About this house rental
Located in Lake Havasu City, this lovely house for $355 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Please note bed count: 3 new Kings, bunk twins in 2nd King bedroom Private 3rd King bedroom on other side of home and 3 twins in kids room. Total sleeping = 11. 'Casa Palmillas' one of the original early Lake Havasu estates in the fancy 'residential estates' neighborhood Wood Lane of south Lake Havasu City. The home sits on nearly a 1/2 acre of quiet huge palm trees and gardens, surrounding a large newer pool with diving board and separate spa. Close to shopping and the lake, with plenty of parking, the home sleeps 11 without crowding. 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths. $388 to $588 a day... maybe available for holiday weekends....no wild child...girls gone wild frat parties...please...families.... $198/minimum cleaning fee required. No 'clean it myself' option...it just doesn't work...sorry...Normal rates $433 - $588 a day; 3 day minimum. Worth every penny, gets all booked up, check motel summer rates.....Summer holidays, 4 day minimum. Cheaper than hotels and much much nicer. Note bed count: 1 King Master with private bath, tub and shower; 1 King private bedroom and bath; 2 more connected bedrooms with bath and 3 twins and a double bunk so 5 twins; mats there for small kids carpet camping...but 10-11adults.

The interior of the house is quite dated and could use some TLC and attention. The owner was quick to reply to numerous problems that arose. There were major inconveniences with air conditioning not working and leaking pipe that caused a carpeted bedroom to flood -- these problems were addressed by the owner, but we still had numerous days with fans/blowers and musty smell. I had hoped the owner would offer partial refund for such major inconveniences.
The outside of this home is a wonderful place to entertain and enjoy the pool and beautiful surroundings and that was a plus. The interior proved to be a minus, so I would have to rate the overall experience as average.

Over the course of 3 months that we were there we had a few maintains issues which caused some inconveniences. As any home owner knows there will always be unforeseen problems All of the issues we experienced were resolved in a timely fashion. Father's Day Getaway
Joe the owner of this property was absolutely amazing! Was on the phone with my husband at check in explaining where everything was and any information we needed. We had such a phenomenal family getaway for Father's Day weekend. Everyone enjoyed the pool and hot tub. House was big enough for our large family to have plenty of space. Joe and this property...Our favorite in all of Havasu
Joe, the owner and this property are unbelievable. The overall value of this mini Las Vegas resort is awesome...the backyard is amazing, the pool is huge, the separation of the rooms and the floor plan are laid out perfectly for a large family.
Joe is hands down the most awesome VRBO property owner in all of Havasu...we are a family of five and our four day vacation was almost ruined after another property we had rented got broken into forcing the owner to cancel our stay last minute....Joe, in the 11th hour came through for us BIG TIME...He made his property available for us on a whim and saved our vacation. We make several 3-4 day runs to Havasu every summer and we will do everything possible to stay at this property each and every time. THANKS AGAIN JOE!

It was the perfect house for our family reunion.
This house was in a great neighborhood. Close to the Grocery Store and restaurants. It was an easy drive to get to Lake Havasu State park.
We enjoyed the pool and the spa. The house is older and has a few quirks but it is clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

This house is awesome! Very clean home! We spent the entire time in the backyard. The backyard is everything you want when it comes to a Vacation Rental! Huge pool, grill, outdoor furniture, etc.

Lacks cleanliness and organization
Joe is a nice guy. We agree with other reviews, he's attentive and accommodating.
However, two major issues with the home:
1) The cleanliness was well below average. To remedy this issue, Joe hired cleaners to get the home to a state that was tolerable. The cleaners were apathetic.
2) The home sleeps 9 in beds, not 12 like the listing states. Had to dig through multiple closets to find enough bedding and our guests had to sleep on the floor.
The pool and backyard was the redeeming feature for our stay.

This is our 6 time staying at this beautiful home. The area is safe and very relaxing by the pool and the jacuzzi. The house is spotless clean and the owner is very attentive to our needs. I would recommend this home to anyone.

Everything you want and need in a Vacation Rental
My family really enjoyed our stay at Joe's house. His communication prior to check was great. The house was super clean and inviting when we entered the house for the 1st time. My wife had to clean up some spilled water on the carpet and was amazed that when she cleaned it up not a spot of dirt showed up on the paper towel.
The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The bedrooms were great with plenty of TV's throughout the house. The big hit with everyone was the spacious backyard and the pool with diving board.
The location is great as we were just a few miles from the London Bridge and surrounding store's and restaurant's. The neighborhood was very clean and quiet.
I would highly recommend this rental to anyone and we look forward to staying at Joe's house on our next trip to Havasu.
