Riko was an excellent host. I ended up meeting her because the entry code wasn't working. She quickly gave me a new code and stopped by to make sure everything was okay. She speaks English well and is very friendly. We ended up talking for a while and she gave me some excellent food and travel recommendations. Make sure to check out Tokyu Store's discounted sushi if you're searching for a cheap meal at night.
The living space is roomy for one person, or two if you sleep in the same bed. It starts to get cramped when you extend the pull-out couch. I ended up staying for a month with a friend. We slept in separate beds, so the pull-out couch was always left in its extended position. This blocks access to the desk and limits walking space in the main area. This was ultimately fine because we didn't spend much time in the room, but was an inconvenience when I would've otherwise wanted to use my laptop at the desk.
The kitchen and bathroom are both small, but were clean. There's enough space to do some cooking and the water got hot quickly.
Wi-Fi is also provided and is fast (>100Mbps). I was able to connect and watch media with no issues. The TV is also usable with free Japanese television. There is an HDMI cord so you can plug in your laptop as well.
The area (Naka-Meguro) is my favorite neighborhood in Tokyo. It has Meguro river running through it, which is especially beautiful in spring when the cherry blossoms are in season. It also has a lot of small restaurants and clothing shops with a fashionable younger crowd.

The location is great and the apartment is a cozy home to return to after exploring. It’s a short walk from the metro and there are ample restaurants and places to walk. We absolutely loved Naka-Meguro.
It’s not a dislike, just a note for anyone with mobility impairments or giant luggage that the apartment is on the 3rd floor and you need to take stairs.

The only good thing about this place is the location. Very close to Meguro - lots of nice shops and coffee shops around.
The place is run down and not enjoyable. You can hear the train loud and clear for a good portion of the night. The only window is frosted making the space look very depressing.
