Two-story house with two bedrooms and one-and-one-half baths, sleeps four comfortably (an Aerobed is available). This is the perfect house for an ocean getaway. Only steps from the beach, this freshly-remodeled home has a walk-around deck with an ocean view from the 'front porch.' Pick your relaxation - sit and sip on the deck while watching the activity at one of the Santa Cruz area's favorite beaches, or gather the beach chairs (provided) and the kids to enjoy being outside on this beautiful, long, wide, setting where the ocean meets the land! ***NEW*** Now has air conditioning!! Upstairs is the living area with a front room, kitchen, eating counter, and half bath. Downstairs there are two bedrooms and a full bath. The entire house has been renovated with granite kitchen and bathroom counter tops, new kitchen appliances, cabinets, and amenities. Very clean and comfortable. Just the right size, not too big, not too small! Picnic table on the deck along with a gas barbecue. Master bedroom has a queen-size bed, the other has a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and twin on top. Cable Flat screen TV, Blu-Ray DVD, Free WiFi. My family (husband, two daughters, and I) stayed at Mike and Cricket’s property for 3 nights. It was a perfect jumping off point for exploring the Central Coast. Beds and couches were comfy, kitchen stocked, lots of cozy little touches. I wish we could have spent more time in the house. Loved having ocean views. We had great food at Pixie’s across the street, and had ice cream twice at Marianne’s (2 min drive). We had a great stay!

We loved staying here! This was one of the only vacation homes we’ve stayed in that wasn’t full of tchotchkes to break or knock over on accident, but still tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The outdoor shower has warm water and so nice to use after a day at the beach! The upstairs deck wraps all the way around the house, and makes a perfect racetrack for a toddler.
Very comfy beds, well-stocked with condiments from past guests, and 10/10 communication from hosts. We plan on coming back!

It was a great experience for the whole family and convenient being walking distance to the beach and a perfect kitchen space and outdoor grill to save costs on meals. The house has a view of the ocean from the front deck and provides a very cozy space after adventures to Monterey and Santa Cruz. Great for a family or a couple! I recommend this VRBO and we will definitely be staying here again!

Great location and view right near the beach! Owners responded quickly to issues with VRBO, and they were very helpful. Comfortable and spotless home on the hill, with everything wé needed (from towels to condiments). Highly recommended home and owner!

We had such an amazing time staying at this property. It was a block away from the beach and across the street from Pixie Deli. The house was very clean and big enough for a family. I can’t wait to come back and stay at this property!

The house was as described is a beautiful seaside location. There was some work being done on the streets near the rental and Cricket was great at explaining what was being done and when. Very good communication.

Great family getaway!
Amazing house, so close to the beach. It has everything you need…utensils, bedding, towels, dishwasher, washer/dryer, TV in every room. The pilot light went out in the fireplace and the owners were super responsive. Definitely recommend.

Ocean View
We were pleasantly surprised how close we were to the ocean. You can see the ocean from the living room and the outside deck. It is such a quick and pretty walk to the beach. This house is located so close to everything-Santa Cruz, Monterey, etc. Aptos is a super cute town. The house is super cute and has everything that you could need. You won't be lacking for anything. The home is clean and furnishings are nice and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying in this home.

Easy 5-Star Stay
My wife and I are hard-wired to go into any VRBO rental with low expectations. I guess it's a way of somewhat guarding against mild disappointment. This property gets a 5-star rating from us in every category. First, a totally cute and comfy home that has been very well maintained. Second, it was "spic and span" clean. Third, it was very well stocked (i.e., kitchen gear, bath towels, beach-going stuff, etc.) We absolutely, positively LOVED our time in Aptos, CA, and this home played a LARGE part in it. Easy 5-star rating from us!! THANK YOU for a great time!

Love this place!
Our 3rd time staying here, and it was our best yet. Weather was amazing, so we were able to take full advantage of the 3 minute walk to the beach (really appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella!). This property really has everything you need - super clean, comfortable, and just feels like a wonderful oasis for relaxation the moment you walk in.
The owner was accommodating and thoughtful, as usual. We really do love this place!

We had a wonderful stay. This house is very close to the beach and a deli for breakfast and lunch. A short drive to restaurants and the grocery store. The house felt like a home not a vacation rental. Our son loved the bunk beds.

Another great stay
Our second time at this property and it was just as enjoyable as before. Super clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. The kids love the bunk bed, not to mention TVs in all the rooms :) Plenty of restaurant and grocery options nearby (and delivery service), so you have access to pretty much everything you need. And a 3 minute walk to that beautiful beach - glorious!
Also want to say how kind and thoughtful the owner is - she is always responsive, and goes above and beyond to be helpful and accommodating. Thank you, Cricket!
