About this house rental

Situated in Westport, this lovely house for $145 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Minimum 4-night stays over the summer holiday and spring break (unless you are filling a smaller gap). 2 nights Minimum for other dates. Bring the family and enjoy our Sandy Toes Cottage. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. In 2007 our family went suddenly from two kids to four. We are a busy family and found that by the time we got done packing we were already worn out and we hadn't even been anywhere yet! So, we have furnished it with convenience for families in mind. The kids' room has two bunk beds and sleeps 4. There is a queen bed in the master bedroom, with a memory foam mattress. There are plenty of linens, so you don’t need to pack extra blankets. Westport is a fishing and ship building community that is quickly developing a reputation for great recreation as well. The beach is not at all crowded and sometimes even deserted if you get lucky. We have provided beach toys and chairs to share (because we were tired of packing them too!!!) We have provided things like a highchair and bed rail for the littlest visitors. We have a fully equipped kitchen including some extras like a bread machine and rice cooker. After a day at the beach the kids can play with all the toys, read a book or watch a movie while mom or dad makes dinner or takes in a movie as well. The town of Westport has go karts, fun shops with nick knacks, fudge and saltwater taffy, a fleet of charter boats ready to take you fishing or whale watching, and a historic lighthouse. All of this can be reached by biking or hiking down the paved dune trail just down the street from Sandy Toes. Keywords: Beach House, Hot Tub, Ocean

We selected SandyToes in Westport for our week stay on the Pacific coast for its perfect location, being very toddler friendly with toys, bikes and buckets and our vacation would not be the same with out the big welcome of our beach loving furbaby. The cottage is a short walk down to the beach where we chased our grandkids and our heeler chased the waves. We built sandcastles, collected rocks and shells and flew our kites. Then back to soak dem bones in the hot tub and long lazy naps. Breakfast lunch and dinner were also a family affair and easy with the well stocked kitchen. Big highlights were Santa’s reindeer wandering the neighbourhood, the very allusive bunnies and hearing the crashing waves and fog horn in the distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Sandy Toes is a great family getaway beach cabin! Only a short walk to the beach and about a 10 minute drive to town. Super comfortable and very well stocked!

Unfortunately .... the cottage had not been cleaned ,,, so it was a several hours later we got access ..... but we were compensated Thanks I would suggest having the frig light fixed and more importantly the rail gard on the top door ... shelf .... items fell out when the door was opened ..... on time it was a glass bottle ... and we were left with glass on the floor ... and bare toes... other than that we did enjoy ourselves and will recall the ... most memorable times ,,,,, Anita Mc

Overall it was good. Lots of dog hair everywhere which was kind of upsetting. No vacuum to clean the rugs off. Good location.

This was our best stay at Westport. We come here a few times a year. The house was perfect for a family with kids and a dog. I didn’t have to worry about them breaking anything and they were happy to have toys and books to play with that were already there by the owner. The bunk beds were fun and the hot tub was the highlight. There is a playground with bball hoops just steps away! Location was perfect for us! The beach access is about 10 minutes away. Overall, it was a really fun time.

Property was as described, comfortable for family with kids and a dog. It could use a little upgrades but we were able to walk to the beach and there was a park nearby. It was close to a grocery store and many hiking trails. The hot tub was relaxing after a long day on the beach.

An old couple looking for a quiet getaway in a coastal town in winter, found it. At 35 degrees on a calm moonlit night, the mist rolls off the hot tub, and the world becomes quietly magical. So magical, we were almost expecting fairies. Then there's the shops, restaurants, hikes, and wildlife.

Rented for 3 nights! Cozy house has everything you need! Beds are super comfortable, and the kitchen is fully equipped! We had a great time walking to beach! The owners have outfitted a shed for all your outdoor activities! We took the beach chairs down to the ocean, and my husband used one of the kites! So fun! We’re looking forward to our next trip to Westport!!

Simple cabin with everything you need. Neighborhood is nice, enjoyed the cleanliness of beds and couches. The hot tub was clean and hot. Kitchen utensil well stocked and washer and dryer was amazing to have with a family and dogs. I kept it running all weekend! Beds were adequate but not super comfortable. Some simple instructions for using the dvd would be a nice addition. Don’t rely on the bikes, we looked for some tools to fix them a little and just couldn’t seem to find the right one. We did a lot of laundry to help the housekeeper, which is expected in the house rules- Like I said I enjoyed the washer, lol. Overall a great value in Westport, I would stay again.

This cute little cottage is in a very quiet and lovely neighborhood the town itself there's really not a whole lot going on we thought that there would be more touristy spots down closer to the water but it's just all about fishing there and you can't even get crab , the hot tub was amazing and that made the trip all worthwhile,
