Great location. Beautiful view on the canal. The outdoor space is very nice and of course the pool and hot tub was a big bonus. The home is very comfortable and extremely well stocked. I would highly recommend this home.

We had an excellent stay at Lemon Drop rental. The house was clean and organized…loved the labeling and simple organization that made it easy to live/work in for the week. We spent many hours in and around the beautiful pool area and screened-in porch. In addition to enjoying restaurants and activities in Marathon, the location was perfect for day trips to Key West and to Islamorada. The Key Colony neighborhood was a safe, quiet community…great for families. Thank you!

This place is amazing. We rented a boat for the week and there was plenty of room to dock it plus quick access to the ocean. The backyard with the pool is incredible and the property is fenced in which was perfect for our dog. The house is very up to date and super comfortable. Location is excellent as well.

Lemon Drop is a great vacation home. It was clean and very well stocked. The pool and jacuzzi were clean & the landscaping was beautiful. Key Colony is a well patrolled friendly community.

Staying on the canal was great (even saw a small shark there one day) and having the club passes was perfect (easy 2 minute walk to the beach). Our pool and hot tub were very convenient to have at the house. Everyone that worked at the club was also very nice. The location to the popular things in Marathon was great, and it’s only ~1 drive to Key West. The property managers were also very friendly and easy to get in touch with. We would definitely come back!!!

We had 2 couples and our small dogs with us. It was fenced in, so perfect for the dogs. The house was well equipped, and seemed either newly or recently renovated. Choice of screened in or outside seating, & nice pool. The property had everything we needed!

The house was so perfect for two couples because both rooms had king beds and bathrooms. The property is so beautiful with fruit trees and palms. It made for sun and shade. We actually spend a whole day at the house because being outside was such a pleasure. The house was clean and comfortable. The location is perfect.

Always a pleasure to work with Sandy through booking in VRBO. The home has had upgrades and it looks beautiful inside. It’s a perfect size for our family. We’ve been staying at Key Colony Beach for over 18 years. Always a great time and would highly recommend this home. If they ever want to sell please keep us in mind!!

This was the second time that we have stayed at this property and we enjoyed it each time. Perfect location, lush landscaping and a nice house. We will more than likely try to stay here again.

We stayed at the Lemon Drop last week and it was a beautiful home in a great location! Home has been completely updated and was comfortable for our family of 4! The hammock was a great place to hang, the pool was refreshing and the full time neighbors were welcoming! Key Colony Beach is a quirky community with some weird rules and ordinances, however they did not affect us, thankfully! We would come back and visit the Lemon Drop again in the future! Fresh banana & Lime trees too!! Pots of pineapple growing all around the lush, beautifully landscaped property! Thanks!!

The home was very nice and comfortable. We loved the beautiful yard and the screened porch was much better than even the pictures. We spent much of our time there. The bedrooms were large and well furnished. The kitchen and laundry appliances were very up scale. SO new that we could have used some instructions. Of course we managed them anyway. Nice neighborhood, quiet and close to everything. We would recommend the home for others.

We stayed at Lemon Drop for 1 week the end of April 2016 and loved it. It was the perfect size home for my husband, myself and our college age son. The home was very clean and the bed and furniture were comfortable. The kitchen was just the right size and was stocked with all the cooking items we needed. The screened in porch was delightful with the ceiling fan and the breeze. The boat dock was perfect for our boat 18 foot and easy to get to both the Atlantic and the Gulf with a short canal drive. Each afternoon when not out on the boat we would spend it by the pool which was refreshing and there was plenty of shade not to mention may types of fruit trees in the yard. One week every year we stay in the Keys and Lemon Drop will now be our home to come to each year!

We rented this house Easter week 2016. We were impressed the second we walked through the door. The house is perfect size for my family of 5. The backyard is amazing. My kids named all the lizards hanging on the property. We made so many memories and were sad to leave. Definitely be back next year!

We rented Lemon Drop for one week; the last Saturday in February 2016. The home was comfortable and a nice size for the two of us. It was well equipped with everything you could need in the kitchen and linens/towels. The kitchen is essentially a galley style, and could be a problem if trying to prepare meals for a family. However, it has very nice appliances and the smallish kitchen size was no problem for the two of us. We enjoyed the privacy the home offers with an oversized lot and private pool. We also enjoyed the location of the home within easy walking distance to three restaurants. However, please know that there is a new home under construction directly across the canal - your view is a construction site along with all the noise that goes with it. Across the street, in front of the home is a duplex that appears to be undergoing a full remodel with multiple contractors constantly coming and going and again - construction noise. We were disappointed that the owner did not disclose the new home construction across the canal - as this has obviously been known for some time. Please know that the "jacuzzi" mentioned in the property description, is no more than a spa area that recirculates water from the pool. There are no jets or controls. The pool itself is in need of a remodel with missing tiles and black moldy areas around the tile dolphins motif. The interior of the home could also use a remodel, but it is maintained considering the age of the home. Also understand that VRBO allows owners to remove unfavorable reviews. This probably explains why Lemon Drop only shows two reviews (VRBO #384026). If there are two adult couples sharing the home, one of the couples will be disappointed with the size of the closet in the bedroom facing the street, because it contains the home's AC unit. We visit each year, but would like to see some updates before renting this property again.

My wife and I spent two weeks here with our two Maltese puppies and could not be happier. The location is super since it it walking distance to a few great restaurants (love Sparkies !) ...the backyard with the pool and all the comforts on the canal was well kept, maintained and enjoyable. The backyard was fenced in for our puppies and they could not get enough of chasing the small lizards. I loved fishing off the back until the fishing pole with bait on it that I had left got pulled into the water by a fish. I replaced the rod and reel and I know now it was a large catfish. The kitchen was super with everything you need...the new refrigerator was so spacious..... the living room was so comfy with the large TV and comfy couch. The bedroom with a king size bed was comfy and allowed us to watch TV until we fell asleep. I am sure that anyone who comes here will enjoy it and have no complaints. We would come back with no problem !

Lemon Drop is an excellent choice for a stay in The Key Colony/marathon location. The house is in walking distance to the beach clubs, bars, and restaurants within the neighborhood-- so it makes it easy, without having to pack everything in the car and hit the road. The home is clean & comfortable with many sleeping options as well as outdoor entertaining. Whether you want to fish off the docks, have a meal outside or drinks in the pool... You've got it made at this property! Have stayed here 2 years in a row with our family and there's no need to look anywhere else. :)
