Situated in South Lake Tahoe, this charming house for $136 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. My Heavenly Chalet is a comfortable and affordable 2 story A-frame cabin, minutes from everything South Lake Tahoe has to offer, including the Heavenly Ski Resort, Community College, bike trails, shops, casinos, and the beautiful lake. Bring the family. There are three bedrooms. The upstairs bedroom has a king-size bed and television. The 2 downstairs bedrooms have 1 queen bed and 1 twin bed each. There is also a game room loft with a pull-out twin. The house is over 1500 sq. feet. and is located in a quiet neighborhood. Is Fido a part of the family? Bring him too. There is an enclosed backyard so the kids and the pets can run around. He will enjoy walking the nearby trails and strolling over to the Bijou dog park. My home comes equipped with a foosball table and lots of board games for family bonding or those rare rainy days. There is also wireless internet. There are desks to use when you settle down to write that book you've been meaning to start working on, journal, or maybe check in with school or work during your stay. This house is in a great location. We spent 2 months here (July and August). It's10-20 minutes from a bunch of beaches, restaurants and bars. Bijou Park was a short walk away and had a dog park, skate park, bike course, disc golf, etc.
There are a ton of running and biking paths all around.
All the basics were provided as far as kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, etc. For summer visitors, a nice patio table set w/umbrella would be nice to have. We ended up buying a couple chairs and left them there. Great place all-around!
Owners were very responsive.

This was my second year at the chalet. Although It was just me and the pup, family did visit. Great neighborhood and friendly neighbors. Met many during my morning walks with my dog. House is comfortable and feels like home. Hope to be back sooner than later.

Comfortable and quiet location
Barbara's cabin was a great stay for me and my family. It is in a quiet neighborhood with a wide street and easy-to-access driveway (even when snowy/icy). My family and I had a great winter here and would come back in future winters.

This is my 3rd year renting in the fall and my first time at the Red Chalet in Pioneer Village. It is So homey and close to everything. In fact, I’ll be back here in the Spring and Fall of 2022!

I like the house and location - very close to everything at the town, but at the same time secluded in quite area, near great park. You can walk to the beach (~1.5 mi)
The house can easily fit 3 families of 3.
Well stocked (kitchen have everything you need, great knifes) , fooseball is a very nice feature.
Couple things to consider:
Cleaning wasn't done very well
Very dirty curtain in the upstairs shower.
Very old mattress.

We loved our stay at the Red House. Perfect location for our family, and we are looking forward to going back next year. Our 4 legged son loved the backyard and watching the wildlife. Thank you for an amazing house to stay in. Our 5 year old loved "The Little Red house."

Perfect location and home for a weekend away. It was easy (and quick) to get to the California Lodge for some skiing. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking meals. The back yard was great for our pup and toddler to have some fun playing in the snow. We hope to come up again!

Close to the everything
The property is clean but dated. All in all it was a really good stay - although the twin beds made a lot of noise every time we moved. It made it funny though, since we made fun of the girls sleeping in those beds. It was a really good base for our Tahoe trip.

Cute, Cozy Cabin
We loved our stay. This home is very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. which is always a plus. It rained, hailed and snowed during our trip which made the fireplace extra special to come home to at night. This home has a huge fenced in backyard if you are bringing your fur baby with you. It is also very close to everything which is very convenient.

This was the perfect cabin. It was clean, warm, and close to grocery stores, ski lifts, restaurants, and shopping centers. I recommend this cabin if you are traveling to South Lake Tahoe.

We had a great time!
There was lots of snow! We had a great time despite not being able to ski due to wind one of the days. We enjoyed the cabin and the fenced backyard for the dogs. Overall the cabin was clean and tidy. We would stay again. The kitchen had all the appliances, pots, etc … we needed to cook what we wanted to cook.

Winter Review: Close to Heavenly, warm and cozy!
I stayed here with 8 adult guests and my black lab. We had enough room for all of us, though I would say it would be best with 3 couples given the bedroom lay out, but the 8th guest slept on the upstairs futon with no complaints! The owners had the house stocked with a few essentials like cooking oil, spices and coffee filters which is good if you plan on cooking! We had a few different people preparing meals at once and didn't feel like we were hovering over each other! The fire place is warm and they have enough bedding and towels to cover everyone. A few people could shower back to back without running out of hot water which was very appreciated in the winter! The driveway fit 3 vehicles as stated without feeling crowded, and the owners have salt outside and shovels as needed to take care of the driveway in snow/ice conditions. They also have access to the laundry room from the outside so you can place items in there without tracking through the house. There's also a couple of nice loops to walk the dog that aren't super crowded with cars which was nice for us! There's a Heavenly lodge just a few minutes drive from the cabin that is not super crowded which made for such easy mornings getting to the mountain. Overall, would absolutely recommend staying here! I also had interaction with both owners who were very nice and responsive to our needs. We will be coming back!! :)

Cozy cabin!
My family was looking for a cabin that would fit six adults, two toddlers, and three dogs for Thanksgiving in Tahoe. With the vacation rental requirements we were in a bind trying to find a place where we could fit three cars and would take three dogs. This cute family cabin fit the bill! Plenty of bed space and the backyard was perfect for the dogs. The dinning table is right behind the couch, which was a bit cozy, but worked. We loved the short walk to Bijou Park - the playground was great for the girls and we played a round of disc golf. Would recommend!

Nice stay and warm home-feeling
Nice cabin, not too close to town but not far at all either. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Around the corner from a very nice park with a pro-like BMX track and alot of other things to do at the park. When we got there we found the cabin kind of dusty (floors & furniture). A nice improvement would be some work in the back-yard. There was plenty of entertainment at the house. Wi-Fi was very good because we did not really have any signal at the house through AT&T(that can be both a positive and a negative). Overall a nice stay and be aware there are bears around there. We had a visitor(bear) the last two nights we were there because the previous tenants had left some left over trash that we did not know about in the side closet by the entrance. The bear got a smell of that and he came to "take out" that trash bag and then he thought he would check again the following night to make sure there was nothing else. It made it for more of a memorable stay. The bear did not atttemp to come into the house even thought we had all the doors and windows open (only protected by screens). It might have been that bears were out there because of fires that were somewhat close to Tahoe when we visited.

Cute chalet; perfect for large family and dog friendly
Although we didn’t bring our dog this time, we definitely will consider staying here again just for the fact that you can. The home eas clean, adorable and the support was timely and friendly. The only reason my score is 4 stars, instead of 5, is due to the back yard not being landscaped. With all the parking restrictions in Tahoe, this home has room for 3 cars in a row in the driveway, as long as they are not all oversized. We brought one large truck, compact SUV and a sedan.
