Two bedroom Condominium with private patio - recently renovated, steps to beach & heated pool. Barefoot Beach Resort is an upscale Waterfront Resort located in the tropical beach community of Indian Shores, just north of St. Petersburg Beach, and South of Clearwater Beach, in Pinellas County. This newly renovated resort is situated on five acres of lushly landscaped property, bordering the intracoastal waterway and a private deeded beach access. A Suncoast Trolley stop is located across the street and runs from Clearwater Beach to John's Pass-a-Grille Beach. This fabulous Key West style condominium is tastefully decorated and has porcelain tile, horizontal blinds, brown rattan furnishings, theme oriented artwork/decor items, silk plants, and ceiling fans throughout. This bright and spacious 1000 square feet unit includes a Florida/Sun room with French doors, a full sized bedroom, a fully equipped modern kitchen, a spacious bathroom, and accommodates up to 6 guests comfortably. For your convenience, there is ample parking and a barbecue area. The condominium is fully stocked with linens, blankets, pillows, mattress pads, and bath towels. The unit is just steps from the over sized heated pool and barbecue area. Stay for a night, a week, or an entire month. Once you have been there, you will want to return again and again! This premier waterfront condominium is one of the best Southwest Florida has to offer. The fully equipped kitchen boasts modern GE appliances such as: 30 inch ceramic top electric range, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, over the range microwave, and garbage disposal. For your convenience, there is also a toaster, coffee maker, cookware, bake-ware, fire extinguisher, and much, much more. The kitchen and mirrored wet bar have raised panel cabinetry and granite counter tops. The separate dining room has a glass top table with 4 cushioned chairs. The dining room also has a dry bar area. The fully equipped kitchen also includes: electric blender, juicer, can opener, glassware, wine glasses, dinnerware, flatware, serving platters, coffee cups and mugs, teapot, juice pitcher, serving pieces, plastic ware, cream & sugar servers, entertainment dishes, covered sauce pans, skillets, stock/spaghetti pot, broiler pan, roasting pan, large cooling spoons & fork, tongs, spatulas, pancake turner, cutting board, corkscrew & bottle opener, refrigerator containers, drawer divider, trash can, dish cloths/kitchen cloths. The nearby Florida/Sun room surrounds you with windows and is comfortably furnished with armchairs, ottoman, lamp table, table lamp, and cordless telephone. From there, double French doors lead to the bedroom, where there is a comfortable queen size bed, night stands, table lamps, chest of drawers, mirror, chair, alarm clock, closet, and carpeted floor. The spacious tile bathroom is well appointed with premium fixtures and counter surfaces, double headed shower heads in the glass enclosed walk-in-shower, and wall mounted dryer. The master bedroom has a queen size bed with two end tables and a chest of drawers. Also, there is a LCD flat screen television in front of the bed. Everything from the moment we unlocked the door until we packed up to leave again was amazing. We wanted a place away from the crowds (after being at DW) for several days and this place provide the quiet calm we needed! The beach and pool were the highlights. Indian Shores and surrounding area were great. We found many little shops and restaurants which we hope to return to again soon.

Upon arrival we noticed the parking pass was missing. I contacted the owner who told me that a previous tenant had taken it on accident and woukd be mailing it back and I should have it the next day, and he acknowledged he should have let me know ahead of time. Not a big deal, but we didn't end up getting the parking pass until the day before our departure when the cleaning lady just tried to walk right on in. She apologized for her mistake and said she didn't think anyone was there, I'm assuming when we extended our stay a month before our trip our info didn't get updated to the cleaning staff. Overall the place was clean, except some mold in the shower, and the dust ruffle on the bed looked black like it could use a wash. Now to the maintenance part...the bathroom sink was missing a stopper, so be careful about contacts or rings close to the sink, the kitchen garbage disposal didn't work (not a big deal but something we noticed when we tried to use it), the pullout sofa mattress was just a thin mattress topper (my 8 year old said no thanks and we folded it back up and he just slept on the couch), and as somone else noted the blinds in the master bedroom wouldn't turn to actually block out the sunlight and the night light outside. Overall a nice place to stay close to the beach with all the amenities to cook a meal or 2, as we stayed in a few nights of our trip and did just that!!

