Comfortable sitting area offering cable TV and Wi-Fi. The kitchen includes all the amenities from home. The king size bed has a gel/memory foam mattress., and heated mattress pad for those cold Salida nights. Private off street parking for one vehicle. Patio with fire pit available to relax and unwind, and enjoy the Salida cool evenings. Located just one and a half blocks from the Arkansas River and beautiful downtown Salida, you have numerous restaurants to choose from, including the casual along the river to fine dining. Numerous art galleries to explore, and shopping to capture everyone's taste and style. Sip your way through Salida's distillery and numerous micro brews. You are just minutes away from the best outdoor adventures Salida has to offer, including mountain biking, kayaking, fly fishing, rafting, hiking, soaking in nearby hot springs, and in the winter come ski or snowboard our local Monarch mountain! What a perfect cottage to stay...walking distance to the awesome downtown area..tasty eats & loved watching all the surfers down by the river walk... They cottage was supplied with more than you could need..very clean * they have a beautiful flower garden as well..

Very cute little cottage with a wonderful garden area which we really enjoyed sitting in after an afternoon of exploring and in the evening around the firepit. Location was great for being able to walk into downtown Salida and the river. Would highly recommend!

Hard to find but was given specific written directions from Host. Small, cute cottage with a so comfy bed! We spent two nights for a wedding. The cottage had air conditioning to allow us to get ready. Nice Patio. Walking distance to everything.

Great location, clean and well stocked. It was in the 90's when we visited and the kitchen window A/C did not keep the bedroom cool during the day, but once the sun went down it cooled down nicely.

Dave and Beth were very friendly and helpful with recommendations. The beautiful garden patio was fun to hang out and enjoy. They let us park our rented bikes there also. Cottage had everything we needed in the kitchen and bath. It was clean and has an A/C window unit for warm afternoons. There is a view of S mountain out the kitchen window and easy walking/biking distance to river, dinner, shoppping, hiking, etc… We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere of the town. We enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean, quiet and safe. Very close to the main street of town. The bathroom is functional but very small. (Size for one user at a time). But the over all experience was a winning combination. Very would stay there again.

The only negative things I can say about this property are that it is very small, and the bathroom is cramped. But it was adequate for my needs, and it had everything I needed. The hosts were very accommodating and responsive. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept very well.

First time in Salida visiting family that just moved to town. Nice town and great location within walking distance to downtown and many good restaurants and bars. Place was clean and has everything you need for 1-2 people in charming cottage. Comfortable bed. Would recommend and stay again.

The location is about as good as it gets. A short walk to town (2-3) minutes. Heat worked great, bed was comfortable, and it had all the basics I needed, including coffee. Wonderful stay in a charming and clean place in Salida. Would definitely recommend staying there.

The cottage was perfect for a couple get-away to Salida! We found the space cozy, the bed extremely comfortable, and the outdoor garden was perfect for morning coffee or evening star gazing. The location is very close to both downtown and the river – just a quick walk. There are so many coffee shops, restaurants, and breweries within just a few minutes of the cottage. The residential neighborhood is very quiet. We wouldn’t hesitate to return for another stay!

We loved EVERYTHING about this property. It was perfect! Location was within walking distance of amazing restaurants, unique shopping by local artists and even a couple of good thrift shops, distillery, walking trails, bike rentals, etc. Hot springs within. 25 min. The garden at the VRBO was beautiful, the hosts were very friendly and accommodating, wildlife in the area, etc. So much to do and enjoy. We would DEFINITELY stay here again.

Great casita in a great location. The cottage had everything we needed for a fun little 2 night stay in Salida. Extremely comfortable, nicely furnished, and well equipped with all the necessities. Just a short walk to town will provide you with all Salida has to offer - great little shops, studios, restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, and the river to play in, or just sit and watch. Great stay !
