About this house rental
Located in Sister Bay, this attractive house for $300 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Parkview Beach Cottage is located directly across the street from the beautiful beach and marina park in Sister Bay, Wisconsin. The park offers kayak and other boat rentals, tours, a music stage with weekly performances, boat launch, children's playground, sand beach, swimming pier and dock. Watch the boats move into and out of the marina from the house. This unit sleeps 4 and can be rented with the upper unit VRBO#1218114 which has the same floor plan but sleeps 6 for a total of 10 people. You can look up the other unit on VRBO also. This house offers two separate two bedroom, 1 bath apartments with each unit having its own kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms, bathroom and deck. Rent one or both floors. The first floor is furnished to sleep 4 people and the upper furnished to sleep 6 people for a total accommodation of 10 people. This listing is just for the first floor unit. The rates vary depending upon time of year and number of guests. The house comes completely furnished with separate kitchens, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, living room with decks and deck furniture facing toward the water. There are full appliance packages with each having a stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, clothes washer and dryer. WIFI, Cable TV, Central Air and heat parking are all included. The house has hardwood floors with area rugs throughout the house. The linens ( WITH BEDS MADE); hand, bath and dish towels; soap; grill; dishes; pots and pans; silverware and utensils are all furnished. The house has beautiful views of the park, beach and stage. It is located 1 block to the downtown and within easy walking distance to the library, restaurants, children's play area, boat and tour rentals, bowling alley boat launce and other village amenities. The yard has been designated s a Monarch Butterfly Way Station by Monarch.org. The two units can be rented together by the week if both units are available or separately. In the prime season we only rent by the week with Saturday 4pm check in to the following Saturday with check out at 10AM. One unit is available to rent in the winter months. We are a SMOKE FREE environment and sorry we cannot accommodate your pets. We have many people stay here that have allergies because of the hard wood floors we have no carpet mites. We also heat the premises all winter so we do not have the musty smell that other cottages get when closed during the winter. - Steps to the Beach and Marina Park - Sister Bay was voted #1 Small Wisconsin Town for restaurants -Coffee shops, restaurants, bowling alley, library, gift and clothing shops, kayak launch, boat launch and marina, kayak boat and jet ski rentals, water tours by sail boat, motorized tour boat, music stage with weekly concerts, fishing all within block or within easy waling distance -Sister Bay is located a few miles north of Peninsula State Park and Golf Coarse and a few miles south of Newport Beach State Park and Gills Rock where the ferry boat leaves for Washington Island and Rock Island State Park -Sister Bay is the best location to experience Door County and all that it has to offer

Four girlfriends spent a girls weekend in Sister Bay and we absolutely enjoyed our stay! Kim’s place was incredibly clean and the location could not be beat- easily walkable to just about everywhere in Sister Bay.
We had the pleasure of meeting Kim at check in and he explained everything/made the process super easy.
Our only complaint was the upstairs neighbors were loud! Not sure if that is typical or if these people were just next level but we could easily hear them walking upstairs late into the night. That would not deter us from staying again though! Thanks Kim!

Great location! The house was great! Beach is right across the road. Everything downtown was in walking distance. The only bad thing that I can say is that all the mattresses were uncomfortable. Everything else was great!

An ideal location just steps away from Sister Bay beach and all the dining, shopping and entertainment you could imagine. Our host was easy to contact, very hands on with check in and whatever local info and resources needed. The coffee pot was showing it's age with a slow drip and he immediately replaced it! The first floor two bedroom unit was spacious, comfortable and had an enormous deck facing the beach for lots of outdoor relaxation. We enjoyed everything about our stay and would definitely return.

The first floor of this lovely home was everything as listed and more! Ideal location, well maintained property, more than adequate kitchen supplies, comfortable beds/living room furniture with much attention to detail. The large deck was a nice space to sit and chat; morning, noon and night.
Our only concern was the noisy air conditioner.
We hope to come back again someday!

From start to finish our experience with this property, and Kim the owner, was fantastic. We had been searching for a property with better beach access for our children, and lucked into booking this for two weeks in July/Aug 2022. It is literally 100 yards from the beach, in the center of Sister Bay - with small children it's an absolute perfect location.
The units were both clean and well-maintained. Loved the decks for dinners as the sun set. Plenty of space, and a great place to hunker down in after a long day out in Door County.
Has a smart TV in each unit for streaming for the kids or movie night after the kids go to sleep. Kitchens are fully stocked with dishwasher, microwave, stove, fridge - you just provide the food. We had all the privacy we needed, and were basically able to live like it was our home for 2 weeks.
Aside from the beach you are walking distance to the Sister Bay strip (Al Johnson's, etc) a short ride to the Pig for groceries or whatever else you need, and perfectly situated to explore the best of Door County.
Loved it, and we will be back!

Lovely location but LIGHT SLEEPERS BEWARE!
I’ll start by saying that this property is in an amazing location! There are great views of the bay from the deck and it’s walking distance to everything in downtown Sister Bay. The property was very clean and well organized and had just about everything you’d need to stay minus coat hangers in closets.
A couple things to be aware of with this property depending on your group. The group staying above us was VERY LOUD. We could hear EVERY SINGLE STEP THEY TOOK ABOVE US! There was very little sound mitigation to stop you from hearing anything happening in the upper unit. You can also hear the live music from a few of the local bars during the evenings but that typically stops by 11pm. The AC is also very loud while running… A member of our group mentioned to the owner, who is frequently on the property, that the group above was quite loud and he didn’t seem to be concerned with it.
Overall, lovely location and property but VERY loud in a few aspects. Not entirely sure I’d stay there again unless I was renting out both units.

BEST LOCATION IN SISTER BAY!!!
The property itself was clean and nicely decorated. Kim, the owner is very responsive and helpful. But the best part of this property is its location, right across the street from the local beach/park/ and water amenities. Sitting on the second floor deck is perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails. I will definitely be making reservations for next summer!

The house was cozy and very clean. We just stayed the weekend so it wasn't a long stay but when we were there, it was nice. We could hear the upstairs tenants walking and talking quite a bit which was the only downside as they were up before 6 am and then so were we! The location was spectacular as we could walk to everything in Sister Bay so I would definitely recommend.
