Perfect family vacation spot and hikers haven. Located in the heart of the small village of Lion's Head, one row back from the sandy beach and Bruce Trail's Niagara Escarpment. Trails End Beach House features an open concept living/dining room. Two comfortable couches with a 32" smart tv and wifi for lounging on rainy days and staying connected when you're not outside enjoying the many fun things to do on the Bruce Peninsula. Kitchen is equipped with fridge, stove, kettle, toaster and microwave. A 4-piece bathroom with shower/tub combination, perfect for bathing children. One bedroom has a queen bed, and one bedroom has a single bunk bed. The third bedroom has a double bed and is available upon request. Deck is 330 square feet with BBQ and patio set. In the evenings, enjoy roasting marshmallows on the campfire in the backyard and gazing up at the star filled sky. Lion's Head is well known for it's dark skies. Live music can be heard every Friday night at the Harbourside Stage. Farmers Market is every Saturday morning. Fun playground on sandy beach only 75 meters or about a 1 minute walk away. Lion's Head Beach is perfect for building sand castles and swimming in the crystal clean waters of Georgian Bay. Stroll along a path from the beach to a picturesque lighthouse and rock beach. Your children will love exploring for fossils and throwing rocks into the water. The famous Bruce Trail lookout of Lion's head is about a 2 hour hike from our door. Don't forget the camera! Weekly bookings only in July and August which run from Sunday to Sunday. Minimum 3 night rentals in the off season (May, June, September and October).
