About this condo rental
Nestled in Virgin Islands (U.S.), this attractive condo for $235 per night is a great choice for your next break. This unit is a professionally renovated one bedroom condo on the first floor at Sapphire Beach. Walk out onto the sand through the wall to wall glass doors from the living space of the unit - the view is incredible. We are located next to the pool, facing the ocean, and adjacent to a stone jetty/peninsula which has great snorkeling. This unit and the general location is great for honeymoons, romantic getaways, fun in the sun, and pure relaxation. Two minutes away is Red Hook - there you can find ferries to St John, endless restaurants, and night dancing.... We are basically set up for couples, but can accommodate up to 4 people. There are taxi stands and Car Rental places at the airport. Car rentals and airport pickups can be arranged at an added cost. Driving is on the left. Be prepared for some new, self taught, occasionally nerve racking driving lessons if it's your first time - but be aware - if you are planning to get around a lot, driving is less expensive than taxis. Check out the availability calendar below - if you miss by a day I can arrange an overnight in a nearby unit - make your move to take your vacation in the best unit in Sapphire.... There are a lot of nice places to rent around St Thomas, but Sapphire has the best beach, the best general location, and this unit is the best available !!! Hope to hear from you......... My only real complaint is the location is so amazing, you won’t want to leave and you’ll spend most of your vacation sitting on the couch staring at the waves. My husband counted 100 feet to the water, I think it was actually less than that. The condo was exactly as described, very clean and comfortable, no issues at all. We had one question and the host answered quickly. Great location to explore all that St. Thomas has to offer. Great property with an awesome sandy beach, good restaurants and chair service. The beach supplies and towels were an unexpected surprise. Thank you for an amazing experience!

One bedside lamp doesn’t work, screen door needs to be fixed/very hard to open and is off track. Shower water is warm. Other than these items things were great.

This was our second stay at this ground floor location with a patio right out to the beach and pool. The pics don’t lie; this place is perfectly situated. This time our host, Chris, proved why the right host can make or break any visit. Power surges had knocked out the hot water unit and the WiFi router. Chris immediately got to work calling in technicians to get them going again, and they were not simple fixes. Chris was not on the island but he stayed in communication with us giving us updates via texts and calls, so we never had to wonder what the progress. Believe us, we have had issues arise at other vacation rentals, and some hosts can make you feel like you’re bothering them. Chris even sent me a partial refund on our stay without me even asking! He was concerned and engaged the entire time he was needed. Cannot more highly recommend Chris and his place.

Sapphire beach is great and the condo is right there on the beach with a beautiful view. From the awesome back patio it's a 5 minute walk to the sandiest part of the beach where the beach bar and restaurants are. Here you can also get your beach chair (included for guests) and rent water sports gear. The pool that's right outside the patio is really nice too. The unit itself is very cute and comfy, nice bed, well set up kitchen if you want to cook (we did one night). The host is awesome and made us feel very taken care of. Overall highly recommended!

Perfect spot for a relaxing beach trip. Spoke to a couple people at the beach that joked they were jealous of us staying right on the beach. Amazing views! Not a lot of the food options from resorts on other islands, but plenty of places to eat. Would definitely recommend!

Everything about the condo and the resort was top notch. Couldn’t ask for better. It is the only place I would stay in St Thomas. The owner couldn’t have been nicer or more responsive. The scenery from the patio was breathtaking. We will be back.

The view from this condo was beautiful! We had pool access just steps away from the condo. Every morning we sat by the pool to watch the sunrise. The condo is just far enough away from the sandy beach ( i say Sandy beach bc the one right in front of the room is rocks) to be quiet and private, away from the crowd, yet still close enough to easily walk to it or get coffee or go to the bar. We loved it there and couldn’t be more happy with the location.

We absolutely loved every thing about this vacation. The condo is decorated wonderfully and had everything we needed. Sapphire is a perfect location! We enjoyed the snorkeling, the pool and the restaurants. We took a day trip to St John! Amazing and just a short ferry ride. I would highly recommend this unit for couples and families. Comfortable bed and couch. We plan to come back and stay at the same place!

