You can have the dream with this one of a kind farm house. Recently updated, with all the amenities you would need to enjoy a day of skiing or a week of fun family time. This expansive, but charming farmhouse features five nicely sized bedrooms, sleeps 12, 8 adults and 4 children, comfortably, and is ideal for large families or group getaways. If you're in town for the IronMan, this house is the perfect rental. Also available for a week-end, a week or a month, just a few days in this authentic, all season Adirondack farmhouse, will have you feeling refreshed and recharged. While you may be in a country setting, Direct TV and internet access is available, so you can still keep in contact with the outside world (or not). Winter isn't the only season that's breathtakingly beautiful here. Autumn is a spectacular event with the leaves changing colors. And in the summer, you'll enjoy river access to swimming and fishing in one of the best eastern trout rivers in USA, the AuSable River. Just two miles down the road is the historic Jay Covered bridge, one of only 29 covered bridges in the Adirondacks. With so much to see and do, once you stay at our farm house, you'll want to keep coming back year after year.

House was roomy enough for our large group of 4 adults and 6 teens to relax after a long day of skiing and snowboarding.

Place was great, we had a lovely time. Lots of games to play, which came in handy as we were stuck inside all day one day due to rain.

The house met our large group’s needs. It’s very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. It was hot, which we expected, but the fans provided in the rooms helped a lot. Access to nearby trails for hiking was excellent and we really appreciated the eggs from then nearby farm. We loved sitting on the chairs out on the porch and also enjoyed the fire pit area one evening. Most areas of the house were clean and comfortable, but some were not, such as inside the windows had large piles of very old dead bugs, the downstairs shower curtain liner was very moldy, and around the backs of the toilets/toilet brushes was very dirty. One of the side doors to the house was unable to be latched/secured. We had to wedge wood under the door ourselves to secure it. Response to our communication/questions was minimal and did not address some of my other inquires. We were also excited to check out the stream but the area around it was overgrown with no access.

This is a great property for large groups. It was clean and had everything we needed and then some for our small group. Only minor items that came up but didn't impact us as we were gone most of the day. They were items like the batteries in the TV remotes where all dead but able to change at the cable box. Lastly, the wifi was a bit inconsistent on speed and at times completely went off line. As I mentioned this didn't impact us much but we were very happy with everything else!

This is a very big house that sleeps a lot of people. We only had 5. The house is located on a road that has little to no traffic. 1/4 mile away they raise cattle in one of the coolest pastures I have ever seen. Deer walk into the yard or you can view them in the back grasses The house is clean and spacious.

My family and I came to this property for a summer getaway. The property was perfect and the host included plenty of condiments, cleaning products and farm, fresh eggs. We enjoyed playing games at the dining room table, making s’mores at the fire pit and taking in the view on the wraparound porch.
We were close to both Lakes Placid and Saranac. We went horseback riding and explored High Falls Gorge. We cannot wait to return!

Great location and overall nice, affordable property! There were a few spots that were very unclean...we moved a sofa because we dropped a battery (ew) and there were old, dead flies on the floor in “extra” room as well as cobwebs in the ski room. The bedrooms and kitchen were clean! The only other complaint is that we were a party of 9. The property advertises for 14. While it’s true that it sleeps 14 if you want to pull out the couches, there is only formal seating for 8 (and an extra table for 4 in the kitchen). We hoped to eat dinner together, but there wasn’t adequate seating for 9 people, let alone 14. In addition, the living room seats maybe 11 (if you want to be squished). All that said, it was a very nice property, and we will definitely return (with no more than 9 people) - understanding that we won’t be able to eat together or sit in the living room together all at once. Oh and note that there isn’t a Kuerig - so remember to bring your coffee!!! We will be back!

Loved this Vacation Rental! Panoramic Views of The Adirondacks and Whiteface off the beaten path! Lots of parking and privacy, with plenty of room for my large group to be comfortable. House was fully equipped with good kitchen ware for large meals. Rooms were inviting with comfy beds, and board games were a plus! The snows storm was a perfect addition to the spectacular views! Will be returning in the summertime!
