About this cabin rental
Situated in Big Bear, this attractive cabin for $264 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Hot Tub - Pool Table - Gas Grill - Wood Fire Place! Sierra's Base Camp is a single story house with a log like cabin feel. It's been meticulously decorated and furnished to further add to the mountain feel. It truly is a home away from home. It's our hope our guest enjoy it as much as we do when we visit. The cabin has a fully stocked kitchen with refrigerator, gas stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, oven toaster, and coffee maker. Dining Table can seat 6-8. Family Room has a wood burning fireplace, flat screen "Fire Stick" TV, DVD player, and surround sound. The house has free WiFi, ready to go. The sofa turns into a queen size bed when needed. Adjacent to family room is a pool table and pub table. Immediately off the family room is a large deck with an umbrella table (seats 6) and a gas BBQ. A full size front loading washer and dryer is located next to the guest bathroom. There are 3 bedrooms. The Master has a king size bed. The master bath has a shower tub combo. The deck is accessible from the Master. The 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed. The 3rd bedroom has a twin size bunk bed plus a pull out twin. The guest bathroom has a shower bath combo. Please note that the house sleeps 7 in bedrooms and two additional guests with pull out sofa bed for a total of 9. There is additional outside seating space on the front patio. We have beautiful wood furniture which seats 4. And of course there is a beautiful Hot tub to relax in after a long day of activity. Driveway has easy accessibility, especially during winter months, has a very mild downward slope. No stairs to deal with (makes loading and unloading vehicles very easy). Driveway can accommodate up to 3 vehicles. NO SMOKING AND NO PETS

This beautiful cabin was everything we hoped for & more! We really enjoyed the large decks off the front & back of the home & the pool table. It was located in a charming little neighborhood & the cabin itself was well stocked with everything we needed. Our daughter especially enjoyed the bunk beds, toys & board games. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we’ll be back!

Beautiful home!
House is amazing and very cozy! Super family friendly! Love the decor, it completely felt you were in this beautiful chic log cabin. Kitchen and house was well stocked with everything we could possibly need (extremely thoughtful). We will definitely be back again! And, Teresa was great and super responsive. Thank you!

We enjoyed our ski weekend
With three bedrooms, the house was a good fit for me and my spouse, my daughter and her husband, and their three kids. The single story layout made it easy to get our luggage in and out of the house. The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the pool table and the smart TV. We didn’t have any significant issues or complaints, and would certainly consider renting again. One thing to note is that cell coverage in the neighborhood is spotty, so I had trouble navigating using Google Maps until I downloaded the local maps.

Lovely Cabin in the Woods
We had a fantastic time at Sierra's Base Camp. The house is cozy and good for a group. Beautiful views and a perfect kitchen/living area for spending time with friends/family. If camping in the winter and there is snow, you do have to shovel the driveway which is pretty long and a little steep. Also, be aware that the driveway may be difficult to drive out of if there is heavy snow and ice. Overall, we loved staying at this cabin and thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Wish we could have stayed longer! It was so cozy and perfect for our family! The pool table was a lot of fun and my kids loved playing with all the toys! We were lucky to get some snow also which made it a magical trip!❄️👍🏻💕

This was not the first time I have taken my wife and kids to Big Bear but, because of where we stayed, it was by far the best! The cabin was spacious, comfortable, clean and offered all the amenities we were looking for. The convenient access to the ski resorts was also a huge plus. The landlords were extremely helpful, kind and responsive. We will definitely be coming back for another stay!

Great cabin for families
We loved our stay here. Cabin was big and spacey inside and located close to the ski resorts/rental shops and Big Bear Village. Pool table and Jacuzzi were big pluses. Huge elevated patio but it was too cold to use it much when we went.
Owners are very responsive and courteous. Would definitely stay here again!

Great mid week get away
I went up to this cabin for 3 days with my two young kids and the cabin was great! Plenty of space and well laid out. It was also very clean. I will return for sure in the future. MK

Good cleaning crews are hard to come by
With many vacation properties to choose from in Big Bear its hard to become a "repeat stay" kind of place unless you stand out. Upon arrival we found that our front door code was not properly entered, leaving us standing on the porch calling the owner for further instruction. Once we got into the place it was as pictured on the site and very comfortable. The cleanliness was a little questionable as we found long hair here and there, food wrappers under the kids beds, no trash can liners in the bedroom cans, one roll of paper towels, one roll of toilet paper for each bath room, and corn cobs on the deck by the hot tub. The hot tub itself had a scum ring inside around the top and there was a home made marijuana pipe discarded on the side of the deck. There was a full load of laundry left in the dryer and no washing supplies were found. On a positive note, there were kids toys for my children to play with and there was wood for 3 nights. We will keep looking for that "return stay" cabin in Big Bear

The house was perfect for families. Plenty of room, amenities were nice, and quick response from owners when we had a question. My husband made a great area in the back for our 5 and 3 year to sled down. We did not have to go anywhere else as they had fun there.

This cabin was perfect for our family. The location is nice and hidden, very private and quiet. There is plenty to do down off of the main road. Close to the lake and trails. The cabin itself is so clean and has any and everything you could need or want. We were pleasantly surprised with all the kids toys as well as the crib. We played lots of pool, went in the hot tub and just explored. I would highly recommend this cabin to families, it's awesome! We will definitely be back to see the snow this winter!

Owners Brian and Teresa have done a phenomenal job with this place. Everything is clean and modern while still maintaining that "rustic/mountain" touch we are all looking for in getting away. All appliances worked flawlessly, bedding was great, everything was clean and neat. We celebrated my 30th birthday here in February.
Spent Saturday on the slopes, made homemade pizzas in the oven, played pool, drank wine, and relaxed in the hot tub that evening.
Doubled back for a half day of powder Sunday morning followed by some BBQ'd tri-tip and baked potatoes and a little Super Bowl 50 that afternoon.
I had an amazing weekend getaway with my Fiance and our closest friends + would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone in need of a medium sized Big Bear cabin near the slopes.

My boyfriend, cousins, and I all wanted a little get away and this home was perfect. It was beautiful and we'll taken care of. The only downside was that the hot but was not accessible but the owners responded quickly. I would definitely stay again
