We had such a lovely stay at Casa Mech - Mauricio was a fabulous host giving us lots of local tips! This small boutique-feel hotel is perfectly located for exploring Isla Holbox and being close to the centre of town. No need for golf buggy taxis when you’re so perfectly located! We had a great stay, we will definitely be back!

Very chilled place. The room was lovely and clean and there are very few mosquitoes compared to other places. Mauricio, the host, is a top guy, very helpful and welcoming. He sorted tours for me and did everything to make the stay a great one. The pool at the top is nice and chill and there is free coffee and fruit every morning.
Shower pressure could be a little stronger and beds a little softer, but neither are major issues.

The rooms are clean and quite comfortable for a short stay.
Nobody was at the reception when we arrived, even though we informed the hotel about our arrival time. Also during our stay, the reception was always unattended. If you needed something, there was nobody you could ask for help.
