Located in La Jolla Shores, this lovely house for $1,000 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Walk to La Jolla Shores from our beautiful luxury villa. We are located one block from the hub of La Jolla Shores (Avenida de la Playa) and one more block to place your feet in the sand and play in the gorgeous Pacific Ocean. Please refer to our location on the map. We are close to UCSD, Torrey Pines Golf Course, and La Jolla Village. Hwy 5 and 52 are nearby, which make downtown San Diego, Del Mar, Seaworld, San Diego Zoo, and many other fun destinations and activities easily accessible. La Jolla Shores was awarded the designation of best beach on the west coast by Trip Advisor's Travelers' Choice Awards! The beach is waiting for you! This gorgeous eco friendly home in La Jolla Shores allows you to walk to the beach, book awesome activities with the vendors on Avenida de la Playa, and dine at amazing restaurants..all within walking distance. La Jolla Shores Modern Beach House has received architectural awards and considerable press due to the beautiful design. The home was featured in the Winter 2015 edition of California Homes magazine, the November 2019 Union Tribune Coastal Homes & Estates magazine, Dwell, and many others. The glass wall, which separates the inside from the outside, completely retracts and allows the two to merge. This makes the house wonderful for entertaining and enjoying the gorgeous weather here in La Jolla. This is a 4 bedroom home. All bedrooms have a bathroom and shower (and tub in two). There is also a half bath (powder room) on the main level and an outdoor shower. It is the home of my dreams and I know you will love it as much as I do!

We were in LaJolla for a family wedding
There were 7 adults and 3 kids under 3
We were able to keep the sliders to open porch open all day long. Walk to beach where there is a playground and the village where there are stores and restaurants is literally a block away! Would definitely recommend 100%

We are repeat guests and will continue to be for several reasons; Location of the home is ideal given it is one block from several breakfast, lunch and dinner places, inclusive of small markets with basic grocery items. The beach is a couple of small blocks away and easily accessible. The home itself is kept very clean, well stocked kitchen if you plan to cook, beach items if you plan to go to the beach. Each bedroom is ensuite which is great for privacy, the indoor/outdoor areas are perfect for lounging, especially downstairs since the entire glass "wall" folds open creating an inviting and private space to spend your time. The owner Jill is wonderful to work with, she is efficient in her communication and wants to make sure you have a comfortable stay, you can feel the pride of ownership and care she has for her home and guests.

Our group enjoyed the great location of this home. Easy walk to beach, restaurants and market. The home embraces outdoor living with its large glass retractable wall. Only downside for our group was the downstairs lacked comfortable seating both inside and out. Outside had pads on cement block bench seating and two folding lounge chairs only. Inside sofa accommodates only 3 so others must use the plastic dining chairs. Otherwise, home is well stocked and layout accommodates a group well. Bathroom with each bedroom is a plus.

The house was exactly as advertised. It was very comfortable and is in the perfect spot! So much fun to be so close to the beach, wonderful restaurants and coffee shops.

We had the best stay at this property. The location is fantastic. So close to the beach and plenty of shops and restaurants. Very walkable etc. The house was very clean and well organized and spacious. Had tons of room to spread out. The outdoor space was also so great. An amazing rental. You will not be disappointed!

We loved everything about this home, it’s location, Jill, and the entire experience. Jill has created a luxury yet homey feel with a well appointed kitchen and a nice little library. It’s a home with a great view and just steps away from coffee, pizza, ice cream, surf shops and a few restaurants. We can’t wait to come back and spoil ourselves again next summer!

Lovely family vacation home
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this beautiful home close to beach and to restaurants. Outdoor patio and decks were great for relaxing and fun for toddler to play. Jill was great responding to questions and requests. We hope to come again.

We enjoyed every moment of our stay at this house. Check in was so simple, the owner, Jill, responded quickly to questions, and the house is lovely. We love the location, so close to the La Jolla Shores beach and our favorite restaurants at the Shores. Thank you for everything!

Nice, modern house in a dynamite location
This is a super nice house - clean, with all the simple amenities you can ask for. It's located in the La Jolla Shores area, just 1 block from town, with restaurants, etc., and a few blocks from the beach. You can also walk to the mainline La Jolla area in about 20 mins. House is clean and well taken care of. Really enjoyed it.

Perfect location, but you never want to leave the house!!!
I chose this house due to the proximity to restaurants and to the beach...and because the photos and reviews were top notch. It fit all of our needs. My father is elderly and has a difficult time walking for long distances so this was a perfect choice. Having a bedroom downstairs was also perfect for elderly family members. The location is dynamite, it is also equally wonderful and relaxing to stay at the house. The home is truly unique. Beautifully furnished and comfortable. Every bedroom having it’s own bathroom is outstanding. I highly highly recommend a stay here for families or small friend groups. Wonderful. Thank you!!!

Great house, great location, would return for sure!
We loved our stay at Jill's home. We have stayed at a few places in the area and this property has been the best so far. Beds are comfy, indoor/outdoor space is great, and the location is perfect. Jill also made things very easy, was responsive and helpful. We look forward to our next trip!

Perfect location; Beautiful modern house
The location is perfect -- walk to restaurants, shops, and the beach. We rarely used our car during our stay. The house is ultra modern with glass walls and cement floors that integrate outside and inside living. So many places designed for social gathering -- the courtyard, the upper deck, the living room fireplace -- really made it easy to relax and reconnect as a family. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Stunning!!
This house was perfect for our family of 7, plus one. The weather was gorgeous, so we took full advantage of leaving the doors open whenever we were home. Walking distance to beach and lots of fun shops and restaurants. The hosts were great, they were readily available if we needed them by text or phone call, but gave us our complete privacy. Would stay in this house again in a heartbeat!!
