About this house rental
Nestled in New Buffalo, this lovely house for $237 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Located in the heart of Harbor Country, Union Pier, Lakeside, Sawyer, Harbert, Bridgeman, Three Oaks, and Michigan City, Indiana. Near vineyards, wineries, breweries, and distilleries. New Buffalo beach and boat ramp, other beaches, including Dunes State parks and the National Lake Shore Park are all near. SoulShine Inn is a modest two bedroom Inn with a queen size bed in each. Vaulted ceiling,full kitchen and patio with a grill, fully fenced back yard and fire pit . Wireless internet and cable TV. No smoking please. Over twenty restaurants and six antique shops within ten minutes. Five minutes to New Buffalo Beach and boat ramp. Kayak or paddle board up the Galien River. Boat, Waverunner rentals are available on Lake Michigan. Golfing, casinos, and hiking, all within a 10 minute drive. An easy walk to Davids Deli, unique shops, grocery, library, and pharmacy, bike and beach rental. Ample free parking. We may have room for boat parking as well. Amtrak from Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland. Both bedrooms are on the main level. There are five steps up to the front door. The loft is available with a queen size inflatable mattress. There is an attached latter to access the loft. It is a bit steep. Pictures are included above. Interaction with Guests We have a keypad to allow arrival flexibility .You can contact us via text or email. We live a few doors down the street if you are in need of immediate help. The Neighborhood Our home is a mile from the beach. A ten minute walk will get you to the marina or to town. Other Things to Note We have a queen size air mattress if needed to change accomidations from 4 to 6

The house was small, but oh so cute! If I were single, I'd love to live there. We were disappointed that so many of the mom and pop restaurants were closed, but COVID didn't help that situation. The back yard was very secure and safe for our 4-legged family members. We all enjoyed the fire pit! I can highly recommend this spotless rental!

Our family of 3 + 2 dogs all had a wonderful stay at the SoulShine Inn! The property is so convenient to nearby restaurants and attractions. The house is SO well appointed with everything you need and then some! The Inn has a great, updated feel and is super comfortable. The outdoor setting feels very private and we loved making s'mores in the outdoor fireplace (which is very cool) - and firewood and s'mores ingredients were all provided!!. Debra is the best host you could ask for! She was very prompt responding to the questions we had and we really appreciated the friendly and clear communications throughout the entire booking process and stay. Top notch all around - Thanks!

We were in town to attend wedding events- we had our 2 dogs with us. Our dogs are 11 years old and well behaved. They welcomed us and have a lovely fenced in back yard in a lovely neighborhood. It was so perfect. The cottage is very nicely appointed- the backyard was inviting, Thank you so much!!

We had an amazing stay at Soulshine Inn. The location was great and walking distance to restaurants, hiking trails, breweries and beaches. The backyard was completely fenced and safe for our 2 dogs. The owners were great, very responsive and helpful with suggestions. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay at the SoulShine Inn. It was clean and the beds were comfy. It was nice to see all the little touches they put in the home to make it feel cozy for visitors. We enjoyed the outdoor sitting areas and fire pit. We spent most of our time outside and enjoyed the birds and squirrels that would pop in to visit. Debra was quick to respond to any questions and concerns we had. They even delivered more fire wood to us when I asked where we could purchase more. The best part was we weren’t far from Oink’s, the Dutch ice cream place, which we visited two nights in a row! Thank you for helping to make our Girls’ trip a memorable one!

My husband and I loved our first stay in this darling spot so much we came back. It’s within walking distance of downtown New Buffalo but a nice, quiet neighborhood. The fenced-in backyard is lovely and all the thoughtful little details (nightlights, overhead fan, beach chairs) were much appreciated. Just a delightful time. Hope we can return!

My husband, 2 year-old son, and I stayed at this house. It was a nice stay and close to everything. Bedrooms are very small. So small that we couldn’t fit our pack-in-play for our son to sleep in any of the bedrooms which was a bummer. Also, the couch had crumbs in it and lot of dust under it. Other then that, the house was clean. Would stay again if it were my husband and I but too small with little kids under 2. Debra was responsive.

We had a wonderful time at this property. Yhe house was as advertised, clean, and had everything we needed during our stay. Our dogs loved the fenced backyard and the close proximity to both Warren Dunes and Indiana Dunes. We enjoyed the ability to easily walk to many restaurants in New Buffalo, especially Beer Church Brewing. Thank you Debra, we hope to be back soon!

We had a wonderful time in this lovely home! The house was very comfortable and cozy for our family of 4 and has a great backyard. We were so pleased to be able to take our dogs with us. We all spent a lot of time enjoying the yard and the firepit. The bed are super comfortable and we liked being able to walk to get food and ice cream. Debra is very responsive, friendly and helpful. The story of how this home came to be was very heart-warming and just made everything even better. We definitely wish we could have stayed longer. We hope to return soon!

As the reviews for this property are already excellent, we didn't expect to be even more impressed! I can honestly say that this is the best use of space I have encountered.
We stay in Vrbo houses because we travel with our Bulldog, so we have seen a LOT of them... almost all very nice but this place was just something very special. Everything was cozy and the decor eclectic.
We travel to this area often and hope to stay again!
Our concert (the reason for the trip!) was cancelled for the second night but we were SO comfy, we didn't care. Pretty sure it was the crisp fall air and the outdoor fireplace!
If you are thinking about this cottage, stop thinking and book it!
