About this house rental

Located in Hampton Beach, this lovely house for $214 per night is a great option for your next trip. After a fun day at the beach, shops, restaurants, or arcade, come home and relax! Enjoy the sunset views from the front steps, since this house is only the 2nd from the end of the dead end street. The kids enjoy running in marsh and collecting snails in the bay at the end of the street. And yet the beach and attractions are only 2 blocks away! The house has a bright, sun-filled living room with cathedral ceilings, 4 skylights and ceiling fan. The kitchen and bath are clean and updated. This cozy house has 2 bedrooms: a kids bedroom with a set of twin bunk beds, and a parents bedroom with a full-size bed. There is a recently added loft that has two additional full sized mattresses. This house is clean and in great condition. We use it ourselves when it is not rented. It has a window unit air-conditioner and year-round heat. There is off-street parking for 1 car. This is a perfect rental for a family of 4 or 5. It is on a quiet, dead-end street. The neighbors are year-round owners and the street is quiet. There is no housekeeping for this house. We spend 4 or 5 weeks in the summer at this house and expect our renters to respect the house and take care of it. Renters are responsible for sweeping and vacuuming the floors and wiping down the kitchen and bathroom. There are comforters and pillows for you to use, but you will need to bring your own linens.

We loved the condo it was big enough to visit with family and friends after spending the day at the seafood festival. Quiet dead end street. Close to some good restaurants LStreet cafe: the goat and Bernie’s to name a few. It was a bit of a walk to get to the festival. But was easy access to the beach for relaxing in the sand without a lot of people around you. We would be back next year. The owners did state that there was no house keeping and trust the folks staying there would clean up when they leave. We had to sweep and clean the floors upon arrival. We also made sure that the place was nice and clean for the next person. We left on a Monday so was asked to have the garbage cans out on the street for the sanitation department to pick up. We would be back again.

It was a great place we loved it location was wonderful. The only thing is, we couldn't find a mop o wash the floors with.

This unit answered all own needs. We were 3 adults and one toddler. Only a 5 minute walk from to the beach area which is a plus however we really enjoyed that it was in a very quiet area. The owners were always available to answer any questions we had. We definitely will be renting this unit again without hesitation if our travels take us back to Hampton Beach area.

My friend and I (and pup!) had a great time at this cozy cottage that is much larger than it appears. The living area had plenty of room and lent itself well to watching movies or playing games when the weather was less than cooperative. The vaulted ceiling and skylights added to the spaciousness and beds in the loft (and bedrooms) were surprisingly comfortable. The location was perfect for watching sunsets and walking distance to some fun bars and eateries that offered outdoor dining and midweek entertainment. Will definitely return next summer!

The house is cute and a little bigger than it looks in the photos. The location is quiet in the sense of no traffic (dead end road) and just enough away from the strip. The owners were nice to deal with and responsive. The houses are very close together and so the neighbors are very close by. This is typical of anywhere @ Hampton Beach. It seemed some neighbors were annoyed by renters, so not very friendly making it somewhat uncomfortable.

Had a wonderful time staying here. Plenty of room to sleep and a very well stocked kitchen! Had everything we needed including cleaning supplies. Loved the location just 2 blocks from the beach and the fact its on a dead-end meant no traffic!

We came as a group of 5, the 2 bunk beds were really handy ! Enough space at the dining table, and everything you need in the kitchen. You need to bring some things though to cook ( oil, butter, steak spices) all the cooking ustensils pots and pans are there... everything works. Bbq could be usefull, we brought ours... neighbours are good people and it s safe to walk around.. i would come here again ! Owner answered all my questions

Very Nice cottage on dead end street, we loved how quiet it was, yet just 2 blocks form the beach and all the "action" ! The owners where extremely accomdating with short notice on 4th of July Weekend ! Thanks Kattie and John !

not a clean home

not a clean home

to my dismay I need to give this property a fairly negative review. The bathroom was gross, hair all over floor urine on toilet by floor. very badly stained rugs, dog hairs on entry rug owner expects renter to clean place before leaving Not a good idea as the vacuum did not work and the broom fell apart. I did share my concerns with the owner and suggested he charge a cleaning fee but did not seem like he cared. I really feel as though this was a very unsatisfactory rental and owner inconsideration.
