The view from the balcony and windows of the bay hits you when you walk into this condo, wow. Then when the tide goes out, there is an entirely different view to take in. Many dark purple starfish among the rocks and occasional dark pink ones too.
The condo was very comfortable, well stocked and clean.
We would recommend this condo.

Beautiful place with a spectacular view. We just wanted a place to unwind and relax and this was spot on. Although there were opportunities for hiking, kayaking, bungee jumping etc, I was perfectly content with a cup of coffee or wine on the chaise with a good book. Hubby watched football and we’d take a dip in the hot tub after dinner. Short walks on the beach and beautiful sunsets. What more could we ask for. Hope to return soon.

The condo was very nice, comfortable beds, well outfitted with kitchen utensils, and the view is spectacular. The location directly above the pool and hot tub can be a bit noisy at times, but it quieted down at night.

Beautiful condo, incredible view, ideal location, pool, hot tub. Very well decorated. everything you need in a kitchen, welcome bottle of nice wine. Comfortable beds, very clean, nice tennis court. Saw some whale, seals, eagles. Went kayaking. Everyone wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you Scott and Patricia. Will tell all my friends about your place.

The condo was beautifully situated with a panoramic view of the beach and ocean. The condo itself was just as described on the website and had everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable which was a huge plus! Since the weather was on the cooler side we made good use of the hot tub but not the pool. Cell phone reception was minimal but internet worked well. Beautiful property and would highly recommend!

What a great find. Beautiful spot and the condo is the best one on the property in my opinion. The corner unit offers a fabulous panoramic view, it's breathtaking. The beds were incredibly comfortable and having 2 king beds and 2 bathrooms was a plus. Owners were great and the ease of check in and check out was appreciated.
I would happily rent again from Scott and Patricia.

This unobstructed ocean-view condo in Emerald Bay at Yellow Point never fails to deliver on awesomeness! This the ONLY vacation property we have returned to. It is a corner unit so you have a clear view of the bay and ocean. The bay provides you with frolicking seals and hunting fish eagles. The ocean was dotted with three anchored tankers and the occasional fishing boat passing by. There is a wonderful hot-tub to soak in or a crystal clear swimming pool facing the ocean. Two communal BBQ'S, laundromat and tennis courts are available for use. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at an English-style pub, the Crow and Gate. This vacation property and the Crow & Gate will keep bringing us back!

This property was exactly as great as it looked in the listing - with amazing views, was really clean, and was close to everything we wanted to do. The condo had an amazing view of the beach, and felt private even while it was close to all amenities. We were able to enjoy the views all day - I would say the condo had the best view of any in the complex!
The condo was in a perfect location for using the pool and has a great view of the pool, but it still felt really private and quiet throughout the day. The condo was very clean and comfortable, and there were lots of towels and bedding, and a nice supply of games, movies, etc. This place was really accommodating for different types of guests, as both our senior parents and young children were very comfortable staying there.
The hosts provided a lot of great extra information about the area, which was great in helping us find local spots to enjoy. Also a lovely bottle of wine! We have dinner at the Mahle House restaurant they recommended (less than 10 mins away) and it was truly fantastic!
We found that the location was good, as it was far enough out of the city to be quiet and private, but with lots of stores only 20 minutes away. Parking was plentiful and easy.
In addition to the pool and beaches, our kids loved seeing marine life from the dock, and the playground. All the neighbors we met were very friendly, and the complex was consistently quiet and impeccably clean.

Fantastic stay- The location to explore the island is excellent and the property itself was beautiful! Contact with the owner was immediate and any issues ( all small) were dealt with immediately. We hope to return to the island again and this would be our number one choice to stay!

The location was fantastic and overall experience was good. Breathtaking views right from the suite. The hot tub was unfortunately not hot and we were not able to enjoy this feature. The dock was also not there, I guess it is a seasonal thing but it didn't affect our stay much.
The suite itself had some bugs and ants which is understandable as it is near the wilderness, but when we entered the suite there were a lot of flies inside, I think the windows and doors were left open to air out the suite before we got there.
Overall the stay was good and would recommend to others.

Scott's property is in a beautiful location for relaxation. Stunning sunrises, wonderful views from the unit. The property itself is nicely appointed...great furnishings, comfortable beds. It is remote however, with no good choice for dining close by. If you're exploring the south west coast this is a wonderful place to relax after a busy day. Or if you want to stay put and take advantage a kitchen with a view this is the place.

This is going to be a long post but worth your time and read. I only really correspondend with Scott and he was absolutely amazing with his prompt response and answers.
From the minute we arrived to the final goodbye was worth every penny and what Scott didn't know was that my husband lost his job during covid-19 so I had been saving up for this family vacation for 2 1/2 year's. Although it was expensive the experience was absolutely worth every penny. Scott was so kind and gave us all the information required prior to check in. Upon arriving we realized that the microwave was still not working. I messaged him after trying to make it work the first night and day. There are some things you cannot microwave. Honestly it was just annoying and I thought it would have been resolved by the time we arrived. I messaged Scott and was expecting to receive a number of excuses why it was not fixed. Instead he offered to bring us a microwave that evening. I am not sure if he works full-time or has other responsibilities but this owner went above and beyond to deliver us a brand new microwave that evening! This condo was outfitted with all the utensils and pot's and pan's plus more. I cannot recommend this condo more than the 5 stars that it allows. Honestly, I have had only negative experiences with VRBO in the past and Scott and his wife have redeemed my belief and I almost regret giving such an amazing review because I will likely have a hard time booking this condo for the future. What owner will drive out a brand new microwave within 24 hours of complaint. If I could give Scott 10 stars I would. We even had a misunderstanding and he immediately apologized and took responsibility for his error. The location, the condo, the amenities are worth every penny. Thank you Scott for allowing me, my boy's and baby dogo to enjoy your space for the week. Wishing you and Patricia only but the best. I hope my review blesses you with non stop bookings but please don't forget me for the future!

Other than that, I can highly recommend the property and especially the beautiful setting. Our highlights were biking to the Crow & Gate pub, the Harbour Tour at the Ladysmith Marina with lunch at the Oyster Cafe, the Cedar Farmers' Market, kayaking past Yellow Point and off Transfer Beach and the Old Town Bakery in Ladysmith. A great way to end the summer.

The condo was impressive. The view, location, and convenience were fantastic. The condo was equipped with everything we needed to make it a great stay. Our family enjoyed the deck in particular with its comfortable chairs. There are many great walking trails within driving distance of the site. We had hot weather when we were there and were pleasantly surprised by the fact that the bay right next door was swimmable. I would definitely recommend this condo.
We did have some hiccups with emails from the owner ending up in junk mail and a bit of a problem getting the entry code. Cell phones didn't have good reception so ensure you have the code too enter the condo before you arrive.

Ocean Getaway
The property is as stunning as advertised. The sun rise in the morning is stunning and enjoying coffee on the deck is the best way to start a day. The Inn amenities allow for a fun and relaxing trip with everything you need right there. Fully recommend for a range of getaways. Friends, family or weekend to yourself.
