Nestled in Door County, this charming cabin for $550 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Experience the warmth of a Hand-hewn Door county Log Home. The silence beckons you. Long peaceful afternoons in the county. Deer grazing just outside your window, crickets chirping in the twilight. Eighty acres of woods to explore. The main floor includes a king in the master with a full bath (including jetted tub). A queen off a half bath, a queen and two twins in the loft. The main floor also offers full laundry facilities, a fully equipped kitchen, field-stone fireplace in the living room, and satellite TV. In the heated carpeted garage there is a pool table, a foosball table,air hockey, folding tables and chairs. The unit has hardwood floors on the main floor, and is carpeted in the loft. The house has a wrap-around deck with furniture. The grounds include a fire pit with firewood, benches, picnic table, volleyball equipment , a charcoal grill and a gas grill. The driveway is paved with ample parking. The home is situated on a beautifully wooded landscaped parcel. It’s very peaceful. We were not given any information on how to get in the cabin. Doors were unlocked when we got there. No binder as to what was expected when leaving as far as stripping beds, sweeping, wifi password. Cabin needs a deep clean. Carpets need attention. Game room was not as described. No air hockey, pool table is in rough shape and Foosball table is held together with ducktape. The pinpong table is a board painted green on a wobbly small kitchen table. The cabin and senery in itself was beautiful. The rooms were spacious. Heating system is wonderful. I would recomend doing a few updates and it could be even better.

Stayed here on a girls weekend. Cabin is beautiful and cozy. We had a very large group and we had more than enough room to spread out and be comfortable. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The cabin is beautiful and clean. Plenty of room. Location was perfect...very peaceful and close to many things to do. We saw deer in the field next to the cabin. The host was very friendly. We definitely will be coming back.

Huge property with ample parking space. All the amenities I would expect (except towels, but this is noted in the listing). Main living room area has been somewhat improved since the listing photos were taken and looks somewhat more modern. The restrooms (especially master) have a very 1990's-esque "brass 'n glass" look but were functional. Owner's husband was friendly. Only complaint is there were ants which descended upon our donuts. They didn't bother us besides the donuts being a total loss. There were ant traps in the kitchen so this appears to be a known issue but I informed the owner upon checkout regardless for further investigation. Overall good property, I would consider staying here again.

This magnificent home is an ideal location for family and friends to gather. It is surrounded by woods and fields, and has a large outdoor firepit. The log home, build by hand, has three levels providing plenty of comfortable and relaxing space with all the amenities. We especially enjoyed the decks and balconies for bird watching and star gazing. The kitchen is large, with plenty of cookware and serving dishes. The owners warmly made sure we had everything we needed. The Honey Dew Lodge is the most magnificent home (rental or otherwise) you will find anywhere in Wisconsin.

Kim was very responsive and friendly to every request we made. Three families, three levels of space. This beautiful cabin surrouned by many acres of forrest was the perfect location for our entire family.

The cabin was beautiful! Lots of space for the whole family. Everything was very clean except for the garage/game room. Dirt seemed to be swept into the corners. We had great weather so didn't need to use it. The grill worked fine after we reattached several of the burning units. Loved the fire pit! Enjoyed watching the deer in the field across the driveway. PS: The windmill could use a little grease, very noisy when the wind blew-pretty though!

The home is beautiful with plenty of space for everyone. Beds are very comfortable. There is a game room and a kitchen on each floor. Towels are not provided and more instructions regarding heat, fireplace and television would be helpful.

My older kids and I really enjoyed the house. Lots of room to spread out. Fire pit was great. Lots of outdoor space and very quiet. Would definitely come back to this property.

The property had a great deal of room for many. Game room was a nice add. WiFi was not good in property. Wasn’t notified of check in until I messaged the morning of arrival, also was informed after we left home that bath towels were not provided. Overall a good experience and a great facility. My primary feedback would be to provide more timely and detailed communications prior to arrival, as well as to provide improved WiFi capabilities.

The house was much larger than we expected! we loved the log home design, with its cathedral ceiling and large fireplace in the living room. There is a great deal of common space, as well as many beds. There are kitchens on all 3 floors, which was not expected. Overall, we were pleased and enjoyed the house very much. The only downside was that the garage, which is converted into a game room, is clearly not cleaned by the cleaning staff. There was dirt on the floor, and a bad smell. We discovered two dead mice in traps, which we removed. We then used an air freshener. After that, we were able to enjoy using the pool table, which is a real asset!

Very nice property. Quiet wooded setting. Large log cabin with privacy for all. Would definitely stay here again! Only two suggestions would be to have a 3 ring binder explaining how some things work, like the space heaters, how to turn them on if needed and dos and don'ts at the lodge. Also I would update the hot tub if advertising it as available. We combined our stay with a Door County trolley tour. I highly suggest taking one of the trolley tours. We also paid a little more and had them pick up the 11 of us at the lodge. Well worth the extra money as we had a few cocktails on the tour. Thanks again to the owners as it was a wonderful weekend!!

Our friend group of 11 spent the weekend in Door County and rented Honey Dew Lodge as it would accommodate our large group. As noted in previous reviews with the basement and bathrooms, we experienced similar issues. We did not reach out to the property manager due to our short stay and we were busy exploring Door County than sitting at the lodge for them to be an inconvenience. Overall we had a nice stay, utilizing the game area at night and spending time in the living room playing games. The lodge worked well for our group as everyone had a space for themselves.

The Honey Dew Log Lodge is good for big families - both in terms of places to sleep and gathering for celebration. And although we would recommend the Lodge to other, large families, we note the following concerns: 1. it was difficult for us to regulate the temperature in the house, so it was too hot for most people to sleep comfortably; 2. the lower level smelled very stale/musty, which was difficult for a few of us who have allergies; 3. the beds are fine, but the pillows and mattresses should be replaced soon, and 4. the shower in the master bedroom on the first floor leaks to the lower level and has a very loose door, which we had to tighten before using.

Attractive and comfortable place for 3 generations family get-together. Kim answered all our questions, both emails before and phone calls during. Unbelievably well-stocked kitchen. The only real problem was accessing my reservation to check amenities and arrival details. Vrbo kept telling me my password wasn't valid and I had to reset. I never could get back to the amenities and details information.

The property was beautiful, location was perfect and close to everything. The host is very friend and attentive. Would definitely go back. The only thing I would like to change is that bath towels are included with stay. There is an extra 10pp towel service fee. Hard to lug tour own towels. Also, the master bedroom bed needs to be replaced.
