no way of using the door off the steps because there was no way to look the dead bolt, and we arrived thinking we had a covered parking spot because that’s how it was portrayed, but only Units C and D had one. Bathroom was fairly dated and needs to be refurbished.

The town that it’s located in - Isle of Palms. Overall unit generally clean

No ocean front view; Outdated fixtures and furnishings; patio dirty; outdoor furniture dirty; lights burned out; outlet covers broken; cell phone reception very poor; mattress stuck behind sofa; we expected more for the price.

Enjoyable time but should have read the reviews before booking so that expectations were tempered.

The location was good, as I was there for a wedding on the resort and it was only about a quarter mile away. It was very easy to find and easy to get into using the key code. The area was very peaceful and mostly private.

The unit we stayed in was pretty outdated. We had rain days where we stayed in the unit and the TV and cable were both sub par. The bathroom vanity was the lowest that I've ever seen in a bathroom and it seemed like a renovations could go a long way. Also, time for a new bed...

I only hope that the Vacasas representative refunds our total amount as promised on the phone.

You don't want to hear how horrible and unsafe this (A) is. We are getting a full refund, supposedly.

A little getaway

Very nice location! Close to the beach and pool. The landscape is beautiful . Very peaceful this time of year.

There was a small stain on the carpet in the living area. And the receptical next to the bed needs work. The side next to the window. If you plug in something, it will not stay, falls out. Otherwise, very clean and comfy!
