Tucked away in a quiet/private neighborhood in the "Golden Rectangle" on Carmel Point, Just 800 ft to Carmel Beach is our Sea Cottage. A short walk to Carmel State Beach & wildlife reserve (1block+). A short walk to the East is the Mission Ranch, owned by former Mayor/Actor Clint Eastwood. See sheep in the meadow, lagoon or enjoy a fine meal at sunset. Point Lobos is an experience that shouldn't be missed! The cottage is completely updated. Casual elegance unparalleled.

Located in a beautiful neighborhood that is fun walking. About two easy walking blocks to the beach with great tidal pools for our two year old granddaughter and dog. And the sunsets! It was fun to be part of the community during sunsets and at the beach. We enjoyed also walking into town- a longer walk — and parking looked like it would be difficult in town but was not. We enjoyed alot of seafood. The house was wonderfully appointed with plenty of extra bed pillows and linens , blankets, beach towells and chairs. This is the way I set up my bay house in the Chesapeake- we didn’t end up using the fire table, the indoor fireplace or the grill but appreciated they were there. We are big fans of outdoor showers and patios. So we really enjoyed those. The big gathering room was beautifully appointed for a family of five to six to hang out in comfortably as well. Everything very well taken care of and clean. Thank you for the use of your very lovely house!

My husband and I stayed at this property during our trip to attend Rennsport 7 with multiple events around the Monterey peninsula. The house and outdoor space space was lovely and just as described in the listing. Check in was simple and we were very comfortable there. We know our way around the area and knew everything we wanted to do was very convenient to the home. Also it is an easy walk to the beach. We very much enjoyed our stay there and would definitely stay again in the future!

The cottage was wonderful in every way. We especially enjoyed the patio: meditation and reading in the warm morning sunlight and sitting out and talking in the late afternoon upon our return from one of the 3 nearby beaches or Point Lobos. Karen is great to communicate with and planning with her is simple and easy.

We really enjoyed our stay—a cozy fireplace with firewood ready to be burned in the fireplace. A fully stocked kitchen, BBQ, comfortable bed, walk to the beach, and/or Ocean Ave. for food, shopping, etc.
We look forward to going back soon. Note: If your cell service is sensitive, I highly recommend getting the code to open the front door before arriving.

Karen kindly accommodated the charge of our Phev vehicle which we used to visit the surrounding cities for coffee or sightseeing.
We would highly recommend this rental to anyone who wants to enjoy a wonderful vacation in Carmel.

My husband, myself, our 2 year old and our dog had the best long weekend here. The location is perfect, we walked just about everywhere. Although we never cooked the kitchen was well appointed. The pictures do not do this place justice, it was much nicer than what I had expected. Thank you for a great stay!

The house is charming, cozy, and in a great location! The only thing I would suggest improving upon is bigger beds. The rooms are large enough for King sized beds. That’s all! Other than that, a perfect get away!
A small bonus that won’t always be there: the the house across the street is under construction (we never heard a sound), and one of the crew has a dog name Chester. Chester is the best welcoming committee we’ve ever encountered. He even tried going for a car ride with us a time or two. I hope as many people as possible to get the chance to meet Chester before construction is completed.
