The house was perfect for our family reunion of 20 people. There was a place for all of us to sit and eat meals together and the kitchen, with the double fridge and double oven, allowed us to cook large meals easily. We enjoyed the quiet location, the fire pit, the kayaks on the dock, and the hot tub. In the summer, there would be even more to do in the water. The house was clean and the hosts communicated well.

We had around 20 people staying at Comfort Life where we had a Family Reunion Thanksgiving. We ordered prepared holiday meals from Food City (20 min. drive), and everything we needed for our meals and to heat up our meals was provided in CL's kitchen. Having 2 dishwashers and 2 refrigerators was such a blessing! We also loved how each bedroom had it's own bathroom. The cornhole and hot tub and grill were wonderful to use too. I can't think of anything we needed that wasn't supplied. We did have to go grab more toilet paper and paper towels, dishwasher packets, but that's normal for VRBO stays. There was plenty of room to stretch out and relax without feeling cramped. And, plenty of seats for all of us at the dining room table/island area. It's a great place for a large family getaway.

House is as advertised and all the amenities are great. Golf cart is clutch if you have younger travelers because it is a bit ways down the stairs to the dock. Had the best time swimming and jumping off the upper deck of the platform. Great spot.

This house was a perfect location for our family to enjoy our first lake trip as a group. Having enough bathrooms, large open main floor plan and a dock the children can play all day on. We will cherish these memories forever!

The house was perfect for our group of 16. The 2 dishwashers and ovens came in handy with cooking and clean up. We were very happy with how well stocked the kitchen was, had more than enough plates and silverware. Sadly, we had some rainy days but the house was big enough for different groups to play games, watch tv and sit outside. We greatly appreciated the use of the golf cart because the stairs were a challenge for one of our siblings and a work out for the rest of us. The ice machine was a hit to fill up coolers and cups.

This home was beautiful and so well equipped for a big group of people of all ages. The ice machine was a lifesaver! The owners were very communicative, and the local representative was helpful. The trip down to the lake was a little more rugged than I expected, but the golf cart helped a lot. It was a beautiful and peaceful setting that our family enjoyed. Would definitely recommend renting a boat from one of the nearby marinas. The lake is huge and so much to see!

A group of 6 couples booked Comfort Life for a spring marriage retreat, and it was the absolute perfect setting! The home was beautiful and remarkably well equipped. Plenty of room for everyone at the huge dining area and anything we could possibly need in the kitchen. The bedrooms were roomy and comfortable, and we enjoyed the beautiful fire pit and pingpong table. The best part was how responsive the hosts were, though. Mary Beth really went to some trouble to make us feel welcome. Thank you!

This was the perfect place for our family Christmas gathering--even beautifully decorated for the holidays. We had four families (multigenerational) in our party and we were all thrilled with the accommodations. The house is very well appointed with all the comforts of home. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with absolutely everything we could need. The setting is absolutely gorgeous, even in winter. We would definitely choose this one again!

My parents, their four kids, spouses and children and one grandparent. Total of 23 people. The home was perfectly laid out for a large group. Two dishwashers was amazing beings we had so many people we were feeding for Thanksgiving. The home was clean and welcoming. Perfectly decorated. Not over done but not scarce. More washcloths would have been nice, we had to buy some and wash clothes daily to have enough but awesome there was a washing machine and two dryers. The teenagers loved the hot tub! Overall, it was amazing! If we ever stay in the area again, we will definitely consider this home or another one by the Comforts.

Such a nice house! Had everything we needed to make us feel comfortable. The walk to the dock is a little steep but the golf cart was a life saver! Would recommend staying here to anyone.

This was a perfect property for 15 guests. We enjoyed the large kitchen space as we love to cook when we get together. The dining area was great for games, eating and conversation. The only downside is the long hike to the dock.

our family booked this house to spend time on the lake and celebrate an 80th birthday. The house was clean and well equipped. We had plenty of room and really
enjoyed the lake. The use of the golf cart to get down to the lake was great since we had some seniors in our group. The only thing that was a little disappointing is that once you take the golf cart down to the dock. There are still about 13 stairs to get to the doc. My mother, whose 80th birthday we were celebrating is unable to do more than 1 or two stairs.

This home was so well stocked and furnished. Lots of beds, beautiful kitchen with more than enough supplies. Firepit and outdoor space where we spent most nights. Great two-level dock. The slide was a hit. The cove was quiet and calm enough for the little kids to swim and everyone to stand up paddle board. The owners were incredibly responsive and helpful before are arrival, during and even after. Perfect home for a large family!
As other reviewers mentioned, the walk down to the lake is tricky so the golf cart was a game-changer! We took many rides back and forth. Especially helpful for Grandma!

Family vacation
We had our family summer vacation at Comfort Life. We are a family of 17 with ages 10-76. Everyone agreed that is was a wonderful property with many fun activities to do. The nurses raved over the cleanliness, the cooks over the spectacular kitchen (2 ovens, dishwashers, refrigerators! Best of All - functioning ICE MAKER) the teens over the gathering spots and dock, and the granny over the golf cart! Mary Beth was always available for a phone if we had questions or problems. Broken dishwasher was taken care of very quickly. The only suggestions we might have would be an update of the mattresses - to be fair, most of the party have back problems so they always want better mattresses. The kids wanted more dockside amenities. We could only bring a few of our own kayaks and water toys because of limited packing space. We did rent a boat from a nearby marina and we all - (including granny) jumped off the nearby “jumping bridge”. Everyone agreed that they would be happy to come back again.

New favorite spot!
Our first time visiting Norris Lake, we couldn’t have chosen a better spot. This beautiful home was the perfect location for our unique group. With toddlers, teenagers and adults, there was plenty of room to spread out and we never felt like we were on top of each other. There were even enough rooms so a couple of the teenagers to enjoy their own space. I loved that we were in the trees and far enough from the dock to escape the bugs and not worry about the littles getting too close to the water. The golf cart was an added luxury as those steps can really get that heart rate up. We’ve stayed in VRBO’s for years and this one had THE BEST kitchen for a group. Fully stocked and functional! Wi-Fi worked great but most of us had spotty or no phone service and so we used the landline for boat rentals, etc. We needed to communicate with the owners a few of times before and during our stay and MaryBeth was always helpful and responded right away! Can’t wait to come back!!

Second time and it was just as fun
This is the best property we've ever rented for a big group. Each bedroom has an associated bathroom, two of all appliances in the kitchen, plenty of dishes and utensils, towels...I could go on and on. The lake was quiet in late May and we had lots of fun in the water, at the dock and in the hot tub. This was our second trip to the house and I do not hesitate to recommend it.

Perfect Respite after Christmas!!
We were looking for a nice place for two families with our adult children to relax and unwind after the holidays. This was the perfect spot!! We enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub, and loved grilling out and cooking in the well stocked kitchen. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out and everyone had their own bathroom! Would highly recommend!

Friends Getaway
We spent our annual Friends Getaway at the Comfort Life Lake-house. We knew we were going to a lake house during the off season, but we were seeking seclusion this year. The house was great for our four families. Two couples stayed on the main floor and two couples and all the kids stayed downstairs. The house was in good shape. The kitchen was huge with plenty of cooking space and double dishwashers. The house itself was about a 10 minute, winding drive from the nearest town of LaFollette. In town you could get what you needed at the local Food Lion. If you are planning to go into Pigeon Forge, it is about an hour and 20 minute drive from the lake house. Overall the house was really nice and the owner’s treated us great. Good communication and response to all of our questions.
