About this cottage rental
Located in Sister Bay, this charming cottage for $195 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Sister Bay Cottage Cozy and comfortable cottage located on 1.5 acres just 1.8 miles from downtown Sister Bay. Truly, the pictures just don’t do this spot justice. This great cottage features 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, terrific modern kitchen with basically every appliance you could need, wrap around deck for relaxing and entertaining plus a deck with seating off master bedroom. It is tastefully decorated and furnished and supplied with everything from dishware to cookware to linens and towels to much, much more. The huge fire pit and seating provides a lovely spot to enjoy any mild evening. Cottage is located on a quiet street just off Highway 57 with lots of privacy and trees around the property. Sister Bay is ten minutes from Fish Creek, Ephraim, Ellison Bay and Baileys Harbor – so this cottage puts you right in the middle of everything that northern Door County has to offer. First floor consists of great room with dining area with seating for four, lovely kitchen and cozy living room with vaulted ceiling with fire view propane stove. There is also a first floor laundry area with full sized front loading washer and dryer and storage, main bedroom with queen sized bed, roomy storage and full bathroom. Stairs lead to the loft area with media area and leather seating, second bedroom with queen sized bed and second full bathroom. Cottage has central heating and air conditioning – so it is the perfect spot in any weather. Satellite TV and wifi/internet are provided in case you time to settle in for a bit! We are definitely dog friendly -- with advance agreement. We use Mosquito Squad to treat our 1.5 semi wooded acres to keep mosquitos and tick populations down. Huge firepit with seating. Wrap around deck with gas grill and dining table and chairs. Private deck with seating off main, first floor bedroom. We will leave bulk sized bottles for your use of hand soap, shampoo and conditioner. We will wash those bottles prior to your arrival. We will leave extra cleaning supplies and sprays under kitchen and bathroom cabinets. And, in order to provide us with greater time to clean your rentals, we have moved check out time to 10 am and check in time to 4 pm. You can always contact us to see if it might be possible to arrive sooner – but with discharge at 10 am and arrival delayed until 4 pm, we need to have sufficient time to provide you with the cleanest rental possible. Ourdoor furniture will be cleaned as well prior to your arrival. All of our grills are gas grills and we will be certain to leave a back up small gas tank if needed at that rental. Please bag all garbage and leave in the outdoor garbage cans. Lawn care is provided to us every week to two weeks. We are often not aware what date they will be coming – but please rest assured that they will be fast and will not interrupt your visit.

We had a lovely stay at Sister Bay Cottage over the Thanksgiving Weekend. The cottage was beautiful with every available convenience. Our host, Karen, was so responsive. The only minor thing I would mention as something to be aware of is the bed in the downstairs bedroom is quite high off the floor. There is a small step stool to assist if you would need it, but it could be a bit of an issue if your mobility was not great. Very minor issue for us, though. Again, we had a wonderful stay and will be returning to this property in July for another stay.

Came to Door County for a friend’s wedding. Stayed at this lovely home for 3 nights. Very relaxing and comfortable. Perfect for us and friend as we each had our own bedroom and bathroom. Well situated for a Door County getaway. This property is quiet, clean and very well appointed. The house has nice outdoor facilities and a nice space for two couples to spend time together yet afford privacy. The location relative to Door County entertainment is excellent.

Located just a few minutes from downtown Sister Bay, this was the perfect home base for our visit to beautiful Door County. Upon check in, we were happy to see the cottage was spotless. Cozy with every amenity, our family and pups enjoyed coffee on the large deck and smores around the campfire. Located in a quiet neighborhood, the lot is very private and peaceful.

Nice house, could use some updated beds and furniture however. The beds were very uncomfortable. Also 2 snakes were on the property, one large black and yellow snake and a smaller grey snake , that’s just nature at its best but if you bring a dog be careful. We enjoyed our short stay!

We stayed at the cottage from June 10 to 14 2023. The cottage was very clean and the surroundings quiet. It was well appointed with comfortable beds, towels, flatwear, dishes, coffee makers and even conveniences like salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, and sugar. There were even sheets for the dog! We used the propane grill twice and it worked well for Wisconsin brats. The Piggly Wiggly is just down the road for provisions.
The loft area had a cozy tv area with couch and loveseat next to a comfortable bedroom with another bathroom.
At night is was very quiet owing to the large lots between neighboring cottages. We slept well.

We stayed at Sister Bay cottage for a long weekend with our family including a baby and this was the perfect spot! Multiple outdoor spots to enjoy the weather and sunshine. PERFECT location minutes from Sister Bay. The road construction was clearly communicated and Karen was awesome and so helpful!

My sisters and I had a great time visiting Door County. The house was perfect for our needs. There were 3 of us and 2 dogs, and there was plenty of space. Just a few minutes from town, and rather centrally located to all the things we wanted to see. Beds were very comfortable, and you have everything you need in the house. We loved our stay. Lovely home. All the amenities you’d have at home. Nothing needed if you want to cook your meals. Located in quiet cul de sac, minutes from the downtown sister Bay Area. Owner is pleasant and responsive, this was our second stay here, and we will be back again soon

We were very happy with the cottage we rented. Karen takes great pride in her properties and it shows with the cleanliness, darling furnishings and amenities. The bottle of wine she provided when we arrived was an unexpected treat. The location was perfect for quick trips into town and access to the countryside. Our dog loved the space, too.
