About this cottage rental
This Luxurious Carriage House, 'Goin' Coastal' in WaterColor at 142 Pond Cypress Way in Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459 is the perfect vacation rental. It is separate from the large private home and its spacious studio-like room with 15-foot ceilings and gorgeous hardwood floors fits the needs of friends on a get-a-way, a couple on a romantic weekend or a small family with room for a couple of kids. In addition to the plush king bed there is also a queen convertible sofa bed and plenty of room for cribs or extra luggage! Keep in mind that this is one big room so the sleeper sofa is in the same room as the king bed ;) The large comfy sofa is the perfect place to watch sporting events or movies in front of the large flat screen TV. The kitchen is ideal for quick meals and has a full-sized fridge, sink and microwave. There is no stove, oven or washer/dryer as we assume you will be enjoying one of the many restaurants in the area and not cooking or doing laundry while on vacation! The full bathroom includes a shower, tub and large sink area with room to spread out as you get ready to go out to a nice dinner or a walk on our pristine white beaches to view our incredible sunsets. The cozy carriage house is on a quiet corner in Phase II and overlooks a beautiful pond. We are steps away from one of WaterColor's nine gorgeous pools. Guests will get up to four amenity bands and that is the maximum we are allowed to have via our HOA rules ;) WaterColor was voted the #1 Family Resort by Travel and Leisure and is the perfect place to enjoy the perfect beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. We have just completed the new Camp Watercolor with two pools, slides and a lazy river as well as the Watercolor Beach Club with three pools and three restaurants. There is nothing like this on the coast. Numerous activities are available such as biking, kayaking, surfing, tennis, golf, hiking and incredible restaurants for the family as well as just adults. Having come to 30A for 15 plus years with four kids ourselves WaterColor has great access to wonderful responsible babysitters that will treat your kids as their own. The southern hospitality is like no other and you will find yourselves coming back year after year like we did before we made this our home. Not only was the unit itself beautiful, well stocked and spacious, but the hosts were also very generous with their time, insight and recommendations that made our stay even that much better. We loved it! Beth was such a kind host and we had everything we needed for our little family. The bed was comfy and kitchenette helped cut down eating out. The beach is a short drive away and the pool is walkable, we really appreciated being able to use all the watercolor amenities. Fish out of water was our favorite restaurant… close, delicious and a great view. If you go to camp watercolor get there before they open to get a seat, they fill up quickly. My son had an emergency dr visit while on the trip and even that was close, I think it was a minute clinic. Overall, great stay and we would love to go back!

This carriage house was perfect for a short two night stay in Watercolor. It had everything my daughter and I needed (and more)! The location was great too - right by the Camp Watercolor pool. I can't say enough about Beth, our host. She was super communicative and made sure we were taken care of the entire stay. I highly recommend this property and plan to stay here again!

This property was perfect for my son and I during a short stay for the holiday weekend. The neighborhood is quiet and the access to the pools and beach was great!! The owners are very sweet and checked on us several times throughout our stay.

Absolutely loved our stay! We were treated like family, and their location could not have been better. Super clean, extremely comfortable bed, cutest beach decor and convenient to all the amenities. We walked to camp watercolor every afternoon to end the day. We rented kid trailers for the bikes they provided so we were able to get to the beach and Seaside easily. Would stay here again in a heartbeat and will definitely be recommending to our friends and family!

The property owner (Beth) was so welcoming and helpful. Her place was clean and convenient to the watercolor pools and also close to a grocery store and shopping. Check-in/Check-out was a breeze. It was the perfect place for us both and I would love to stay here again.

The Carriage House and Watercolor are exactly as advertised. Both were perfect for our family vacation. Beth went above and beyond. We couldn’t make it in time to pick up our golf cart so she took time out of her day to pick it up for us. She makes you feel like part of their family! We loved it and when we come back, we know exactly where to stay!

We enjoyed our stay in Beth and Randy’s beautiful carriage house! They were the nicest and most personable hosts of any place we’ve ever stayed. Beth was great at communicating and getting all of the information to us on time. The carriage house was decorated so beautiful and had all we needed for a great visit to Watercolor. It was an added bonus to be able to access the beach club and the pools in the neighborhood. Such beautiful amenities! All in all, we had a fabulous long weekend celebrating one of our friends daughter’s wedding! Beth and Randy were an added bonus!

My husband and I had an amazing weekend. We were lucky to find this little gem. Beth was the sweetest and was available for any questions or recommendations. She made us feel like we were family visiting from out of town. The place was clean and decorated beautifully. It’s not right on the beach, but close enough to ride bikes. We enjoyed riding through all of the trails and exploring along the way. Our favorite restaurant we ate at was The Fish out of Water. What an amazing view to watch the sunset! Right after sunset we got an amazing view of the bright starts. We definitely look forward to booking again.

This was our first time to stay in Watercolor. We loved it! The Carriage house was beautiful. The bed was so comfortable (this is always a big deal to us!). The pools with waterslides and lazy river were very nice. We loved how everything was basically in walking or biking distance. The community was very nice. We loved the connection to nature that we felt while we were there. Beth was so sweet, and helpful with any questions that we had! Our daughter (and us) loved getting to meet Gunner!! We will definitely be back! Hope to see y’all soon!!

This carriage house was perfect for our little family of four! Beth made us feel so welcomed and right at home as soon as we arrived. The pictures do not do this place justice - the second we walked in, I felt a wave of zen wash over me (especially after a long drive with 2 little ones)! WAY closer to Camp Watercolor than I even imagined and a short drive over to the beach and square. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Beth and Randy!

Wonderful Family Vacation!
We had the best time during out stay. Watercolor is the most charming are with so much to do. The carriage house was absolutely adorable and spacious. Our family of 4 fit perfectly. Beth was so accessible and so helpful with all of my questions. We rented a golf cart which was very convenient to get us to everywhere we needed to go. We never had to get in our real vehicle. My girls loved camp watercolor the most, being that they are 4 & 6. They didn't want to leave our "hideout" as they referred to the carriage house. We can't wait to visit again.

This is our second time staying at the carriage house. It was perfect! Beth is so sweet and always makes sure you have everything you need to make your stay as easy as possible! It is a block away from Camp Watercolor and a few minutes from the beach. We’re so glad we found this place! We’ll definitely be back!
