About this house rental
Nestled in Dauphin Island, this attractive house for $450 per night is a great option for your next break. HOUSE FEATURES: Three bedroom beach front with ocean views, like new home. This is the perfect vacation rental, great for families or couples. The interior is spacious with an open concept living area. There's plenty of outdoor space with great views! Listen to the waves crash in as you fall asleep or take a nap on one the wrap around porch. Watch the sun set over the west end from the porch or as you walk along the white sandy beach. This is a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath house on Dauphin Island which sleeps 8. Enjoy the quiet southern lifestyle of one of the last Gulf islands to remain unaffected by commercial tourism. ***GREAT BEACH FOR KIDS*** FURTHER DETAILS: Plenty of comfortable furnishings and a table that will seat the whole group! Large table that seats 8 plus 3 additional stools at the kitchen bar. Perfect for lunch or snack after time out on the sand. The house is fully furnished with bedroom TV's and a large TV in the living area. Wi-fi is available. Outside is a porch that wraps to the east, south amd west. Ample space offering both covered and uncovered options for lounging. Views of the Gulf of Mexico as well as views of the Mississippi Sound. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning as you listen to the waves roll in or watch the sun set in the west over the Island. The back porch offers full sun or shade as it is partially covered. Only have to cross white sand from the porch to the Gulf of Mexico. No roads…with views of the Gulf. This means no putting on shoes or loading the car to head to the beach…it’s all right there!!! The kitchen comes fully stocked with dishes, utensils, pots, blender, coffee maker, etc… and has a four burner stove with electric oven. A double sink, dishwasher and refrigerator/freezer w/ icemaker are also featured. The spacious master bedroom has a king size bed! The master bath features a large soaker tub, a walk-in shower and double sinks. The jack-and-jill style bath in between the other 2 bedrooms also features double sinks and a tub/shower combo. ISLAND INFORMATION: Dauphin Island is very laid back & non-commercialized, but has shops, a grocery store, bakery & several restaurants ranging from pizza, ice cream and burgers, to great seafood and steaks. Island is accessible by bridge. Gulf Shores & Fort Morgan are only a few miles away & are accessible by auto ferry (makes a great day trip). For attractions, visit the Sea Lab, historic Fort Gaines, view birds and wildlife & explore secluded beaches at the Audubon Sanctuary, fish on the beach, charter a boat for sightseeing or deep-sea fishing, swim, bike, walk, collect shells, or JUST RELAX! ADVANCE RENT: ONE-HALF of rental rate is due at booking. ONE-HALF of rental rate is required 45 days prior to check in. There is a 30 day cancellation policy on all rentals. We accept: personal checks and credit cards (via VRBO, PayPal and Venmo). ALL RESERVATIONS WILL BE CHARGED A CLEANING FEE ($150). DEPOSITS A $500 DAMAGE/SECURITY DEPOSIT is required for all rentals and is due with the second half of your rent 45 days prior to arrival. It is fully refundable if conditions are met. Deposits are returned to you through your method of original payment approximately 7 days after check out. GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR DAMAGE DEPOSIT REFUND Including but not limited to the following: * No Damage to House * No missing or broken items. * No more than the maximum number of occupants in the property. * Property is left reasonable clean, no dirty dishes, all trash taken to outside containers, in general just general tidying of the property. We reserve the right to deduct excess cleaning & damage charges from the deposit. PETS: THERE IS A PET FEE OF $100. * Dogs must be under a pest management system for fleas and ticks. * Do not allow your dog onto the furniture. Please use the extra throws to cover our white slipcovered furniture to keep it pet hair and stain free. * Please ensure that your dog does not chew on the furniture or other items. * Please, please, please bring a pooper scooper. Pick up after your dog. Children like to walk and play in the sand. * Dauphin Island has a leash law. Dogs must either be on a leash or be under voice command at all times. Call or email for more info. CANCELLATIONS: DEPOSIT & ADVANCE RENT are refundable, if reservation is canceled 60 days prior to arrival. We will also refund if we can re-book the property. A $25 processing fee is charged on all cancellations. * THE RENTAL WEEK IS SATURDAY TO SATURDAY. * CHECK IN 3:00 PM -- CHECK OUT 10:00 AM. * ALL RATES ARE SUBJECT TO AN 11% LODGING TAX

We came for a Christmas trip. Everything was clean & decorated so nice. We absolutely enjoyed our stay.

House was very clean. Nicely decorated & updated furnishings. Kitchen had everything you need with regular and Kuerig coffee pots. We loved the huge porch. There was plenty of outdoor seating. There is a large amount of toys for kids to use at the beach. There is also plenty of beach chairs to take to the water. Very few people at the beach & we saw dolfins every morning. Pet friendly home and beach. Great location and nice home. We will return soon!

Wonderful place to stay! Plenty of room for our family of 6 and two of their friends. Everything was easy, especially having the beach only steps from the house. Water and weather was perfect. Tons of beach toys and chairs. Very comfortable beds. Lovely decorating. Wi-Fi on the island was spotty, but who cares when the beach is calling! It was enough to get a little necessary work done and watch movies. Such good memories were made. This was our first time on Dauphin. Grew up going to Sanibel, but due to last year’s storm, our island was not habitable this summer. We would definitely consider Dauphin Island again! Only not so great things were some of the dishes weren’t super clean and on some days folks parked their cars on our road and used our beach access, but that’s not the owners’ fault!

We had a great time. The only problem was the dryer. It did not work well. It took 2 hrs to dry a load of towels. We washed what we could. I think the dryer needs to be replaced it’s a little old.

This home was really beautiful and well equipped. The views and being right there on the beach was fantastic. Even though it was probably the coldest it has been at Dauphin Islancd in a while we still had a wonderful time. Kristen the owner was wonderful. Ww will be returning in 2023. Loved it!!

This property was wonderful with a breathtaking view. Beautiful spacious home. Internet would work most of the time. Only draw back that we had was paying a cleaning fee but asked to do the laundry(wash, dry & put away towels). Dishes washed and put away not in dishwasher where you know they are clean. What is our cleaning fee for?

The property and surrounding area were absolutely beautiful! All the imenities we could possibly need. Close to shopping and restaurants. Quiet area with a beautiful view of the gulf and white sand just feet away to soak in the sun and sounds.

The process of renting and getting in was very simple. The home was comfortable for a beach house with lots of amenities. There is a Keurig coffee maker now besides the drip coffee pot if you want to bring K cups. The park at the west end of the road provides access to the bay side which is calmer if wind is from the south. On weekends there is someone there collecting admission ($10 a carload) but not on weekdays. Fort Morgan is definitely worth the trip by ferry for history buffs.

This house is everything it shows that it is, the weather could have been better, but for February we'll take it, especially when we came home to snow and ice. This house is amazing, clean and everything you'd hope for, we even saw dolphins swimming past the beach...... no one wants to leave here when it's time to go!

Our vacation start not in perfect way, but I still would give host 5 stars, just because it was handled great. If the place would have Kuetig or Nespresso coffee machine, I would give it 6 stars, thank you Kristen).
