Nestled in Aptos, this attractive cottage for $295 per night is a great option for your next break. Pacific Oaks Vineyard Estate is pleased to offer our guest house for your serene and private get-away in an idyllic setting. The vineyard is located on a ridge 3 miles above Aptos Village and the beach. The guest house, on a second floor, has a stunning panoramic view of our vineyard, Monterey Bay and the Redwoods. Please review our Guest Room rental available for $225.00 per night (listing #: 739381) Check in is 1:00 PM; check out time is noon. Satellite television and flat screen TV. The home has recently been completely renovated with a new bathroom, wood flooring, beautiful furnishings, queen size bed, small kitchenette and wood burning fireplace. The studio is flooded with light from the numerous windows and vaulted 20 foot ceiling. A large deck is attached which overlooks the vineyard and is surrounded by old growth oak trees. A gas barbecue is included for your favorite steak or fish from Monterey Bay. A swimming pool, sauna and spa are available for your enjoyment. A portable twin bed & portable small crib are available. An additional adult or child has a $20 fee per night. A patio on top of our wine cellar is available for a wonderful evening relaxing, enjoying the view and sunset. A pool house has a large swimming pool, hot tub and sauna for your enjoyment and relaxation. Washing machine and dryer are included.

We loved the quiet and beauty of the property, as well as the comfy cozy studio and kitchenette. We slept well in the quiet and comfort! The hosts are extremely kind and accommodating. The pool, hot tub and sauna are exceptionally clean and beautiful. My daughter really enjoyed taking a dip in the pool to relax and unwind after big hectic days visiting with friends and family. I’d highly recommend! It’s a great value and a beautiful place to unwind ❤️

This is our second time staying in Aptos and we had such a relaxing weekend. The property is wonderfully set in a quiet location that is still close to the town and beaches. We are already planning to return next year!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was clean and pretty much as advertised. The check-in process was seamless and the TV, wi-fi, and other appliances worked with no issues. The only drawback was the very narrow and curvy road to reach the property. On the other hand, that probably is part of the reason it was so peaceful.

You can’t go wrong staying here. It’s perfect for a couples get away. Very comfortable, beautiful scenery, lovely owners. We will no doubt stay again when visiting family in the area. I didn’t want to leave.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the guest house. It had everything we needed and Judy was in contact a couple times prior to our stay. Arrived to find a bottle of wine left for us in the fridge. Place was very clean and well stocked. (even had my favorite Frontgate towels!) Gorgeous views and not too far from town. Pay attention to Judy's directions because our GPS told us we had arrived when we still had 1/2 a mile to go. Would not advise driving on the road leading up to the rental after dark and there was spotty cell service for a few miles until we got to the actual property. Would highly recommend a visit here.

We stayed for 7 days and had such a wonderful experience. The location is secluded and has amazing mountain and ocean views. The hot tub was a wonderful way to sooth sore muscles after a day of exploring the nearby beaches or forests. The guesthouse had everything we needed and our hosts were nearby if we needed anything extra (we didn’t). We enjoyed access to a washer and dryer as well! Aptos was a great location between San Francisco and Monterey. Would love to return again soon!

Beautiful and quiet family getaway
This was our family's first overnight vacation since COVID and what a great experience. The location is peaceful and picturesque and close (about 20 minutes) to the Santa Cruz boardwalk and beaches. The guesthouse was a perfect size for our family of three and had everything we needed. The pool house (with jacuzzi and sauna) was a big hit with our tween. Judy was a thoughtful and kind host. Oh, and can't forget Beau, the friendly outdoor cat that kept us company on the back deck. It was a great trip, and we'll definitely be back!

Judy has thought of every detail and makes you feel right at home. Her husband Peter is a hoot and we enjoyed talking with them, sharing stories over a glass of wine. I know they would have been fine too if we would have rather stayed to ourselves. The pool/hot tub was my favorite part!

Wonderful Getaway from City Stresses (Spa Weekend!) with Lovely Hosts
Judy and Peter's estate is sublime! From the amazing views to the deer walking in the yard to the sweet cat Beau who overlooks the grounds, my friend Judy-Cristina and I felt so lucky to have found this vacation rental!
We thoroughly enjoyed the grounds of the property and the swimming pool complex that included a jacuzzi and hot stone sauna (spa weekend = cold plunge in pool + jacuzzi/hot stone sauna)! We kept pinching ourselves the entire time!
The guest cottage was quaint, clean and fully stocked with everything we needed (I seriously over-packed, as this was my first Vrbo rental and I didn't know what to expect). We both slept so well after soaking in the amazing views, the serene quiet and the yummy Pinot Noir that Judy and Peter produce onsite!
Judy and Peter were there if we needed but otherwise kept to themselves. They struck the perfect balance and were lovely, gracious hosts!
This vacation rental is a rare find indeed and we will definitely be back if they will have us!

Although traveling up and down the mountain was a bit challenging, especially at night, it was worth it: lovely deck, beautiful pool, friendly cat, gorgeous views, very helpful hosts. We look forward to visiting again.

