Situated in Vilano Beach, this charming house for $177 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Beachside Bungalow resides in Vilano Beach, on Veterans Island. No matter where you are out here, it’s just seconds to the beach. This small, cozy home has 2 bedrooms, and 1 and a half bathrooms. Very beautifully decorated, with comfortable furniture and great colors, Beachside Bungalow is the kind of place you will tell your friends about. Vilano Beach sits just outside the downtown historic area of St. Augustine, cross the bridge and you are there. And if you are coming from that way into town, don’t miss a drive down the magnificent Magnolia Avenue, Magnolia Avenue was named one of the Top 10 Most Beautiful Streets in America by National Geographic! From there, nearby attractions will include The Old Jail, The Fountain of Youth, The Great Cross, Castillo de San Marcos, St. George Street, and more. St. Augustine itself central to the best of Florida, with day trips out to Tampa, Orlando, Daytona, Ocala, Cape Canaveral, Jacksonville, and more. Vilano Beach itself is a great place for shell hunting. Start at the southern tip, and head north towards Ponte Vedra, through some very secluded beaches that do not get picked over as much. You can watch dolphins in the bay, spend the day fishing, boating, jet skis, and endless other beach and water activities. Beachside Bungalow is a pet friendly rental home, for small animals. We allow for a maximum of 2 dogs. The house is no smoking indoors, and if you do smoke outside, please do not litter the yard. You will absolutely love our escape to the sun. A brand-new home is only a few minutes' walk to the beach, giving you access to miles of tranquil, dog-friendly stretches of sand and surf. It is in a quiet residential neighborhood, perfect for bike riding and evening strolls. There are several restaurants within walking distance, downtown St. Augustine is a just quick drive over the bridge and the Publix market is right down the road. Everything you need is so conveniently located that you really will have time to enjoy your vacation. The house is light-filled and bright with an open floor plan. The living space spills out onto both a screened, covered porch and a large open deck, giving you plenty of options for sunning, napping, eating outside or having a cocktail to unwind. Second floor living means you are in the treetops, and from there you can listen to the breezes through the leaves and the sound of the surf. It is very private while still being close to all the area's amenities. The kitchen is generously stocked, has upgraded stainless appliances and lots of counter space. There is a large pantry to tuck away groceries, all the kitchen gadgets you could possibly need and even an electric citrus juicer for fresh orange juice in the morning. There is plenty of storage space for your cars and toys in the over-sized garage and an outdoor shower to rinse off after a day in the sun. We have stocked plenty of linens and towels for your use, comfy gel foam mattresses with soft bedding and plenty of seating, both inside and out. There are two bedrooms and one and a half baths in this home. One bedroom has a king bed and the other has a queen, so four sleep comfortably. There is a TV in the living room, a telephone and high-speed internet all serviced through AT&T Uverse. We are just about an hour from the Jacksonville airport and amazingly easy to find. Pack your swimsuits and flip-flops and come on down!

My husband, our beagle (George) and I love this house. This is our third visit and I am sure there will be more. Very clean, good location, nice neighbor hood (steps to the beach, close to nice restaurants). What more could you ask for?

I have rented a few bungalows in Velano Beach and this one is my absolute favorite - so much so, it will be the one I choose anytime I wish to stay at Vilano Beach (of course if it's available).
I absolutely love this bungalow, the decor, the layout, the peaceful street it sits on and my absolute favorite was the long and charming patio - screened in along with comfortable furniture and ceiling fans. When I was at the bungalow that's where you could find me - morning and evening! I love birds and having trees surrounding it, I totally enjoyed the birds singing and chirping. The kitchen was great as well and the bungalow was well equipped. Close to two different beach entrances was a plus for our evening walks and very short distance to St Augustine and great restaurants. Had a great getaway and hope to do it again in the very near future.

Loved the Vilano Beach area. It was ideal to visit nearby family. We had fun visiting the nearby beach and restaurants. The home was clean and equipped with everything we needed for our stay.

