Ellen is a wonderful host and happily shared her life, her home, and insights on the Island. The property is rustic, in a great location and very comfortable. I would stay here again and didn’t want to leave! M’Pai Bay is very special with the ex-pats working alongside the locals, a wonderful community feel!

We have only good things to say about our stay at Dahlia guesthouse. Ellen was extremely welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The room was very nice and clean, on a very beautiful part of the island. We had a great time getting to know Ellen and her volunteer Del, in and out of the guesthouse! The location is only a short walk to the beach and the local restaurants. We had an amazing time both at Dahlia and on the island itself. Thanks so much, Ellen!

We hebben hier een hele fijne tijd gehad. Ellen heeft ons echt welkom geheten op het eiland en ons van een aantal goede tips voorzien. Het verblijf was fijn. De wifi was prettig. De douch was koud, maar we mochten gebruik maken van haar douch om je haar te wassen. Ook fijn!

Amazing place to stay on the island, 5 minute walk from the beach and the host Ellen is super nice and very welcoming. The room was clean, bed was comfy and there is a really nice balcony area to relax in too. While staying we went to see the bioluminescent algae/plankton every evening at the beach which was great fun and borrowed the snorkelling goggles which great. Also a frisbee & badminton set available to borrow too! Overall a brilliant place to stay and I highly recommend.
