About this house rental

Situated in North Beach Haven, this charming house for $350 per night is a great choice for your next break. Our charming 3 bedroom 2 bath cottage is affectionately known as "Buttonhouse". It is Oceanside, 2 short blocks to lifeguarded beach, and walking distance to restaurants! We are only available through VRBO or through personal friends (no craigslist, so beware if our post is seen elsewhere). Our newer home is just 4 steps up to the front door, so comfortable for the young and old alike! (yet no sandy damage!) The large great room with cathedral ceiling, and gas fireplace is open to the kitchen with island. Also in the great room is a dining area that seats 6. Front of home has a wall of windows with charming porch overlooking the Spray Beach Chapel (fun wedding season views!) The 3 bedrooms include a master bedroom with king bed, and full private bath (shower only). The second guest room has a queen poster bed, and third guest room has a twin bed with pull out, pop up trundle. (Can be put side by side to serve as a "king") There is a second bathroom (shower over tub) in the central hallway to serve the other two bedrooms.The washer/ dryer is in a separate closet in hall. The side yard, holds the outside shower, a shed for bicycle storage, a feet washing station, Outside dining table, chairs and benches, and weber gas grill. The front yard includes a circular patio with adirondack chairs...perfect for that late afternoon "happy hour". The entire yard is fenced adding an extra element of privacy, and safety for young children. Please note that, like much of LBI, high season requires a Saturday to Saturday stay (7 nights). LBI is especially beautiful in the off season. Our home has central heat, and a gas fireplace (super warm and cozy). Buttonhouse is open to shorter stays in the off season...perfect for quick romantic getaways or "girls weekends". Please call if you have any questions. Susan 732 5981984

We thoroughly enjoyed this rental. The house is centrally located and well maintained. We appreciated Susan’s attentiveness during a tropical storm during our stay, she was readily available to answer all of our questions. The main street, Long Beach Blvd, does flood during storms but the house and street near the property was dry and easily accessible. The owner even dropped off a welcome bottle of wine!!! Great weekend with friends!

The button house was comfortable for my spouse and two toddlers. The three bedrooms were perfect with plenty of space and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed on the trip. I liked that there weren’t a bunch of stairs to go up and down like many of the other rentals in the area. We spent a lot time out front enjoying the umbrella and chairs.

Everything about this property was perfect - size of house, it was spotless, 2 minute walk to the ocean, great property owners. I plan to definitely vacation here again. This home had everything I needed. Loved it!

Wide open living space and perfectly appointed bedrooms. The house was clean and comfortable and wasn't missing a single amenity. Fully fenced property and single-floor were perfect for my little kid and a grandparent. So close to everything Beach Haven has to offer. We will be back.

We loved staying at the buttonhouse. It is so well taken care of with beautiful landscaping. It was the perfect space for our family. We would take the short walk to the beach every day, and bike ride to restaurants and shopping in the evening. And then end the night sitting outside on the adirondack chairs, enjoying the quiet part of town.

The house is lovely, exactly as described, and immensely comfortable - perfect for hanging out with friends. Close to beach, bay and dining. A chance meeting with the hosts on the beach was fun - they are lovely too, and made us feel welcome and special. We'll be back!

I cannot say one negative thing about the owners, the property, the location, or the experience. It was delightful dealing with the upbeat owners, who made check in and check out a breeze. The property was immaculate and well-appointed. Open living area/kitchen. I have rented a great deal of houses on LBI and this one - by far - was the cleanest home and smoothest rental experience. Close to the beach, close to restaurants, excellent outdoor spaces and easy parking. Highly recommend to you (except for the week we are booking. hahaha)

We had the most wonderful stay at this lovely home in LBI! The location is fantastic - we went to the beach and we rented bikes - we did not want to leave! The home is super clean and so comfortable - we loved the adirondack chairs just outside the front door. Communications with Susan were outstanding!

This is our first time in the Button house and we really enjoyed our stay. The house is nice and clean. It has all the amenities i need for my family. The house is also 2 blocks away from the beach which is great for kids that always need to pee just when you’ve settled in on the beach! I would come back here again!
