About this house rental
Nestled in Carolina Beach, this attractive house for $450 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Read the comments- People LOVE this place!! This is a three-story duplex located on the North end of Carolina Beach.This townhouse is approximately 2700 square feet, so there is alot of room for multiple families. The property is located across the street from the ocean with only one row of houses between you and the beach. The views are better than many oceanfront houses! A public walkway to the beach is almost directly across the street from the house, and this is not a busy street. The views of the beach and the canal are breathtaking. Watch the sun rise and set from almost any room in the house. When looking at the photo of the house, the right side is the property listed. Unit 2 has six covered porches with access from every floor to both the ocean view and the canal view. The first floor has a recreation room with a game table, sofa and smart TV. There is also a separate bedroom with two double beds, TV, private deck overlooking the sound, and a common bath between the rec room and the bedroom. The washer and dryer are located in the hallway. A Game table/bar area is located in the foyer and is a great place to play board games or cards, which are stocked in the cabinet. The middle floor has a great room, 30 inch High Definition TV/DVD, kitchen, dining room and bar, pantry and private deck overlooking the ocean. There is also a bedroom with a king bed, bath, and private deck overlooking the sound, also with a flat screen television. The third floor has a master suite with a king bed, jacuzzi and shower bath and a large deck overlooking the ocean. The Master Suite has a flat screen television. There is also another bedroom with one queen bed and a twin bed, a private bath, a built in desk, TV, bookshelves with books for your pleasure. This bedroom also has a deck overlooking the canal. Please note that this is a four story townhouse. Please make sure your party is able to climb stairs including climbing one flight of stairs to enter the property. There is a bedroom and bath as well as a rec room on the first floor. The kitchen and dining areas are on the next floor, so this would require two flights of stairs. And the master and fourth bedroom takes three flights of stairs. The house has a private optionally heated pool, large deck, grill, private, and storage and parking underneath the house. This house was built for the enjoyment of our family and yours. We built it with nothing spared! Come and enjoy the beautiful brightly colored rooms and decor with absolutely breathtaking views of both the ocean and the canal. Sit on the front decks and see and hear the ocean roar. Watch the sun set against the sailboat silhouettes in the canal. It is an absolute dream! Reserve now before the price goes up!! ***Families and Groups of families ONLY need to inquire*** ****We make every effort and take great pride in keeping our properties in great working order and up to date. However, there are times when equipment malfunctions in the pool and elevator which is beyond our control. We offer a reasonable repair time in conjunction with the repair companies. FAQs: 1) Is this located in near the beach? Answer: YES! beach access is almost directly across the front door. The Carolina Beach Boardwalk is about 1 mile south, and Freeman Park is 1/2 mile north. 2) What days do the weekly rentals start? During peak summer months, this is strictly a Saturday-to-Saturday rental. Off peak is more flexible and weekly rentals can most likely start on any day you prefer. 3) What are check-in and check-out times? Answer: Standard check in: 4pm, and standard check out: 11am. 4) Are any amenities included? yes, You will find the property supplied with: all Linens, including sheets and towels, a Roll of paper towels, bath tissue in each bath, hand soap, dishwasher soap, trash bags, kitchen utensils, cookware, place settings, cable tv, board games, fully stocked kitchen- no food though!!Oftentimes, previous renters leave many seasonings. 5) Is WiFi Internet service or phone service provided? Yes, 30mbs broadband over Wifi is included. Also local phone service is included. 6) Are linens included? Yes, linens are included in your stay. 7) Can we have an early check-in, or late check-out? Answer: during peak season (summer months) occupancy is 100% so this is most likely not an option. We requested and received an early check-in (yay!) so that we could get our girls trip started early. Kelly was so nice and responsive.
The house was very clean upon our arrival and very charming.
The beds were very comfortable, which isn't always the case with rental properties.
The bathrooms had shampoo, shower gel, and soap. Kelly also provided towels and washcloths, which cuts down on what we had to bring.
The elevator was out of service, which was a bummer for a 3-story house for loading and unloading, but it didnt detract from our stay.
The pool area was gorgeous with many lounge chairs and beautiful plants. And did i mention the location to the beach? Access is directly across the street!

The house was beautiful and well equipped but had not been cleaned. We cleaned with the cleaning supplies available. Could not clean the floors as the vacuum was broken and we had no mop, but after we cleaned the house we enjoyed our stay.

The only problem I had with the house were the stairs. We are older and purposefully looked for an elevator. During our stay the elevator didn't work. Otherwise our trip was perfect.

We loved the house. it worked out great because our cousins were in the house next door so we were able to share the pool with them. Great location for our first visit to Carolina Beach .

We had a great week of vacation at Carolina beach and enjoyed our rental. Was disappointed when we arrived that elevator didn't work but owner said that was not supposed to still be on VRBO site as it does not work. Would make sure of this next time. Overall nice place however porch furniture needs updating and more comfortable seating as we sat out to play games and eat at the table and only seats 4. Very convenient walk across the street to the beach and great pool. Very nice family stayed beside us and no problem communicating about sharing the use of grill.

Kelly was prompt in responding to all our communications. Having the ocean across the street and a pool in the back yard was just perfect. The elevator didn't work but wasn't a deal breaker. Our family had a great vacation and would stay here again!

The dishwasher did not work however; most of us don't use one anyway so, we did not mind or say anything. The elevator didn't work but, again, for safety reasons this is not something we wanted her to come out and fix. The A/C person came out promptly the first time we contacted Kelly. There was only one dish rag and one dish towel but, I guess not everyone changes these out daily as we do and there were not enough linens but, we vacation like this annually; this was not a surprise. All in all, this was a wonderful vacation and Kelly was more than accomodating.