Beach towels, cooler and snorkeling gear were thoughtfully provided. We wish there were beach chairs too. The resort is lovely and the owner very attentive to an AC issue. We would absolutely come back.

We absolutely loved our trip St Thomas and this condo made a great home base. It is exactly like the pictures. The view from the patio was amazing. It was a wonderful way to start each day, by watching the sunrise from patio! Chris was a great host, quick to respond to messages and made getting into the unit easy. I hope to return because we really loved our time there. The only feedback I would give is that the bed was uncomfortable for us. The mattress and pillows are very hard. It was uncomfortable enough that my husband slept on the pullout sofa after the first night. Even so, that did not at all diminish how much we loved our stay there.

We really enjoyed the location of this unit being close to the pool. The pool was very nice but the pool bar has not been fixed since the hurricane (although photos show it in it’s “before” state - disappointing it wasn’t portrayed accurately.
The unit is quite dark….if you want a brighter unit, one on the upper floors would be better. Room itself could use a remodel….kitchen cabinets nice but appliances tired. Bed was comfortable but small….don’t even think it was a queen. Bathroom was nice and shower had been renovated. Price point is quite low compared to other units….you get what you pay for. We spent another week in a 2 level more expensive unit on the 3rd floor…it was more to our liking.

Totally easy checkin beautiful kitchen and bath walk out to beach pool and ocean! The toaster element works but handle is broken… Nbd we just held it down for toast! The mattress squeaked a lot when turning over or gettin up! But gosh we slept great and loved the whole 5 days!!

Not newbies with St Thomas, the property was wonderful. Pizza now and it was really good. Music on Sunday afternoons.we have watched this property grow over the past 10 yrs.
The room was as expected, clean linens, plenty of cooking utensils, they don't leave condiments like before. So you need to bring everything EXCEPT coffee filters coffee pot doesn't need it.
New furniture a real couch, bed move around a lot, NOT mattress that is new.
Views of pool and St John never get old. We finely took ferry to St Croix it was fine and Frenchtown brewery was open. yeaaa
Red Hook very close as it Coki beach. Shop at Cost and Save :)
1 issue the end unit had a very loud party screaming and yelling- We went inside and the condo is really good with blocking noise :) Sadly our bad - the parking pass gives you number to call, we should have. Fyi going to need more candles :)

Really is in the best location with best view. You don’t really need to go anywhere because the resort has everything you would want: view, pool, snorkeling, and bar/restaurant.

Just a note for those traveling to St. Thomas- budget extra for Taxi's or car. It adds up quick, but we had amazing time at St. John's (Trunk Bay), Magens Bay, Coki Beach, etc.
Just beautiful, even with "tropical depression", that really never caused bad weather.

The condo was very clean and well supplied! Our bed was a little uncomfortable but we have a REALLY comfortable mattress at home so we may be a little high maintenance in that area. 😂

The beach, location and grounds were amazing.
The ocean and location of the condo were incredible, walk straight out into the sand. Exactly what we wanted, dreamy. Although the furniture is terrible, the couch felt like it had never been cleaned like ever, the bed was hard as a rock and is so loud, my body was sore the whole vacation from the bed. By far not what you would hope to sleep on at a vacation rental. Patio furniture had rusty sharp pieces on them. There is absolutely ZERO information about the area restaurants close by, adventure opportunities. Nothing, normally personal vacation rentals have these special touches. Had a pack and play for my son that was a nightmare and had to have a mop stick through it to hold up one side. the pool bar wasn’t open. The day we checked out, I made sure to get my son up early enough to where he had a nap in the room before checking out for the day of travel. The housekeeper banged on the door until we answered at 10:15 just wondering if we were still there. Check out time isn’t until 11, woke my son up of course. This should never happen, absolutely if it is 11:01 and I should be gone bang away that is more than fair.
