Nestled in Balboa Peninsula, this charming house for $350 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Charming Newport Beach 2 bedroom 2 bath home located by the world famous Wedge on Peninsula Point. This nicely furnished home provides easy beach access, less than 100 steps away from the sand. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening dinner on the inviting front porch, or entertain privately in the comfortable backyard. Recently updated kitchen has refrigerator, gas stove, oven, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, coffee grinder, crock pot, blender, and dishwasher. The living room and master bedroom each have a flat screen Smart TV and DVD player. There's a high chair, porta-crib, and toddler bed rail, as well as a set of plastic dishes in the kitchen for your little ones. Plenty of bikes, board games, DVD's, and beach equipment and toys. In the back yard you can enjoy our gas grill, charcoal BBQ, and fire pit. Peninsula Point, in addition to being one of the most desirable neighborhoods in all of Newport Beach, also offers a Bay Beach (which is a short 3 block walk from the house) for those who wish to enjoy the water without the waves. The home is also located only a short and easy walk or bike ride from the Fun Zone where you can rent boats, paddle boards, go on a fishing expedition, take the ferry to Balboa Island, or simply enjoy one of the many restaurants. Wonderful place to make new family memories!! Perfect location for a perfect vacation!

We had the most amazing stay with our family of 4. Communication with the owner was great from the moment we booked. She truly goes out of her way to make sure guests are comfortable and enjoy their stay. The house had everything you could possible need and then some. We were even greeted with snacks, cute dog Christmas napkins and a welcome note. The home is steps from the beach access which we enjoyed daily. We also enjoyed the gas fire pit in the back courtyard. All of Newport was very busy, but this home tucked further down on Balboa Peninsula was very peaceful and parking was not a problem. I highly recommend it over staying on Balboa Island which was jammed with people. This is a place where wonderful memories with your family and friends can be made. We can't wait to come back!

First let me start off by saying for a small family, this is the perfect property. It has everything you need and then some! Kate is an incredible host, communicating everything, accommodating for any eventuality, and super responsive. My wife worked for VRBO for ten years and said this is exactly the type of property and host that you hope and dream for. By far the best VRBO experience we've had to date! I would not hesitate to visit Kate's cozy, well stocked, well maintained property. We will be back again for sure!!!

This is our 3rd visit to Surf’s Up cottage and we just love it here!! So close to the beach, such a clean home, and everything you need is already here. We love riding bikes to dinner, roasting s’mores in the backyard fire pit, and spending lazy days on the beach. Great memories with family!

We loved staying here!! Our kids had fun playing the games, watching movies, bike rides, and all the beach toys and gear provided!! The outdoor firepit is amazing and we loved using the bbqs. Such a beautiful neighborhood literally steps from a beautiful beach with endless seashells for the kids to collect and explore. Very peaceful and family oriented place to stay. Kitchen had all we needed and more!! Will definitely be back!!

We had a great trip with our teenage kids. The home shows true pride in ownership and is charming, welcoming, and very well maintained. Everything you need is provided for a great beach vacation. Proximity to the beach is wonderful, literally just steps away. Homes in the the surrounding neighborhood are also absolutely beautiful. My wife and I took walks through the neighborhood everyday. My daughter and I logged lots of beach front miles on the bikes provided by the owner. The owner, Kate, was great to work with. We would definitely return for another stay!

This was the perfect spot for our family of 4 to experience the ocean for the first time! The house was perfectly clean and stocked with everything we needed for home and the beach. Lots of restaurants nearby to visit or get delivery. We enjoyed the fire pit, and plenty of games, books and movies to occupy the evenings. The beach was pretty much empty in October. We hope to be back!

Cute comfortable beach home in VERY nice neighborhood. The only negative was the bikes in the garage were a little rough and not the smoothest to ride. We regretted not bringing our own. The home is nicer than the pictures. Kate was very friendly and easy to work with.

This is probably our favorite VRBO we have stayed in. It was comfortable, cute, cozy and close to the beach. We enjoyed the most beautiful sunsets and saw dolphins everyday. It was so nice to have beach towels, chairs, an umbrella, sand toys, etc. available for use. The neighborhood was charming and quiet. Kate was the perfect host. We would love to return someday!
