We have been traveling to Fort Myers for several years. This property has everything we needed. Short walk to the beach, hot tub and pool provided great hang out time during the day. We had a vehicle to drive to excellent restaurants, but there is a trolley and tram. The hosts are responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. The island is still recovering from hurricane Ian, but there is plenty to see and do.

Very well decorated, the owner was excellent at staying in touch. Only complaint would be not able to turn the A/C lower than 73. It is locked so you can not. Wasn’t terrible but I’m very hot natured and sleep with mine set to 67. Even so, we still enjoyed the place and didn’t loose sleep over it

Quiet neighborhood , everything was exactly what was listed, I had a little trouble with the lock and the owner contacted me immediately and we were able to take care of the issue! I would highly recommend and would rent it again in the future!

This property was exactly as advertised. With an amazing covered onsite pool and spa. The hosts were also amazing and responded to our requests in a timer manner. Would recommend this boat and property to anyone looking to vacation in South Florida.

My little brother and I decided to take vacation to fort myers from September 22-26th. The first 5 days of the vacation we fell in love with fort Meyers beach and the house in which we rented while on vacation. From the beginning Dorothy and her husband Chuck were just awesome to work with while planning our vacation. They offered great tips for local restaurants and things to do while on fort myers beach. On September 26th the day we were supposed to leave my little brother and I got stuck on fort myers beach during hurricane Ian. We had no way at the time of getting of the island. We didn’t rent a car while there and our flight back to colorado was cancelled and no Uber drivers were willing to come to the island prior to the hurricane arriving to get us closer inland. I called the owner Chuck and he said we could stay at the house free of charge. My little brother and I at this point we’re not to worried about the hurricane hitting along with half the people on the island so we were just thankful to have a place to stay until we could finally get back home or at least to the airport. The next day hurricane Ian came through leaving the island a total disaster to say the lease the entire time both Chuck and Dorthy called on us numerous times to make sure we were alright. They stayed up late into the night just to make sure they heard from us. My little brother and I were nothing but two complete strangers to Chuck and Dorothy who were just renting their house from them for a week away from Colorado. After the hurricane I felt like we were lifelong friends the entire time. Not only is the house absolutely beautiful and amazing. Chuck and Dorothy are two of the most genuine people I have ever met and can not wait to meet them one day and go back to their wonderful house for another vacation in the near future. Nick T.

Exceptional place with everything one would need. Our family enjoyed it all, big place with lots of space. Quite street and canal. Close quick walk to the beach. We got out and fished close by. Everyone liked the big pool and hot tub. The restaurants neer by all were great and no waits. Stores close by without having to run through traffic. And Dorthy is a 5star host at making sure everything was up to par. As a family that Vacations in the area every year this place is hard to beat.

House was great, clean and in a great location! The pool and hot tub were perfect. House has everything you need and more. It is just a short walk to a very quiet almost deserted beach. We would definitely come back in the future.

The home is in a great, quiet neighborhood, walking distance to a lovely public beach that was never crowded (weekdays) and access to a canal that leads out to the Bay side for boating and kayaking. The house is beautifully decorated and helpfully labeled . For example, all of he light switches are labeled. Dorothy was very responsive via email at any time I had a question, and was always helpful and attentive in her responses. Three bedrooms allowed us to spread out. We had the shared deck and pool area to ourselves as the renters in the adjoining unit left the day we arrived and it was vacant the rest of the week. Just an amazing, relaxing, beautiful home. Everything we wanted, needed and expected and more! Will definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family!

This property was enjoyable! Only problems were regarding the air conditioning (did not allow to go below 71, which meant 73 on most days, making it difficult to sleep some nights). The only other suggestion would be to keep staple items such as seasonings, cooking spray, etc just for guests to avoid buying it all. Otherwise, the house has everything needed including toys, wagons, chairs, etc!

We had a fantastic time at the home. The property was clean and beautiful. The canal out back was amazing. There were jelly fish under the dock, a baby cow and mama manatee swam came by several time. We had a little crab visit us in the pool and a lizard :). The house was great for kids both big and small. We will be back.

We had a wonderful time at this property! It's a short walk to the beach, which was in an area that was not crowded. There was plenty of equipment to use at the beach- carts, chairs, umbrellas, coolers, etc. The kitchen was well equipped, and we enjoyed many meals there. The pool area is beautiful with a view of the canal, and the lanai overlooking it was a great place for enjoying morning coffee. We will definitely consider returning!

This cute 3 BR home is a 5 minute walk to a very quiet and peaceful beach. Dorothy has everything you could need for kids at the pool and beach as well as carts to easily get items to the beach. Dorothy was excellent. This property is a double so you most likely will be sharing the pool and hot tub as well as the common patio area with the other renters.

My family of 5 had a wonderful time and enjoyed the lovely, well appointed home. We loved the pool and hot tub and used them daily. We used the grill and ate dinner many nights poolside at the patio table. We were able to walk down to the beach access point at the end of the road within 5-10 minutes and found we loved the beach and shelling more than any other beaches we visited during our stay. There are many pool/beach toys and beach chairs the owners have provided for guests to use. We liked being a little way down from the noise and traffic at the north end of the island, but could still easily enjoy the activities and restaurants nearby. We enjoyed having our morning coffee on the balcony right outside the bedroom that overlooks the pool and lanai. We really enjoyed our stay and we highly recommend the property.

Located about mid-island, away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to everything. Beach a short 2 block walk although not the best beach, but still clean, quiet and relaxing. Towels, chairs and carts available which helped out. Easy access to the house via your own code. Owners readily available via text, email, phone call or VRBO app. The maid was late cleaning, however the owners let us check in earlier that usual, so it wasn't an issue. Very accommodating to our flight schedule. Our only issue is the local ordinance regarding the 10pm quiet time and pool use, because we really enjoyed the pool and spa, and an extra hour would have made it perfect! We would definitely return to this property if we return to Ft Myers Beach!
