Fantastic location. It’s within walking distance of most of the major attractions in the Fatih district, including Topkapı Palace, Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet, the lively Eminönü neighbourhood, and the ferry port for trips along the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn. The host seems friendly and helpful. There’s also a clothes drying rack on the rooftop, which is a real bonus in warm weather as laundry dries very quickly. The price is excellent too.
To be fair, the flat is quite run-down. The broken mirror and worn soft furnishings make a poor first impression. My initial reaction was to book somewhere else, especially as I was first given the wrong room (although this was resolved within 30 minutes). However, as the days passed, I got used to the place. If the host repaired the mirror and invested a little in refreshing the furnishings to make the apartment feel more welcoming, I would definitely stay here again.

Cosy room, the owner cleaned it often and replaced the towels. There was a kettle and a fridge which were very useful. Location excellent.

Everything was good the manger was so helpful and nice. Just make sure to contact them there’s no reception. 10/10 👍

Very close to restaurants and scenic mosques. In old town.
Not situated on a clean block. The room was extremely small.