Ok his home felt like home, great home for vacation. The best part was the heated pool, if you have small children or if it’s cold… this is a plus and worth the extra fee. Everything was clean and management replies quick, I would recommend this home to friends and family. Will stay here again!!

Enjoyed our stay, beach access was right across the street, lots of boogie boards and sand toys to use. Pool was nice, bathroom outside was a bonus. Baby gates for steps were available for the stairs and we were thankful they had them for our little one!! Nice having access to a grill. Only cons were the the cleanliness, owner offered to send the cleaning crew back out but we just cleaned ourselves. I would recommend a wet/dry vacuum for the unit, freezer smelled bad until we washed out the ice maker, and replacing mattresses.

This property was everything my family and I hoped it would be.
Great location, across the street from the beach. Plenty of room, we were 4 adults and 4 children. The kids loved the pool, and having to share with only 1 other family was great. The house had everything we needed for our vacation. We will definitely consider returning to this location the next time we are considering a Carolina Beach vacation.

Amazing Family Vacation
We absolutely loved our stay. The location is perfect, especially with having 7 small children. Just right across the street from beach access. The pool is great too. Very clean. It's a great space for family get togethers. Kelly is a fantastic communicator. We're already looking forward to our stay next year!

The property was very clean and well kept. Great location to beach access. The owner, Kelly, was great to work with. She checked on us and made sure everything in the property was in working order and if we needed anything to call or text her. We. have stayed in CB several times and this place is a gem and recommend it to everyone. Thanks for a wonderful stay with family

Steps to the Beach!
The location of this house is perfect for a property across the street from the oceanfront. Great views of the inlet to the west and the ocean to the east. And the walk to the beach access is literally like 50 feet.
This duplex had everything we needed. Ample parking, outdoor showers, a pool that was plenty for 4 elementary aged children, and enough space for our party of 9.
The property does have some age and wear. The owner was very responsive to our questions. If “shiny, perfect, and new” is what you expect at the beach, you may be disappointed. But this rental met all of my expectations and we really enjoyed our week.

Family vacation
The location of the property is excellent - very close to the beach. We loved the pool. It was cleaned twice during our stay and there were plenty of chaise lounges. The house is spacious but a little beat up and in need of some TLC and minor upkeep. We had problems with the cooling of the refrigerator into the second day of our stay. Kelly was very responsive but it was frustrating having to purchase coolers to keep our groceries cool. Overall, the property met our needs and we had a very enjoyable family vacation.

Great location, space for large families
We had a great trip, this home was plenty of space for our large family. Stocked well with everything you need. Very close and easy access to the beach, pier, and long walk or quick drive to the boardwalk. Nicely decorated too. Owner was attentive to our needs when we called. The elevator stopped working after we got 1 load upstairs so we couldn’t use the rest of the week, so I wouldn’t depend on using it for another stay. Not a problem for us, we could walk the stairs, not convenient for move in or out day though. The place looked clean when we arrived, my only red flag was that the floor mats in the bathroom had not been washed between guests. They smelled musty and the lighter ones were visibly dirty. We also had a problem with bugs in the kitchen. We were hyper vigilant with keeping food away in ziploc bags, wiping counters and vacuuming. Garbage went out daily if not twice daily. Everything we opened went in fridge or ziplocks in cabinets. Noticed 2-3 daily but by mid week, we had enough and called. Owner came over that day to spray but then they got worse, probably trying to get away from where he sprayed. He said spray would take 48 hours to work fully, hope the next family gets the benefit of that because we did not. It didn’t ruin our trip but it was gross! The kitchen sink was running slow when we arrived and clogged by midweek but again the owner sent a plumber that day and it was resolved. We appreciate the owners attentiveness to any problems we experienced. The pool was also great to use for a break from the beach or to cool off. Overall it was nice place to stay, great space for our large family and easy access to everything. I’m sure bugs can be a problem at the beach and it doesn’t help having different families in and out every week but we did not have this problem at another place we rented 2 years ago down the way.

Very nice condo with pool and close access to ocean.
If you love Carolina Beach, great views of the ocean and the sound, and very close access to the beach this home is for you. It also has a great pool, showers and bathroom by the pool. You can see the sun rise and set from almost every deck at the condo. Kelly was very quick to respond to my questions. We loved the location and our stay. We will return!

We had a wonderful stay at this Carolina beach home over memorial weekend. The house is nicely appointed and very clean! There was plenty of room for our 2 families and then some. We can’t wait to be back!

Beautiful house with beautiful views from every room of either the beach or the canal. The beach access is right across the road! House is very clean and the pool was wonderful after a day on the hot beach. We would definitely come again

Easter Week
We had a good time. The weather was sunny and warm for half the week. We were on the beach and in the pool in bathing suits two days and on the beach another two days in jackets.
The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The views from the house are wonderful.

Beautiful home in a fabulous neighborhood!
Wonderful location and so many little things that make the stay so stress free! The house has all the light switches labeled to make it quick and easy! Great beach gear is available but you may not want to leave the sparkling pool! Very responsive owner who's quick to answer any questions. The views are spectacular and the beach is right across the street. Thank you for a wonderful family gathering place!

Nice layout, good space.
Two days before we arrived we were told the elevator was not working. The elevator was a big reason we picked this house. We were never offered anykind refund for that not working. There were roaches in the kitchen. The pest control man came, but not change in the amount of bugs we says. We spoke to the owner who was very nice, but words only go so far. Besides those issues the house was good for us.

Great family or small group beach get-away!!
Our family of 5 stayed in the home for 5 days. The home is very clean and welcoming, The view is magnificent! The amenities including the pool and convenient parking are wonderful. If you are looking to get away to the beach and need a great place to take the family or meet with friends, this is the place. I highly recommend!
