Situated in Rockaway Beach, this attractive house for $556 per night is a great option for your next break. Your new favorite place to stay in Rockaway!! Diamond Beach is a beautiful, upscale, 1700 square foot, ocean front townhouse located 3 blocks from the center of town in Rockaway Beach, Oregon. Three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, elegant and luxuriously appointed throughout, you will feel pampered as you relax in quaint Rockaway... "small town America at it's best". The home features endless amenities including a king sized bed in each bedroom outfitted with a premium quality pillow top mattress, five HD flat screen televisions; one in each bedroom, the living room (includes surround sound, Netflix with 100's of movies and a PS4 with a small selection of games) and in the garage exercise area. Granite counter tops, travertine tile floors and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. The full kitchen features a Kitchen aide refrigerator and Jenn-aire stove. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need for preparing a meal at home including coffee pot & bean grinder, toaster, waffle iron, electric griddle, mixer and blender. We provide coffee beans for your first pot of coffee. The microwave is also a convection oven with many automated functions. There is a bluetooth speaker and a charging station for your electronic devices in the kitchen. We have provided a pack n' play, a high chair and a jogging stroller for families traveling with small children. Binoculars are available in the main living area. There is a hotel quality safe in the master closet and pets are considered. We pride ourselves on being environmentally conscious and plant based friendly. We offer all cruelty free cleaning and personal products which are also scent free whenever possible. We are committed to sustainability and supporting the environment as much as we can. For our vegan friends we offer 2 vegan cookbooks and a tofu press. The bamboo cutting boards are clearly marked with "fruits only" or "veggies only" in an effort to avoid cross contamination. Our complimentary soaps, shampoo and conditioner are all plant based and cruelty free. While Rockaway does not offer recycling, we have provided a receptacle to recycle cans and bottles that have a deposit. In the garage you will find 4 anti-gravity lounge chairs for use on the deck or out on the beach, hand weights, along with a collection of exercise DVDs have been provided for you fitness nuts! Also in the garage there is a ping pong table and dart board. In the downstairs deck closet we have boogie boards, skim boards, sand chairs & toys, kites and a cooler for packing lunch down to the beach. For those of you bringing your four-legged family member, there are clean up bags, a pet bed and bowls for food and water. There is a $75 fee per pet per stay and guest must agree to pet rules. We have provided slip leashes for use in the home or to take home with our compliments. The home is located 3 blocks from the center of town, close enough to walk for your morning paper and latte but far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. Our family had a really great stay at this property - it is a bit less private than the images portray but location and thoughtfulness of the owners are top notch. Kids really enjoyed the professional ping pong table too.
HV/AC is not controllable (which was pre-advertised) and produced uncomfortably warm afternoons. Beyond that, only good memories from our stay. Thank you!!

Enjoyed a beautiful weekend at Rockaway Beach. The condo was well stocked with everything and we loved being able to walk right onto the beach. We were also able to walk into town to enjoy the restaurants. The view of the beach, Twin Rocks and the sunsets were spectacular.

We love this townhouse….stay here every visit to Rockaway. Fully stocked with everything you need! Location is great, walking distance to city center but feels like we have a private beach! Owners are very responsive…..we love it!

Of all the rental proprieties we've stayed in over the years - this property by far had thought of and provided the most amenities a guest may want from a handheld blender we forgot we needed for baking the 16th birthday cake to towels by front and back door for handy feet wiping (I'm going to do this at home!). The one thing I might add is a "where to eat" series of recommendations as we found the internet "ratings" to be really ... off. And the hours are important to know as they close earlier than one would expect during "high season". Overall - we had a wonderful "last weekend" before school starts. Thank you.

This home did not disappoint. We travelled to the beach with our family of 7 and the house was absolutely perfect. It was clean, the furniture was so comfortable, the decor was very classy. I was a bit nervous about it being a townhome and having neighbors next door, but it was quiet and felt like a stand-alone home. My only suggestion would be a larger set of nonstick pans for cooking. I did not bring nonstick spray and the largest pan was too small for a bag of hash browns. Other than that I highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable home with gorgeous views of the ocean. We all loved our king sized beds and sitting on the balcony in the mornings enjoying our coffee and tea.
One of us had a cast on so we didn't use the beach chairs or other amenities provided to go out and lounge on the beach but it was nice to know they were there for our use if we wished.
Wifi was a little spotty in the downstairs bedrooms but just fine upstairs. It didn't bother us because we're all readers and we're happy to settle in with our books in bed.
Kitchen had everything we needed, and seating was very comfortable in the living room and adjacent balcony.
Great location to all the shops and restaurants in town, and a only a short drive to Manzanita.

We’ve stayed at this house before and knew exactly what we were getting into and it delivered just what it promised! Glorious location just moments away from the beach and with plenty of room for our family! We loved being so close to the town and everything we needed the house provided! Communication with Cara was super helpful and she was always proactive and responsive whenever asked. Everything was super seamless and we had a terrific stay!

This was a perfect spot for us to enjoy family travelling from the midwest. Home was beautiful, very comfortable and had everything we needed and more. We so enjoyed the view of ocean from the deck during the day, ease of access to beach and amazing dark skies to see stars in evening. It was a great spot to relax and enjoy our precious time together!

The location of the condo was spectacular. The view from the deck was beautiful and it was incredible to be able to walk right into the sand. The kitchen was very well stocked for making meals. The beds are very soft, so people who prefer a firm bed may be uncomfortable. Cara was very responsive and easy to communicate any questions. We hope to return very soon!

We spend a good amount of time in rentals on the coast, so we know the drill—you pay for "cleaning" but you really need to do a lot of it yourself. Which is annoying, but it is what it is. As requested, we cleaned all the dishes, stripped the beds, washed all the towels, took out the trash, etc. Literally spent our entire morning the day of departure getting ready for checkout (we have two little kids).
After we left, I realized we left my son's light/noise machine (which is kinda pricey) so I reached out to the host. At which point she got into what a mess we'd left the place (according to the cleaning staff) with way too much laundry, etc—there would be extra fees. Mind you, we only slept in 2 or the 3 beds and we pre-washed all the towels. So HOW there was "extra" laundry was beyond me. I asked for pics bc I was SO surprised and she sent me a picture of the counter with a couple ornamental pieces out of place and one piece of trash we didn't take out (pizza box). (The trash outside was completely full for us the whole trip, but still got dinged for that extra pizza box.)
For anyone with kids, you should know the house is PACKED with ornamental stuff and apparently everything has a very specific place, so you gotta be extra careful. We thought we went above and beyond, frankly, getting the place situated for the cleaning staff, but apparently not.
In the end, I don't care about the extra costs. I would have paid double the cleaning to not have this kind of headache. It was just the worst way to leave a vacation—it was really upsetting the way she messaged us about it like we were such awful guests, it ruined our whole night.
Of course, the whole point of us getting away was to decompress, but we took none of those good vibes home.
Ps. The host let us know the cleaning staff found the light/noise machine but she then made no effort to get it back to us. I couldn't bring myself to ask again. I just wanted this to be behind us. But I had to review for all our fellow parents out there, just trying to have a relaxing weekend.

This home not only has unobstructed views of the ocean but inside the home every attention to detail has been given. Comfy beds, stocked kitchen, beautiful decor, cozy couch and lovely fireplace. This was the perfect place to get away with the family. Ocean front views and all the amenities needed without the crowds. The home was very well maintained, stocked with all the essentials and clean and cozy. Will recommend.

Everything was perfect! What a great place in a great location! We had a perfect weekend. Only downside was it was too short. Hosts Cara and Keith have a beautiful townhouse that exceeded all our expectations. We will be back!