A great place to relax! Beautiful property with sunset ocean views. Lots of animal life wandering by--deer, turkeys, lots of birds (including an owl hooting in the night), and a bobcat. Beau, the cat is very friendly and will hang out on the deck waiting for company. The pool house is a gorgeous place to swim and hot tub. The studio is very homey with lots of windows overlooking the grounds. It is well appointed with lots of thoughtful touches. The wood burning stove keeps the place toasty on cold nights. The small kitchen is well stocked with utensils and such. There's a larger refrigerator in the garage with a freezer if you need it. There's a washer and dryer available as well. Great for drying swimsuits. No putting on a wet suit! The bathroom has a handheld shower and fluffy towels. The bed is comfortable and there are a variety of types of pillows to choose from. Judy is a welcoming host with good recommendations for hiking and places to go. The location is not far from Highway 1 and access the the redwood parks and the beaches. A special place to stay!

Amazing Retreat
We went to Judy's place for a retreat and that's exactly what we got. Their land and the guest house plus pool, hot tub and sauna were just so peaceful and beautiful! We feel truly grateful.

Nice studio close to Aptos
My daughter and I were brought to the area for a visit to Monterey Bay Aquarium.
The studio is very clean and well kept plus it has extra niceties such as a washer and dryer. There is a great indoor pool to swim in! Judy is very friendly and made us feel at home.

Once we got up to your property, it was so delightful quiet and relaxing. We loved it!
All four of us enjoyed our stay very delightful quiet. Sensational! Can’t think of anything and how you could improve the place. Just wonderful! The watch that you mentioned that was on the porch we saw the same leather watch, and it wasn’t ours . So I guess just hang onto it Judy, take care of yourselves.

This place holds a special place in my heart. My husband & I got married at Pacific Oaks Vineyard Estates; so it was only a matter of time before we came back to celebrate an anniversary here.
Judy (as always) is so sweet & welcoming.
The guest house itself was charming with perfect views, overlooking the mountains & the ocean from afar.
The grounds are so beautiful.. and the pool house.. my goodness. So fun to swim in.

A Very Peaceful Stay
My wife and I absolutely loved our stay here and if we decide to vacation in this part of California again we will definitely book here. Checking in and out was a breeze and Judy provided very prompt and courteous answers to the few questions we had. This place is truly on top of the world! The view is amazing! The guest house is very clean and cozy with a super comfortable bed. Everything about this place is just calming. Quiet and comfortable is the short description but there's so much more! We stayed in December and I can only imagine what it is like in the summer with the grape vines full of fruit and the flowers blooming. While we didn't spend a lot of time in the Aptos area, we did enjoy the Red Apple Cafe just down the hill twice for breakfast. They have a very substantial menu and the food was great.

Quiet vineyard escape
We were coming to the area for a driving experience at Mazda Raceway and found the perfect place to relax. Lots of wild animals ,a cute dog and a wonderful modern oasis in the small vineyard. Stayed for 4 Nights and felt comfortable. We used the pool and hot tub and the washer and dryer. Nice shower and comfy bed. Road in and out was one lane and a little hard at night. Judy was friendly and unobtrusive. Would recommend to anyone needing to stay in the area.

At the top of the hill, overlooking the vineyard, with distant views of the ocean. It's a very nice 1 bedroom studio, that is very comfortable. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Amazing place for a solo getaway
The guest house was a perfect place to spend a peaceful and relaxing weekend by myself. The cottage was lovely and very comfortable with great views. Judy's hospitality was impressive, as was the wine. I spent the weekend reading; hiking at the nearby Forest of Nisene Marks (a beautiful place); enjoying the wonderful pool, sauna and hot tub; walking on the beach; and enjoying the solitude. I will definitely return.

Lovely apartment, very well appointed. Bed was exceptionally comfortable. I was VERY pleased! I'm just sorry that the apartment doesn't have a second/separate room where my night-owl wife could watch TV long after I go to bed...but having been solo on this trip, the apartment was just perfect for my needs!
Through no fault of the owners, I spent the vast majority of every day with my sons and their families who live just 2 miles away. My boys have left academia and wind power management in order to rehab a 43 acre organic strawberry farm in Watsonville, so I have to apologize to Judy for the fact that she and her husband were subjected to having our various pick-up trucks and cars coming and going at all hours of the day and night.
And sadly, I was too busy to even have a chance to use either the hot tub or sauna!!
I must say how impressed I am that Valencia School Rd doesn't get blocked off more often than it does by rain-soaked falling trees! The one time I got stuck, the truck immediately behind me was a firewood vendor (!), but his chain saw was on another job! I managed to turn my little Subaru around and head down the opposite side of the mountain, but I'm not at all sure how he got his big rig out of there in a timely fashion. Such is the joy of country living, something we Mainers understand all too well...
Bottom line: I'd recommend this rental property HIGHLY!

Hidden gem! Beautiful, quiet, peaceful location. Great amenities; nice deck with table, pool and hot tub, kitchenette! Short drive to hiking, Aptos restaurants, and wine tasting. Helpful and sweet hostess plus their own vineyard wine is great too! Will definitely be back!
