De host is een prachtige ziel was een eer om haar te ontmoeten. Toen ik vroeg of ze bronwater had ging ze zelf naar de winkel voor me en kwam terug met 4 flessen en appelsap en ik mocht er niet voor betalen. Ook mooie gesprekken gevoerd terwijl ik op mijn taxi wachtte, ze had een lekker kopje thee voor me gemaakt.

You want to feel like a king or queen? Check in into your own castle!
Maybe you can find a cheaper accommodation, but you will never find a better place to stay as with Castle Colombo!
Away from the hustle and bustle of the main street, it is a tranquil, well-kept secret. Located close to Colombo, it’s one of those little gems you have to stumble upon by happy accident.
Nilu is a perfect host (and a very friendly one) and she will help you with all your requests. She even managed to get me a new zipper for my raincoat in half a day.
The AC-room is nice and bright, with direct access to your own little garden, (which is part of a larger, extremely well maintained garden).
King-sized bed with plenty of pillows for a good night of sleep, next to a large bathroom with separate bath and shower.
Definitely recommended. Not just for a holiday, but perfect as well as a place to stay when on a business trip!
