This property was really perfect for our family! Cozy but not too small, and having the cable TV option was great to keep the kids entertained while we packed up for the beach! This condo is in great location, quiet, and private. Their beach carts were a life saver! We would definitely stay here again :)

The condo was very clean and well equipped, as well as being very conveniently located. Communication with the hosts was easy and they were very responsive. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and cookware, making it easy for us to prepare meals. Beds were reasonably comfortable, but the king mattress in the master bedroom may need to be replaced before too long as the support is best in the middle. Overall, we would highly recommend Chuck and Amy’s condo.

Well appointed codon, best location for easy access to Ogunquit, Kennebunkport, Portland and more! Owners very responsive to inquiries. Great beaches right here! Condo comes with beach chairs and buggy, along with bikes and grill. Great value and a great part of Maine to visit.

Modern, clean, and well-equipped 2BR/1BA condo in Wells that works great for a family of four. Owners were responsive to a small issue at check-in that was easily resolved. Walking distance to Congdon’s and food trucks is a plus, and easy access to Wells Beach. Overall, a great spot for a week at the beach!

Well decorated and well equipped condo provides great base for exploring area. Really appreciated the bikes, beach chairs, and board games. Kids loved the heated salt water pool.

The apartment was clean and practical for a week's stay. The kitchen was well-equipped and the beds very comfortable. While it is technically within walking distance of the beach, the beach is a mile distant - not an issue for older kids and active adults but could be more of a challenge for younger children and less active adults.

Nice quiet area, with great access to many points in Maine. My kids love the clubhouse and pool that are available at this site as well. Communication with the owner regarding the property was easy and quick. Highly recommend!

This was our first time in this specific unit, but our second time staying in the condo complex. It's a very nice location--close enough to walk the mile or so to the beach and back and then hit the pool. The unit was great and had everything we need. The neighbors upstairs were very nice and welcoming. Will be back next year

It is a nice place to stay in Wells. All the comfort you want. A beautiful swimming pool and the beach is near with a public free parking. We loved it.

The cottage was so cozy and well equip with all the necessary amenities to enjoy a carefree vacation and still having all those home extras. Well decorated and spacious for my husband and myself. It was close proximity to everything you need, nearby supermarket, farmers market, and fish store. It was just a 20 minute walk to the beach, and the owner had everything you would need to enjoy your stay at the beach. Chuck, the owner was most gracious and stayed in touch with us during our stay addressing any of our needs and concerns. I would highly recommend this cottage as it is ideally located if you want to explore York, Ogunquit and Kennybunkport. We would love to have the opportunity to return again.

Five stars!! My stay was awesome. This condo is set back in a serene wooded area away from noise, but at the same time close enough to shop within minutes. The unit was very clean and modern. There is a nice big deck that gets a refreshing ocean breeze. I will definitely stay here again if the opportunity should present itself! The owners were very accommodating and responded immediately when contacted. I would recommend this as a top place to stay in Wells. I have stayed in other places and have to say this condo is by far superior to the others.

This is a beautiful place to stay. Very nicely appointed. Everything was new in the condo. The beds and pillows were comfortable. We frequently rent condos and supplies are usually bare minimum if any. Not so here. Condo is well-stocked with all supplies. Also, this condo is one of the best in the area because it is set back in a quiet location with none of the road noise you usually get near route 1. Owners allow access to bikes in garage which makes a short and easy ride to the beach - saving $20 daily parking fee which can add up over a week. Also sometimes parking lots near beach are full. Owner stayed in contact and provided us with all of the information needed. Even contacted us to let us know we could get in early. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this!

We've stayed at a lot of condos and cottages in this area...but none have been as new and clean as this! It was so nice to have good lighting, new appliances and furniture. Everything was so clean and bright, and it made the stay very enjoyable. I'll be trying to stay here again in the future!

We rented this condo with our two teenage daughters. There was easily enough space for the 4 of us without us having to use the sofabed in the living area. The accommodations were exactly as described. The condo is in a quiet area of Barefoot Cottages, and there was no excessive noise from the tenants above. The unit itself is extremely well equipped with lots of extras that you often don't get, including cleaning supplies, lots of towels, etc. There are many channels to choose from on the television. The unit is extremely clean and comfortable. The owner, Chuck, was excellent to deal with, and responded immediately to any questions or requests we had. It was a very short walk to the pool, which is also very clean and well equipped with lots of chairs. It was also nice to have a garage to park our vehicle in. We walked to Wells Beach a couple of times, which is approximately a 20 minute walk. We also took the trolley, which is only $1 per person for anyone over 18 yrs, and free for anyone under 18. We would not hesitate to rent from Chuck again.

We had stayed at Barefoot Cottages before, in a different unit, so we knew and liked the area. The condo was clean, well-furnished and well-supplied, and in a quiet part of the complex. The owners were easy to work with, responsive, and pleasant. All systems worked well; we used the AC a couple of days. I would not recommend this unit for people with small children, because there is no bathtub and the bathroom sink is very high. It is fine for anyone else who doesn't mind climbing a flight of stairs. Kids love the condo complex's pool and indoor recreation areas. There are many restaurants, shops, and activities (beach, mini-golf, movies, trails, etc.) close by. All in all, a nice place to spend a vacation!

I was extremely pleased with my stay here. The condo is in a great location, close to the beach, restaurants and quaint shopping spots. Amy and Chuck took every measure to make sure that my stay was relaxing and comfortable. The condo is very clean and very nicely decorated. They paid attention to small details that set this home above others. They were readily accessible and eager to make sure my stay was one not to forget. I will definitely be back!

My fiancé and I were just looking to get away for a little bit and this property was perfect. Close enough to everywhere you'd like to be in Wells (beach, restaurants, bars) with great amenities right on site like a firepit, gym, and a pool. Short drive north or south to Portland or Portsmouth NH. The property is clean and comfortable. Chuck and Amy are great to deal with. Responsive and accommodating, they also gave us some great tips on where to go. We can't wait to come back again when the weather is warmer!

This condo is great! Clean, has everything you need for a get away, location is perfect, close to everything including the beach, but still private. We will definitely be coming back!