The location was great. We had the beach to entertain us during the day and the inner coast to entertain us at night. We watched the dolphins come in at night as well as watching the manatees. We enjoyed many meals out on the patio.

I stayed here last year and loved the area so much I booked this spot again this year. Condo was perfect size, clean, had everything you need and loved having the patio outside for outdoor space to eat dinner outside with privacy and enjoy the nice weather. It was also nicely decorated beach vibe. Great propane grills to cook. Condo had grilling tools. Loved having beach and pool options. Pool was the perfect temp and beach access directly across the street. Condo had beach towels, beach toys, chairs, beach umbrellas and coolers. Everything you need. The owner provides clear and specific instructions for entry etc in a timely fashion. No hiccups. Perfect stay. If there is one suggestion and this is not a reflection of the condo itself is to put up room darkening blinds in front bedroom . The condo outdoor lights throughout the complex are kept on all night (you cannot shut them off). If you like darkness to sleep and easily wake up with “daylight” the light does come through the blinds. By no means a deal breaker but pullover curtains would help those who need pure darkness to sleep. Was a relaxing vacation and would recommend this condo to anyone looking for beach, pool and home a feeling of home get away close to Clearwater beach but far enough away to have a more peaceful family vacation.

Simply a great experience! Amazing location directly across the street from a private entrance to a beautiful stretch of beach. Condo was clean and well taken care of. We did not cook but if we had wanted to everything was there. Property had community grills which were also clean and well taken care of, the pool was also clean, heated, and simply a delight. The intercoastal access was a added bonus. I am giving this five stars because there's no reason not to. If I had one suggestion for the property owner it would be to add blackout curtains in the bedrooms, the light from the exterior lights can be a little bright at night time. Oh and if you need to work remote while you're down there, the Wi-Fi access is strong and there is the cutest little desk/enclosed office type area right off the patio that can be easily used for zoom or conference calls. And speaking of the patio area, what a nice touch to be able to have that ground floor location, super fun to sit out there at night and not have to deal with any stairs. We will absolutely be returning to this property.

Best condo at Barefoot!
We have been coming to Barefoot Beach Resort for years and this is hands down the best condo we have ever stayed at. It was roomy and comfortable. And it was well stocked- both the kitchen and for the beach! There were nice chairs, lots of toys, boogie boards, etc.
We would absolutely book here again.

Everything we needed. Access to beach allowed for pleasant walks. Trolley system (once we figured it out) travels the whole length of Gulf Blvd and you can hop on and off. First time vrbo users found by googling. We were pleasantly surprised that we lucked into this property with great location.

I stay at Barefoot Beach Resort every summer. This year I had the opportunity to stay at Greg's place. Greg was easy to work with and his property was just what I was looking for: clean and a good deal for the money. The fact that it is on the first floor with a private patio in the back definitely gives this place a bonus over the others in the development. I enjoyed the coffee I made in the a.m. and a cold one at night on the patio. The fact that it is not far from the pool was also a bonus (for the kids). No issues what-so-ever the entire week. The property had everything I needed for a great family vacation. If you're looking for a place to stay at the Barefoot Beach Resort, this unit should do you just fine.
Couple things to note: I had some concerns before booking due to earlier reviews. Someone mentioned the couch needed to be replaced. It has been replaced. The couch I sat on was new. The picture of the while leather couch is not accurate anymore. There is also no patio umbrella out back. There is plenty of shade from the trees, so not a big deal, but since I mentioned inaccurate pictures, I figured I mention that too. There was also a mention of a water leak in a review. I experienced none of that.
If you are looking for a unit at the Barefoot Beach Resort, you cant go wrong with Greg's Unit... just don't book it the week I'm coming :)

This was an awesome place to stay. It was very clean and had all the necessities plus some! It is super close to beach access. The pool is great. You can also fish off the piers at the back of the property. Close to restaurants and entertainment. Would definitely stay here again.
