About this house rental
This is a 30 night minimum rental. Escape to your own private, sophisticated cottage retreat on a gated property in the estate area of Pebble Beach. A quiet space to relax, renew and restore--and maybe write the next New York Times best seller!
Enjoy the perfect Towne and Country retreat just three minutes up the forested drive from the Lodge and Golf Course at Pebble Beach with its Spa, , exclusive shops and five star restaurants serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Downtown Carmel is only seven minutes away and the world renowned Monterey Bay Aquarium is just fifteen minutes away.
The location affords quiet seclusion, but is accessible for grocery and restaurant deliveries. Whole Foods is an easy ten minute drive to the Del Monte Shopping Center.
This one bedroom-one bath cottage features an office-living room with a eleven foot granite computer workspace, WiFi and built-in USB ports, a hand-chiseled stone gas fireplace and a 50" television with DirecTv and DVR.
The full kitchen has granite counters, custom cabinetry, a 32" television, stainless steel appliances, microwave, toaster, toaster oven, electric tea kettle and a Nespresso machine with an extensive coffee and tea collection.
The bedroom features a mahogany California King-sized bed with a pillow-top Stearns and Foster mattress and luxury linens. Built-in USB ports on either side of the bed allow you to charge your phone or work on your laptop. This room also has a 50" television and stereo receiver, DirecTv and DVR. The clearheart redwood panelled walls, original vintage artwork and hickory flooring contribute to a crisp and yacht-like atmosphere.
The bath has Brazilian marble countertops with double sinks, a five foot cast iron tub and separate walk-in shower. There is also a full-sized washer and dryer.
The charming, private brick patio garden includes an old world fountain and a table with umbrella and chairs for a delightful outdoor experience.

We stayed in the Country Cottage Retreat 30 days in April/May 2026 and found the rental very quiet, and cleanest rental we have ever had. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for a 30 stay.The owners met and welcomed us at the entrance to the property and subsequently gave us a detailed tour and explanation of everything we needed to know. Further, when we needed to communicate with them their response time was outstanding.There were beautiful plants throughout the property and a joy to look at through every window of the cottage. Outdoor patio had a fountain and there was a fountain at the entrance of the cottage as well as others along the paver brick walkway from the parking area to the cottage.The owners also gave us cleaning service including laundering of all bed linens and towels several times during our stay at no extra charge to the original cleaning fee.We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone planning a 30 day stay on the Monterey Peninsula. We will definitely stay here again.

This property was most likely the nicest, quietist, cleanest and most beautiful one that I've ever stayed. I've stayed in various VRBO, etc. rental companies and locations (including in Europe since 201). It is incredibly beautiful and peaceful and in the best neighborhood I've ever stayed. The hosts (Stef and Thea) were incredibly helpful, warm and generous I've ever had as well. You cannot go wrong in choosing this property.
