Nice property. House is stocked with everything you could think of. A small fan for the bedroom, batteries, all untensils & cookware. All appliances are nice & upgraded. House is a little remote so recommend showing up before dark. You may need the wifi. Satellite tv. Plenty of space. Large deck.

The home and location was great. While the home is slightly dated, it was stocked and setup quite nicely. Very functional for what we were needing. The location was great, secluded but not terribly far out.
Our only real concern was as UTV riders, the parking was tight. With out trucks and trailers like we brought, it would be just fine, but was a bit snug for us. The owner and the association was going to allow us to use a different area for parking which was nice. This certainly isn't a dig on the property, but more of a note for fellow riders.

Our group loved this space! While it was smaller than the photos make it seem, it was far more beautiful and in such an incredible location! Roads are steep with sharp turns amongst trees and rocks in the mountains. Deer in the yard each morning and night, a friendly neighbor dog stopped by for a pet and some tug of war now and then, and evenings were spent on the top deck, staring at the stars. It was magnificent!!! We didn’t want to leave 🥰

Beautiful scenery! House was stocked with essential things which was convenient. Was clean upon arrival. Checking in and out was very easy. And letting us park our pontoon by the mailboxes was so helpful! Would stay again!

Pleased with our stay, would recommend you bring your own paper plates, silverware. The beds were not very comfortable, the bed in the basement slopes to the middle. Overall was a good stay. Great location!!!

Awesome home!
My family celebrated “Christmas in July” and the cabin was a perfect place for adults and kids- the loft for the kids was perfect. The bedrooms were comfortable and everything was as it was pictured - the directions to the cabin were perfect- all the nice little extras were appreciated-it was everything and more than we expected.

Great experience, however basement shower had terrible Pressure and no hot water and a couple beds were awful.

Definitely enjoyed our stay of the area, I think you pay more for the location. The cabin is cozy but needs some maintenance care for what is charged. The photos seem as if the cabin is secluded from others, but upon arrival we were a little discouraged to see other rentals or owners so close to hear their conversations. We traveled 19 hours to get away from that. We fixed a few of the kitchen drawers ourselves, they were falling out/off the track. Keurig coffee maker works if you hold down the top to pierce the k-cup. The email from Evolve does not match the check in book left for you upon arrival. We also think the kind size bed is maybe partially broken? It sinks in the middle. Husband had a hard time getting in and out of it.

the Cabin stay was excellent, fit all of us comfortable will never ran out of hot water, we all ate.
out door eating and indoor eating was all comfortable. My daughters would like to know what kind of shampoo was in the upstairs bathroom? They loved it. You had plenty of towels, we washed a load.

Great Location; Wonderful Property
We were extremely pleased with the cleanliness of the property, especially during the current pandemic. Kitchen had updated applicances with many extras. Large deck easily accommodated our familiy of 10. Bedrooms were large and laundry washer/dryer were high end. This is a must see home if searching for a family gathering spot conveinet to Mt Rushmore, Custer to the South or Deadwood and Spearfish to the North. 5 stars is not sufficient.

Great place to stay but a few miles on rough gravel and further out than we thought!
Cabin was filled with games for kids, foosball, brand new appliances, dishes, towels, etc. I brought extra towels thinking it was not enough for 8 of us, but they had plenty. (new washer and dryer which was nice)

Perfect for a family gathering
We rented this place for a 50th anniversary gathering for my in-laws and family. It worked very well with three separate levels, a Foosball tables, games, and lovely outdoor deck with grill. The fridge was brand new and the huge washer and dryer looked brand new too and those worked great. Plenty of bathroom towels. Could have used a few more in the kitchen. There were some minor things like slow drains, broken electric griddle/skillet, the outdoor grill needed a good scrubbing, and the Keurig seemed to have a piece missing so it wouldn't puncture the bottom of the cup to make coffee, but those were fairly easy to work around and hopefully will be fixed soon. It's not a brand new place, but it was definitely comfortable, affordable, and only about 10 minutes to Lake Pactola where we rented a pontoon boat and did some fishing. 30 minutes to Hill City, so you need to buy your groceries before you get there. Overall we had a wonderful time and made great memories!

Lovely cabin in beautiful woods
This was a great family vacation in a lovely cabin. We were in a beautiful and peaceful setting in the woods. The cabin was very well equipped. Only negative comments are that AC is not adequate for main floor bedrooms, and main floor bathroom is very small. Overall, cabin was very nice, loved the openess with lots of windows and beautiful pine forest.

Fun to be with Family
We had a great time with family that came from all directions to join together for an extended weekend. The cabin was a great place to gather. It was a bit far and curvy from the sight seeing in Rapid City, but we managed. Only down fall I have and its only because I'm getting old, were all the stairs. There are a lot of stairs for older senior members of society.

Lovely Secluded Black Hills Cabin
This cabin fit the needs of our group (6 adults, 6 children) very nicely. Though the drive to it was very windy and woodsy, it was beautiful. Our children had a great time exploring, and we adults enjoyed time on the large deck!

The cabin looked exactly as we thought. The drive in was a little different however when you rent a cabin in the Blackhills be prepared for the mountain roads.

great place
The cabin was great, We stayed for four nights, 10 adults and 1 teenager. The first night the AC struggled to keep up, but Rapid City matched their all time record high heat index. so not surprised. The beds were comfortable for all 11 of us. We used the cabin as a base camp to do several of the feature hikes in the central black hills and the location was convenient, yet away from the tourist crowds and traffic. Very quiet neighborhood. Scarcely heard or saw anyone all week, except for a very friendly golden retriever that helped us check in.
The cabin was exceedingly clean and well furnished and surpassed our needs.
Be prepared for a 3 mile gravel drive off HWY 385 then a steep drive up some paved "streets". Definitely will recommend to others. My sister and her extended family are already planning for next year at this site.

Great vacation house!
We were very happy with our vacation rental home. The house was just as described. It was very clean and roomy. We were pleased with how well stocked the kitchen, bathrooms and linens were. We had 3 families, 10 people, staying in the house so were pleased with the 3 floors to spread out in. We were pleased that our GPS took us right to the front door of the house because it was more off the beaten path than what we were expecting. I would suggest picking up ice and other groceries before you get to the cabin. The cabin was fairly centrally located to get to the attractions that we wanted to see. We would stay here again.
