About this house rental
Situated in Tofino, this lovely house for $292 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. THIS HOUSE is located in a quiet forested location which is in a private low density community located 900 meters from South Chestermans Beach, and is very close to Rosy Bay, and Cox Bay. It's only a 9 minute drive to famous Long Beach. Tofino's town centre is 7 km from this property and there is a small(tiny) shopping centre 3 km away where you can get fast food(Wild Side Grill), surf rental and gear and a variety of other items. The house sits on a 3/4 acre forested lot and has three bedrooms, 2.25 bathrooms and a open concept kitchen where cooking turkey diners is easy due to its size and completeness. Of course there is a dishwasher. As required by municipal law there is a caretakers suite which is entirely separate from the main suite. The house is wood frame construction so there is some noise transfer particularly in the upstairs portion of the rental side. The caretaker(the owner operator) is a quiet and friendly person who is usually not to far to help out with any question that may arise about the area or property. The hot tub is all yours(not shared) when you stay here. Laundry facilities are available for use and are shared with the caretaker which are in a separate location from both suits. *****BE ADVISED***** 1. This is family style accommodation. If your group is planning or has the potential to do a lot of drinking and/or keep late hours while here we strongly advise not booking this property. We do not rent to groups under the age of 30. 2. Tofino municipal laws limit the number of guests in any holiday rental to 6 persons. For this reason we do not except requests for more than 6 people. 3. When accepting bookings for summer and some shoulder season dates we are looking to book our property effectively as to not leave singe days empty. Please consider this when choosing your dates however please do not hesitate to enquire regardless. 4. Long weekends are a 3 night minimum in most cases. 5. FIREWORKS are NOT permitted in the area except Halloween and New Years Eve. Fire works are not permitted on this property at any time. *****Construction continues on the road to Tofino. We were a party of 6 that came in for a late Sept. Wedding in Tofino. Tranquil Accomodations had every thing we needed! From the well equipped kitchen, the 3 comfortable Queen Beds, the lovely decor with an abundance of West Coast and Native Art and the proximity to South Chesterman Beach (barely a 2 min car ride!), and Tofino only 10min by car...we all had a wonderful, relaxing time. A great spot a short walk from S Chesterman beach. Hot shower and tub were great after the refreshing ocean surfing. Totally quiet after 10pm, the place was great for us our kids and their partners. Definitely would come back

We had a lovely few days on the coast sharing the stunning scenery with our international students. It was a perfect size for 5 and we enjoyed some home cooked meals, movies, games, walks in nature and of course the hot tub. Owner was great to deal with and quick to respond. Would definitely stay again.

The property was perfect for our teenage kids and their friends. The kitchen was fully stocked and everyone loved the hot tub after jumping in the ocean for a polar bear swim. We would definitely recommend this vacation rental :)

Jason’s property is in a quiet location across the highway from Cox Bay. The house is roomy, comfortable and well-equipped. Beds are comfortable. The family enjoyed the hot tub as well.

We got to stay in Tofino around Christmas. Thanks to this cozy rental, we managed to have a wonderful stay to enjoy home cooked meals, board games, hot tub time and occasional walks on the high tide beaches. We would recommend anybody to this place as the place is very well located, and quiet. The owner is very responsive and friendly, which made our stay much better.

Jason’s a great host. Very attentive. Very well stocked kitchen. Awesome location, close to Tofino and super close to Chesterman beach for surfing and evening beach fires (with a propane gas fire we brought). Gorgeous little hidden spot in the salal for the hot tub too, with warm water shower to rinse off your wet suit and sandy body before jumping in. Loved it!

We stayed here for a week in August with our 4 kids (ages 13, 15, 18, and 20). We had a wonderful time. The house had lots of room for all of us, had everything we needed and was quiet and peaceful. It was so great to be so close to two beautiful beaches - our kids could bike there whenever they wanted to. We also explored some other beaches in the area. We all enjoyed the private hot tub, and I appreciated being able to do some laundry. The owner was very responsive and pleasant when I had a small request. We would LOVE to stay here again and I will always treasure this vacation with my family.

This is a beautifully constructed and decorated home, with comfortable furniture, a big kitchen area and fireplace for cooler days. The pleasant walk to the beach is through a quiet, private neighbourhood; you are surrounded in nature, birds and bears. And Chesterman beach is gorgeous. We recommend a walk down the beach to have a morning coffee at the Wickininish Driftwood Cafe right next to the ocean.

Perfect for us
This property was well-suited for our group of four single adults. We each got our own bed and they were all very comfortable (be sure to bring twin bedding for the daybed).
There are nice recliner couches in the living room, although my favourite was the worn, soft one tucked in the space under the stairs :) We found the kitchen adequately stocked with good pans and utensils, and we cooked many meals while we were here.
The hot tub area has a HOT shower which was delightful when peeling off a cold wetsuit. There is also a rope strung on the porch to hang dripping wetsuits and towels.
Jason was very quick to respond to any questions and is very friendly and personable. We would definitely choose to stay here again!
