This home had so much beauty to behold, both inside and out. It was a perfect place for our family Thanksgiving break with the beach nearby, we could walk to the shore, cup of coffee in hand, and enjoy the Butterfly Beach morning and night. The sunsets were my fav!

Perfect stay. The house exceeded expectations and they were already high! The location could not have been better and the garden was an inspiration. The house honestly made this the best family vacation we’ve done. Sandra’s communication was fabulous and she was so helpful working with us. Just a top notch experience.

House was equips with games, ping pong, croquet, some arm weights, pool floats and all beach supplies so easy to access. We loved our stay here. Walked to beach and Montecito. Easy 6 minute drive to Santa Barbara. Best vacation we’ve had in years w out 5 kids, age 16-25.

Outstanding! The Butter Fly Beach House is spectacular in every regard. My family of five has been using Vrbo for many years, and we've rented houses in Hawaii, both coasts, the mid-west, Barcelona, Madrid, and Florence, but this Montecito property is the single best Vrbo home we have ever rented anywhere by a landslide. It's the perfect place for a family, with an incredible attention to detail. I'm a 60-year old lawyer and law professor who preaches attention to detail to students and younger lawyers as the key to success in any profession, and Sandra (the owner) has mastered that in her industry. The architecture and house are gorgeous (I want to buy it!), the gardening is superb, the interior is perfectly appointed and equipped with everything you might need, and the location is perfect between Butter Fly Beach and Coastal Village Road. Just superb in every regard. Sandra is delightful to work with, and we can't thank her enough!

Once again, Butterfly Beach House was the best rental for our family celebration. Four bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and everything you could need for relaxing time. Great appiances, beach gear, plenty of towels, well stocked kitchen utensils and pots, lovely outdoor spaces as well as beautiful common areas inside. Our host was all ready for us but did not bother us at all. A perfect spot for all ages to hang out together.

This home was so beautifully decorated and inviting. We just relaxed for five days. The beach is a few minutes walk down the street and very good restaurants are a ten minute ride in your car. There is a lovely pool in the back yard and the garden is amazing.
All in all a perfect home to rent.

We enjoyed cooking together in the well-stocked kitchen, and hanging out together in the comfy living room. The fog was unexpected but we kept warm! Our beds were very comfortable and the greenery outside as such a welcome morning surprise. Best of all, Butterfly beach is a 3 minute walk-we explored the lovely seashore and swam once when the sun came out! Would definitely return!

This is a Happy feeling and inviting place with country french appeal and well lit manicured grounds and pool. A short walk to Coast Village Road and the beach. This was our first stay but look forward to future visits. Thanks Sandra!

Butterfly Beach House was as terrific as we had hoped. The location is convenient to everything we wanted, beach and proximity to Santa Barbara and Montecito. The property is well maintained both inside and outside. All the features exceeded our expectations. Our stay was most enjoyable. The highlight of our vacation. A great get-away for the family who thoroughly enjoyed the activities provided by the owner. the proximity to Butterfly Beach and also the the village for dinners made this a relaxing and enjoyable time.

This is a very special property, very European in feel. Location is superb. Fully equipped for any of your needs. Our host was especially thoughtful and responsive. Our group had several activities planned, however we cancelled most of them just to stay at this home and enjoy its ambience. We look forward to our return visit.

The gardens are inspiring and a true slice of heaven. The short walk to the beach is a breeze. The host is very thoughtful and kind. You do need to keep your pup quiet and for happy dogs that took a watchful eye. Everything is well stocked and comfortable. Our nickname was The Italian Villa, truly lovely.

This is a great property as the location is very convenient to the Montecito Lower Village and only a few yards to Butterfly Beach - one of the best beaches in all of Santa Barbara County. The grounds at the home are amazing with multiple seating options, plenty of room for lawn games and relaxing outside. The pool is an added benefit and is perfect for families. Sandra has the house stocked with all of the necessities needed for an extended stay or for a long weekend. The linens, towels and all of the appliances, etc. are upscale. What a wonderful two months we had in Montecito!

I am not sure I can really even describe this wonderful home and the experience we had. Our family of four spent 8 extraordinary days on Butterfly Lane. Sandra made everything from start to finish just so perfect and amazing. Every detail, and more!, was covered. The house, the grounds, the location to the beach and Coast Village Road, was so so so perfect. This home was magical. We loved the charm and attention to every detail in every single room. The grounds are so beautiful and with the magical twinkling lights, we could have stayed outside all night! Sandra was the most gracious host in every way. She could not have done more to make our stay any more wonderful and special. We were spoiled to stay the least. Thank you Sandra for everything! And we cannot wait to come back! XO

This breathtaking home is far better than the pictures!! Truly magical!! Aside from it being ideally located just 4 houses up from Butterfly Beach, a couple houses from the tunnel that takes you under the freeway and lands you right there on Coast Village Rd. where all the great restaurants and shops are located, it is so special that we hardly wanted to leave the grounds ever!The house is bright, sunny, whimsical & spacious with cozy nooks inside & out in which to gather with family/friends or all alone to read a book or have a nice glass of wine that wonderful Sandra (our hostess) gifted us with.Sandra, the owner/hostess, is always available and responsive & makes sure her house is stocked with all sorts of luxuries and hidden pleasures and treasures. She is fanatical about all being in perfect working order. And as perfect as everything is, it's inviting, charming and comfortable. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable...I wrote to Sandra to ask her the brand of mattress. For the 1st time in ages, I woke up refeshed with no back or neck pain!!The outside gardens are breathtaking! Outdoor seating is abundant; patio/bbq area with twinkly lights; pool and lounge area lovely; a putting green and lots of outdoor toys that Sandra gifts to your kids upon arrival. I tell you, everything we could need, this home offers. Our grandkids had a blast!!I could go on and on but will stop with tese few teasers. We will definitely go back with our family in the very near future. What a treasure!!
