It was a perfect stay, the house met all our needs and we had a blast. The only thing was we forgot a bluetooth speaker and there wasn't one in the house. They had a great sound system and a bunch of cds to save the day. The house was so cozy and we would definitely stay again.

This was a scenic cabin, tucked away in a beautiful area of Galena Territory neighborhood. Private and beautiful. We loved it!

Two families with school age kids for fun over Memorial Day weekend. Plenty of room, linens, and good kitchen supplies. Appreciated the Kcup and regular coffee maker optionsl Enjoyed the deck in the evenings and the kids loved playing outside. It feels secluded as couldn't see other neighbors at least with the leaves on this time of year. Quiet street with access to unpaved trails. The firepit location and ambiance was a favorite! Kids enjoyed exploring the rocks' nooks and crannies beside it. The house is nicely furnished and supplied with things like marshmallow toasting sticks, no ice maker but there are ice trays so it works fine, etc. It is somewhat dated which we were fine with but may want to be aware, We did use the wifi for casual use and it was fine, Communication with the property managers was great. We did go to Owner's Club to use the pool which was full of people, but we still found chairs and the kids enjoyed. If you haven't looked up how The Galena Territory works would recommend doing that. We would stay here again and had a great time.

Kristen & Ginger who were in charge of the VRBO were absolutely the BEST to deal with. They made the trip effortless, they would respond same day if I had questions, they were informative, detailed & very kind. We literally couldn’t have had a better experience! The cabin was very clean & they had everything available in the cabin for us to make sure it was tidy.

Using the owners club was very nice-the pool was popular with our group-it was about a 4 minute drive-I don’t know if it’s walkable-we didn’t check out any of the wooded trails nearby. Multi-generational family vacation was enjoyed by all. A personal highlight was seeing grandma playing piano with one of the grands. Of the nearby attractions the goat trek was a highlight. We also enjoyed the alpine slide. Kristen was helpful before check in.

Great place. Well equipped. Very clean and no bugs or creepy crawler in the house despite being in the woods. Fireplace was great!! Beautiful log home, well kept! Big table was great for games and big dinners. Beds were all comfy. Only disappointment was the fire pit area and the deck furniture. We didn't use either as a result. Would rent again though.

We stayed at Boulder Creek for a quick family getaway and had the best time. It was just what our family needed. My husband and me, 3 teenage daughters, and in-laws enjoyed the rustic cabin theme set in a winter wonderland. The teens loved the “vintage” decor and technology. They enjoyed the large selection of DVDS and CDs that are from an era they don’t personally know. The house was perfectly stocked for making family meals. The house was close enough for skiing at Chestnut Mt and shopping in downtown Galena. Everyone would love to come back. Ginger was very helpful and responded quickly to questions. Thank Yiu.

Boulder Creek was perfect for our small family gathering, ages ranging from 23 - 84. Beautiful, cozy decor and setting, along with a well-appointed property. Given the Covid surge, we appreciated a place where we could just hunker down and enjoy each other's company. Communications were terrific. Wi-fi was strong enough for 4 people to work.

The house was as described and very easy to check into that first day. We did find a dirty towel on the stairs upon arrival and a few of the windows and patio doors had not been locked from past visitors. Otherwise everything was perfect and very comfortable for our stay over the weekend!

This property offered everything we were looking for. Tucked in the wilderness it was a quiet tranquil setting. The territory’s surrounding amenities allowed us to swim, horseback ride, hike, boat, play outdoor sports and so much more!!! The house was well equipped and very clean. We saw deer, wild Turkey, toads, birds and an assortment of other wild life.