The house is beautiful with lots of space. Great location with a block walk to a beach access entrance right on the other side of 13th St. Really enjoyed sitting on the screened porch and listening to the ocean waves each night. Garage was nice, making it easy to load and unload especially when raining. Only downfall, kitchen lacked some basic pots and utensils for cooking. Definitely will book this house again.

This was our second visit to Beachside Bungalow. This house is very clean and well appointed. It is within steps to the beach and a five minute drive to two nice restaurants. There are seafood markets and produce stands near by for days when I prefer to cook. Downtown St.Augustine is a short drive for browsing and tourist attractions. Our dog enjoys the new sniffs in the back yard. We had a very relaxing week. So relaxing we are going back in two months.

This is a perfect location for a quiet beach that is dog friendly and within a 5 min walk. The house is perfect for four adults and two dogs. We loved the screened porch area and the open planned living and kitchen.

We were unable to even get to the property as our flights were cancelled and the bridges to vilano were closed and people were evacuated due to hurricane Ian. The property manager refused any refund and stated “hope you bought insurance” I tried messaging multiple times after that to explain that we aren’t even allowed to go but he never replied again. I will NEVER rent from him again. Our other house we rented (we had the whole family going and needed 2 houses) offered a refund without me even asking.

Booking was a breeze and the house was comfortable for the 4 of us. Close location to the beach and stores for groceries. At. Augustine is an easy drive or Uber so plenty to go and do.

We love this property! The location to the beach is unparalleled. It's always clean and the garage is to die for. We wish it had another bathroom, but it's manageable! Cozy home away
Our family had a great time. Property had beach supplies for those families who travel long distances and cannot pack everything needed for a nice beach day. No issues with the home. Walk to the beach was within a reasonable distance and easily accessible. Pathway to beach does have a dune to walk down. We did not bring our dogs; however, if we should return, we will bring them. Home was perfect set up for dogs. And beach was VERY dog friendly! Great week away. Home felt as cozy as our own homes.

Loved this Place
We were so impressed with this rental. We waited too late to find a three bedroom, so this was picked out of necessity, but I'm so glad we found this place. Yes, it is about a two block walk to the beach, but the place is so clean! It is only one bathtub/shower, which was hard when we were trying to get ready to go out, but there are two bathrooms. Having an immaculate garage to park in and keep our beach belongs in for the week was so wonderful. We loved the porch, and how light and airy the entire house is. The neighborhood is full of locals and they are as nice as can be. But the best part was how uncrowded the beach was. If you walk up the road and use the beach access you will almost have your own private beach experience. Vilano Beach is our new favorite place!! I wish my hubby and I could come back to this rental without our teenagers:)!!

This house is amazing. The porches are awesome. The neighborhood is beautiful and dog friendly a lot of people with dogs! Short walk to beach it is also clean and beautiful. Will definitely be back! We had a great time and my dog enjoyed it!

Beach is within easy walk, Publix supermarket is a couple of miles away with a good Italian and Chinese restaurant in the shopping center. St. Augustine downtown attractions an easy drive. Best part is how uncrowded the beach is. Did some surf fishing all week, caught several keeper whiting and a pompano, and released several small whiting snd a pompano. Peaceful, relaxing week at the beach.

We loved this rental! Excellent location. We walked a short distance to the beach and to the boat dock. We brought our 22 ft bay boat. Parking was a little tight but we made it work. Everything was nicely decorated. We loved the screened porch. We could hear the ocean and feel the ocean breeze. Very nice place to stay and would stay again. I left a new pair of reef sandals at the front door and they are now missing. Worn once so I am disappointed if someone took them. Met some great neighbors on our walks!

Vilano beach rental review
We loved this rental! Excellent location. We walked a short distance to the beach and to the boat dock. We brought our 22 ft bay boat. Parking was a little tight but we made it work. Everything was nicely decorated. We loved the screened porch. We could hear the ocean and feel the ocean breeze. Very nice place to stay and would stay again. I left a new pair of reef sandals at the front door and they are now missing. Worn once so I am disappointed if someone took them. Met some great neighbors on our walks!
