Located in Dollar Point, this attractive house for $585 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Placer County STR Permit #STR22-5711 Cancellation note: Prorated refunds past the cancellation period are issued if the property is able to be re-booked. See sample rental agreement for details. Lake Tahoe vacation rental on the north shore at Tahoe City in Dollar Point. Four bedrooms, loft, 3 baths (sleeps 8-10). Note: sleeps 8 in beds in bedrooms. Additional bedding includes: the couch (2), spare mattress (1 twin, 1 queen), a very small child bed and room for 2 guest supplied air mattresses in the loft. Beyond 10 people and you will feel crowded. Note: per Placer County short term rental policy enacted 4/1/22, occupancy is limited to 10 people after 9pm and 15 people during the daytime. Age 11 and younger are not counted. 400Mbps internet Fully stocked gourmet kitchen and linens. Large expandable dining table, extra kids table and chairs. 2' x 3' dog kennel. Stashed under king bed. Bring your own bedding. Filtered view of Lake Tahoe. Wood burning fireplace (not fake gas). Firewood is provided. Free door-to-door transit service! (Hours vary depending on season) Fully landscaped back yard with lawn. New Weber 4-burner BBQ (not available during Winter or during red flag warnings), fireplace, deck, patio, horse shoes, bocce ball, Spectrum cable TV , smart TVs (streaming) in all rooms, DVD, CD player, wi-fi high speed wireless internet access (400Mbps). Snow skiing: Squaw Valley (Palisades Tahoe) (8 miles), Alpine Meadows (Palisades Tahoe) (6 miles) and Northstar (13 miles). Water skiing, fishing, kayaking, crawdad fishing. Boat ramp 1 1/2 miles. Inflatables for the kids, beach chairs, umbrellas provided. Hiking, biking, x-country skiing and mountain biking trails within 1 mile. Gambling casinos 25 minutes away or a 1 hour drive to Reno or South Shore. World class golf, 30 courses 10 min. to 1½ hours away. Our home has a large back yard with a lawn. The yard is ringed with pines, quaking Aspens and natural foliage. Enjoy an evening game of bocce ball, throw darts or a round of horse shoes. We have a spacious patio with lounges and outdoor speakers. Dine outside on one of the many gorgeous summer evenings. Landscape lighting illuminates the trees all around. In the winter, build snow forts and unleash epic snow ball battles. Snow ball makers, sleds and snow provided. Note: Starting in 2021, the HOA members voted to make the recreational facilities available to members only. Sadly, the beach, pool and tennis courts will no longer be available to our guests. There are a few public beaches nearby and tennis courts at the North Tahoe Regional Park in Tahoe Vista (6 miles). A list of beaches can be found in our information binder at the house and emailed upon request. THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE. New, strict rules are in place for short term rentals with limits on the number of people, 10 after 9pm and no parking on the street. There is only room for three vehicles in our parking area but is not guaranteed. Winter storms may limit the available space due to heavy snow loads and the ability for us to hire a secondary snow removal company or your ability to shovel the sides. Our primary company only keeps 90% of the area clear. Size of vehicles may also limit access. Quiet hours are from 9pm - 8am. Fines start at $1,500 and repeat violations can result in revocation of our STR permit. We respect the integrity of our neighborhood and aim to be responsible owners.

Property as described, large kitchen and island well equipped and great for family cooking together. Large dining table easily seats 8 to 10. Cabin feel without being too rustic, homey decor. Parking tight for 3 vehicles as described , 3 would be difficult for large vehicles or lots of snow. Our family had a wonderful time in this lovely home.

Great place and an amazing location. We all had a great time even though it did rain and snow all weekend. We brought two puppies with us. They loved it!. Locked front deck and the dog leashes and the backyard made it easier for us. We will be back. The Casey family.

The home was well-stocked with everything you need to cook a meal. Lovely kitchen - super big. Beautiful view from the front porch - a great place to have morning coffee or breakfast. Home was a nice size with many beds! We could have included another family. Definitely go back again. Quiet location - just lovely.

This was a very comfortable experience, from making the reservation to our departure. The host made us feel welcome and the property was even better than advertised. The house was spacious, clean and has all the amenities to make it a very enjoyable weekend. The house is conveniently located next to nice trails for hiking and it’s a short drive to downtown for plenty of great restaurants. We really did enjoy our stay.

Clean, cozy and great for all ages! We did lots of cooking around the huge farm island, board games on the deck and darts tournaments in the backyard. Really nice and peaceful location, close to shopping and beaches, rafting and minigolf. We hope to come back here again!

We really loved the home. It really was well stocked. We found everything we needed to cook with in the kitchen. Plenty of garbage bags, paper products, awesome trash compactor, cards, book, games. Kids loved the tv in their room. Plenty of firewood with an awesome living room with fireplace. We really felt at home and just loved it! My girlfriend and I went to the nearby 7-11 for scratch off tickets because it was my birthday. We never do this so had everyone there laughing as it took us awhile to pick them out. My girlfriend won $10,000 on a scratcher!!!!! We took it in 7-11 to confirm and let me tell you, all the good lucks from the people there worked! And she only spent $14.00! The house was awesome and beds wonderful! What a trip😁

This cozy cabin has everything you need and I appreciated the dog friendly owner that was communicative. They even have a folding round table if you need it. Lots of sleds and things for winter and the kitchen/dining room are wonderful. Two main bedrooms downstairs with the upstairs having a room with a set of twin beds.

The house and location were both great for ourselves and two families. The kids played out back in the snow and access to skiing and the lake was easy. The house felt perfect and layout served the families well. We’d definitely stay again.

Beautiful, very well-stocked house. Its a shame the HOA no longer allows pool and beach access, but we were able to go down to Kings Beach each day and have fun.

We had a really nice time at the cabin. Great location with view of the lake. Kitchen is huge with plenty of space for all the chefs. Large dining table, firewood and a gas grill are wonderful! Cabin is comfortable enough to relax without feeling like you’ll mess something up. Weather was beautiful with a light snow shower one morning. If you’re on the fence about renting, just do it-you won’t be sorry!

We really enjoyed our stay at Le Shack! Mike responded quickly to questions and was super accommodating with everything...the dogs and early check-in when the home was unoccupied. The home is located in a nice community not far from the slopes. The kitchen was large and had everything needed for cooking. And the beds were comfy too. We had a great stay and would recommend this home! Thanks Mike!

The property was great! It was roomy and we enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was roomy and equipped with all we needed to cook delicious meals. We explored the area and visited many of the surrounding locations. The private beach was beautiful. The only issue we had was the pet dander/hair that was lingering on the mats and couches. We understand it is pet friendly but it would have been best if these areas would have been addressed a little better. Overall, the house was amazing and the experience was memorable. Thank you Mike you were a great host! We look forward to coming back soon. :)

Despite the challenges of Covid, fires, smoky air we had a great time in this house at this location. The house has everything you need and the location close to Lake Tahoe and all of its amenities gave us all lots to do. The strong WiFi meant my kids could do there distance learning (high school junior and senior) while we worked for a few hours. We will definitely come back! Thx for giving us a most needed respite.
