Overall our stay was good but there was some issues with this cabin. Be aware that the heat in the main room does not work and the cabin is drafty so you have to use the wood stove to keep it warm and since it was very cold out during our stay it never really got warm. There was lots of wood which is good but no kindling, matches, or paper so that makes it hard to get the fire going. The dishwasher works but it doesn’t have heat or hot water so the dishes need to be washed before or they will not get clean. The stove has broken knobs which makes it hard to use and you have to be careful to turn off the gas properly. We had a great stay but lost power in the storm and there was no flashlights and only tea candles so that was challenging. The basketball court was cool but it has no heat and the backboard was broken at one end but we made it work.

We loved this cozy cabin and the hot tub was clean and ready to go. It was comfortable and clean inside. It was a nice quiet place to stay that’s in good condition. It was definitely cold when we got there and took awhile to heat up. The basketball court was really fun but had broken glass. Overall we really enjoyed outer time there and we’re sad to leave!

The place was very cute and cozy, there was a bad smell upon arrival in the main room i lit some candles, and there was trash on the walk way to the hot tub, also there is a mouse living in the down stairs bathroom. It left droppings on the towels. Overall it was a relaxing stay.

We had a great time at this cabin. Loved the hot tub and indoor basketball court. Having a washer and dryer was also a super big perk! It was mostly clean enough, although we did find an article or 2 of clothing left behind from someone else. The only down side was really the amount of paper products that were left for a week. We had the max number of guests and not enough toilet paper or paper towels. We had to go buy our own which was unfortunate considering the hefty price of our stay.

The property was rustic but the hot tub was great. The basketball court was nice. Needed more downstairs seating.

We loved this house. We would definitely stay again. So close to the mountain activities plus it's cozy to stay in all day as well. The hot tub was a hit along with the basketball court with our kids.
we ad everything we needed for some amazing memories :)

We enjoyed the Sharp Cabin. The cabin was cozy, clean, and well stocked. The kids especially enjoyed the bunk room and shop. The warm stove and hot tub were nice to come home to after a day of sledding. We look forward to coming back!

Rented the Sharp cabin for a bachelor party weekend. We all love basketball and in early June in Oregon, you never know the weather so was very excited that we would be able to play basketball in doors even if it was raining and cold. Unfortunately, the basketball courts structure is not the most water tight structure you can find. After a little rain a number of puddles started to collect on the court caused by leaking from the roof. This caused the floor to become very slick and for us unable to actually play any real game. This was disappointing. If you are just looking to play horse, then this is not a real problem but if you want to move at all, I would make sure it is going to be dry during your stay.
Other than then wet bball court, the cabin was great and would recommend it if bball is not the star of your stay.

The experience with Vacasa was so bad it is hard to separate the stay from the Vacasa experience. The house was dirty, it definitely needs a deep cleaning but I also want to honor that everyone has different standards of living and interpretations of clean; I keep my own home cleaner than this one was upon our arrival. The hot tub smelled awfully of mildew.
The furnace died while we were there and the zonal heaters weren't kicking on so the house got down to 50. We were told the thermostat is broken and can't be touched but housekeeping cranked it to 90 before our arrival so when we turned it down the furnace broke. Thankfully there was tons of firewood which was delightful and cozy.
There are odd things like the washer and dryer are stacked in the opposite direction and the doors open the wrong way. The refrigerator door is also on backwards but again, I suppose these are things I understand only someone with a higher level of home design knowledge would be aware of.
When preparing to stay here, definitely consider bringing your own bowls and beverage cups as there us not enough for eight people and consider also bringing a decent frying pan which this home lacks.
The location is lovely, we enjoyed part of the original Barlow Pass, sledding, the Cascade Streamwatch and just admiring the trees. Our kids had fun and while we thought they'd enjoy the shop space, it was freezing, very loud, (the threat of the neighbors calling the police scared them) so it wasn't something we took advantage of.
In our dealings with Vacasa, whoa, what awful customer service. We booked through them because they charge a few dollars less than other sites but I'll spend the extra money to get better service next time.

We rented this cabin for a week and it was terrific! Very clean and well stocked. The only issue was that the heater didn’t downstairs didn’t work in the living room or dining room. However, there was a wood stove and chopping wood wasn’t an issue. We stayed very cozy. Will definitely look to stay here again in the future!

Neat as a pin! This historic mountain cabin has the most beautiful lodge furniture in the living room and there is antique decor throughout. The large modern kitchen is equipped with everything you need to create your favorite family meals. There is a view of the stars from the hot tub. We enjoyed many conversations sitting out on the wrap around porch and taking in the nature around us! Our furry one loved the many walks to the zigzag river and there was even a basket filled with puppy paw towels for those walks after a Mountain rain. Such a warm and comfortable place we can’t wait to go back again!

This was a perfect location! We celebrated our sons 18th birthday with some friends for a weekend on the mountain. The house had all the amenities and was close to Timberline. We will certainly book there again.

We had an issue where the keys to get in the house were not in the lock box. We had to wait outside for two hours before we could get in. Oven did not work but got it fixed. Other than that the place was great! Hot tub was good and the basketball court was great for the kids(a space heater in there would be nice). Would stay here again!

This is a lovely cabin! The setting is beautiful and the river is a short walk away. What went wrong? The oven would not work..we were planning on cooking my birthday dinner. Lots of money and time was put into food planning. My number 1 criteria for my birthday was to have a place with a hot tub. Well, half the jets didn't work at all. The third time we went to soak the heater called it quits. The management company did refund $100. I also suggest if you like comfy blankets, sheets and towels, bring your own. The bath towels were rough and smelled unpleasant. If these things were fixed oh my gosh I would rebook every year!

It was rainy during our stay, but we had a great time in the cabin. My family appreciated all the supplies in the kitchen and the heaters worked great while we were there.
We couldn’t figure out the Netflix situation and there is definitely a lack of dvds but overall we still had a great time and my entire family fit comfortably.

The whole reason to rent a cabin is to have fun and not be right on top of your neighbors being told any noise after 10 and the police will be called sucks

I stayed with my two children and my parents for a week and we walked in the woods and skied, play games, horse in the sport court and used the hot tub a couple of times. We had everything we needed, the kitchen was well-stocked, and we relaxed and laughed and had a great time. The downstairs shower curtain rod was missing when we arrived but after a call to vacasa it was fixed within 24 hours. We had no other issues and the location and scenery is ideal.

Overall great experience! We were disappointed the hot tub was not working while we were there, honestly, it was one of the reasons we selected this property. We ran out of propane as well, and we brought some steaks that had to get broiled instead, not terrible, but would have been better grilled. Those are small details though, and didn’t overshadow our great time here. Would return in a heartbeat!

Nice place, wish hot tub was working
We enjoyed our stay and the amenities provided, including the indoor basketball court. The house was clean. A rug by the door would help. Sadly there's no ping pong table as shown in some photos we saw, and the hot tub was broken. The cleaning person was still there at 4:00pm so we had to wait about 15 min to get in. Check out is a bit early at 10am. The roads in this area have large potholes so I'd recommend larger vehicles.

Great experience
The only complaint I have is that there was no response when I reached out about early check in/ late check out. The place was gorgeous, the woodwork was amazing, the layout was awesome and it was so much fun for the kids! The sink was not working properly but all together it was a comfy home and we enjoyed the stay.
