About this house rental
3.5+ Month Renovation Completed in March 2026!!!

Our 4 BR/3BA 1700-square foot open floor plan one-floor home is on the west end of Dauphin Island with a well-equipped kitchen, and amazing views of both the Bay and Gulf. We can accommodate 8 Adults if someone sleeps on the pullout couch (must stay below 150lbs on the top bunk).
Included at our house is Xfinity’s highest speed internet WiFi for streaming (or work…). New washer/dryer. Great room has large flat screen with Roku. Dining/Kitchen has large TV with blu-ray/DVD player, and Roku. An additional portable TV is onsite, too. Gas grill out back with outdoor table/chairs, chaise lounges, etc.
On a half-acre, our home has its own private sandy beach front perfect for playing or sunning, and a pier/dock where you can fish, swim, crab, or just chill. Bring your boat or wave runners! We have a lift on our pier, too. For those who haven’t visited Dauphin Island before, the Bay side water is calmer and safer for families with younger children and our pier has a swim-up ladder at the end, but if you want the waves, you have private Gulf access right across the street! Use our beach wagon to pull your cooler and gear, or just drive over. We also provide three FREE kayaks and paddles for your use (2 singles and a tandem) - very relaxing to get out on the water on the Bay side. We have a beach tent, coolers, beach towels, and chairs. We’ve also accumulated a bunch of beach toys – buckets, boogie boards, etc, for your use - and a couple fishing poles, too. Completely loaded for a great day at the beach.
Master bedroom has a King bed, Master Bath, and private sitting area. Second bedroom has a Queen and shares a bathroom with the bunk room, third has two twins and private bathroom, and fourth has a bunkbed (no one over 150lbs on top bunk). There is a sleeper sofa with an upgraded memory foam mattress that is actually very comfortable. We provide fresh linens for every reservation, including fresh comforters (from our years of renting, we’ve found out that not many rental properties do).
And don’t forget Puppers!!! We are dog friendly!
Dauphin Island has so much to offer: great restaurants, beautiful beaches, the Isle Dauphine Golf Club, a small aircraft airport, and an Audubon Bird Sanctuary that has a 2.5-mile trail that empties out onto a beautiful beach where you won’t find a lot of people. You can also visit historic Fort Gaines on the island. There is a ferry that travels between Dauphin Island and Gulf Shores if you’re wanting to explore. If you’re an avid golfer, the Robert Trent Jones Trail begins about 30-minutes away in Mobile. And the USS Alabama is docked in Mobile Bay if you want to tour.
There is a dog fee and security deposit. Additional dogs are $15/night.
If there are any special requests, just ask us. A discount may be applied for stays of 28 days or longer during non-peak season.

Our stay was perfect. The house had everything we needed to cook our own meals and everything our teenage kids needed to fish and have fun on the gulf side. Our dog, Remy loved the boardwalk out to the dock and playing in the sand. We got the both of best worlds with the bayside and being so close to the gulf side. We made memories and relaxed. Thank you for making our stay absolutely wonderful and opening your home to our family and our pup.

Lovely home on the bay side of Dauphin Island. This home is large, updated and has everything you will need to have an amazing vacation. The hosts have thought of everything and checking in and out is a breeze. The is the second time we have stayed here and it has yet to disappoint. We love using the kayaks and swimming and fishing in the bay as well as long walks on the beach. Dauphin Island is dog friendly and so is this listing. We love it here and plan to return.

Everything about this home was great. The view to the bay was stunning. The dock was really great! Covered and great for fishing. Stocked with everything you could need. Very clean! Beds were super comfy. Kayaks were fun. Plenty of gear for whatever beach activity you might wamt to do. Short walk to the beach. We'll be back!

Amazing bay views! Sunsets, dolphins, boats, sea birds, and the gentle sound of water meeting sand. What more could we ask for?! House was comfortable with everything we needed for our week stay. Short walk to the gulf. Host was amazing with quick texts to our many questions. Highly recommend the Islanders restaurant, Pirates Pizza, and the bakery. We will be back!
