Beautiful hotel and wonderful staff - would definitely recommend!

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Beautiful accommodations. Conveniently located within walking distance of shopping and restaurants, yet still quiet enough to get a good nights sleep.

It would be nice if breakfast was served before 08:00 and if the pool opened earlier than 11:00.

One of my favourite hotels ever .. will definitely come back .

Everything !! Stunningly beautiful hotel. I just can’t speak highly enough about this hotel and the staff. The rooms are spacious and the staff cannot do enough. Fantastic location close enough to everything but also very quiet. Rooftop pool is amazing.

The pool hours 11-6pm .. not sure why this the case but after a long day out it would have been so good to have a late afternoon swim .

A Spectacular Stay with Some Room for Improvement

I recently had the pleasure of staying at katikies garden in Fira, Santorini, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. From the convenient location to the breathtaking views, there were many positive aspects that made our stay memorable. However, a few minor issues prevented it from being a perfect stay. The location of the hotel in Fira is undoubtedly a major plus. It offers great convenience, allowing easy access to nearby attractions, shops, and restaurants. Exploring the beautiful island was a breeze, thanks to the hotel's central location. Our room, a honeymoon suite with a jet tub, was absolutely amazing. It was spacious, well-appointed, and provided a tranquil atmosphere for relaxation. We particularly enjoyed the private garden area, which offered stunning views and allowed us to unwind in a peaceful environment. One aspect that truly stood out was the fantastic breakfast. The wide variety of options and the quality of the food exceeded our expectations. The hotel's attention to detail and commitment to providing a delightful culinary experience made each morning a delightful start to the day. While the pool offered a picturesque view of the sea, there were some shortcomings that need to be addressed. The limited number of lounges and tables available were clearly insufficient for the size of the hotel. On a couple of occasions, we witnessed guests arriving at the pool but leaving due to the lack of available seating. Increasing the number of lounges and tables would significantly enhance the overall pool experience. Additionally, the restricted time schedule for the pool was a disappointment. Opening at 11 am and closing at 6 pm seemed restrictive, especially considering the longer daylight hours in Greece. It would be wonderful if the hotel could extend the pool hours, allowing guests to enjoy the poolside ambiance and take advantage of the stunning sunset views, as we were able to do in Mykonos.

For people with mobility issues please note that there are huge stairs all over the hotel. From going to the rooms, breakfast, pool and reaching the lobby. I do not recommend to take such a risk. Restricted time of the pool

This hotel was beautiful and centrally located in Fira. The rooms were very spacious, and we were particularly impressed

The pool was amazing, and the rooms were extremely spacious. The staff was very friendly. The food was also exceptional, and we can’t say enough positive things about the sommelier!

The breakfast took way too long. The hotel wants everything to be an experience, and we didn’t often have time to spend 90 minutes eating breakfast. Additionally, when I asked for a towel at the pool, the pool attendant said she would bring it to me, despite the fact that she was rolling one in front of me. I know the service is exceptional, but it sometimes it’s a little too much.

Truly the best and hosts you like a family!

Dear Team, Its been a week since we returned back from your warm and pleasant hosting. I am a frequent traveller across geography and I rarely write any reviews. But Katikies garden on the whole is amazing. So I thought I must write to you and say a Big Thank you! Excellent rooms, amenities, location and most importantly all staff are brilliant! We were there for our 10th wedding anniversary stayed for 3 days, couldn’t have been any better! The detailed follow ups prior to our travel from Katikies garden both experiences team and concierge team was splendid. The Yacht experience, free upgrade, special cake and most of all the care, thanks a ton for making us feel home and great memories we possess. Special thanks to Vasilis from the concierge , Mary and Michelle from Events /Experiences, Yacht team , Damien at the Selene Bar and the Chef at the Selene restaurant! Thanks to all! Overall treated us like family members! Thanks again for having has hold great memories!

A beautiful hotel. Exceptional location and the most amazing breakfast we have ever had at a hotel.

The cost of additional services such as transfers and wine at the lounge in the court yard is extortionate. Would recommend booking a separate airport transfer (we used welcome pickups for €40, the hotel quoted c. €120!!!) and not drinking in the hotel bars. The wine we were recommended at €90 euros was not as described and we were then shocked to see it for sale in Fira for just €16. We flagged this with staff when settling our tab.

Everything about this property was amazing but the breakfast was to die for!

The bus station is further away than stated in the property description and not a good option for getting from and to the port, although they were ideal for getting to Oia and Akrotiri. Recommend one of the shared shuttles or the hotel transfer to get to the ferry or airport.

If you want to feel like royalty, THIS is the palce

Everything. From the staff, to the location--you can't imagine a more perfect place if you want to be close to everything in Fira and what makes Santorini great. I cannot say enough about how wonderful it was.

Incredible attention to detail in the most stunning place

This Hotel is stunning! An ancient monastery renovated in most tasteful possible way. The breakfast was wonderful in a breathtaking courtyard. But above everything, every single staff member really deserves all the praise - these guys know what spot on customer service is all about. Thank you!

Best romantic break away

The hotel, all the staff, the breakfast, the room (Senior Jetted Suite Sea View), the location were all amazing. Def recommend, had such the best romantic few nights away. Thank you all at Katikies

Romantic Getaway

Friendly staff - always willing to help. Great location - hotel was walking distance to everything, but still on a quiet street so it was a relaxing environment. Spacious and clean hotel rooms - house keeping kept everything very clean and orderly.

Great staff, views and location.

We love our welcome and the staff. Everyone was so kind and helpful, we felt right at home. The view from the rooftop pool is amazing and the location is super central.

The furniture and room decorations are quite... I don't know, minimal? I just feel like it can be way more warm and cozy, especially compared to the rest of the hotel. The drain of the bath was clogged, we had a private outside area with some kind of pool, which had a pigeon living in the window above it so there was bird poo everywhere. Value for money is just not that good in my opinion.

Truly an experience in Santorini that the Hotel provided and that we will never forget!

The Breakfast service, menu, presentation, flavours, and enviroment was truly an experience each day, we will never forget the Breakfast service, congratulations to the team that put this menu options together excellent!

Truly from the moment we checked in and we where hosted by the Hotel manager for a tour of the Hotel Facility and provided us with the history of the property, the services, the tour of the grounds I felt like I was hosted by family that I felt like home and so much more the Hotel manager went above and beyond to make us feel so special!!!

Nice holiday but hotel was very overpriced for what it is.

Small room and the hot tub didn’t work. It wasn’t a private balcony and was an added cost for nothing.

Overall bad experience

Nothing in particular, it's in the center of Fira which is both good and bad.

The room i had booked was unavailable. Front office tried to put me in a room twice as small with an underground bathroom while telling me it was an upgrade. I had to argue for way too long to obtain being put in a room smaller than my booked room (downgrade). I was refunded the difference but for me the price of that room was not right and I could have been much happier somewhere else for that price. The bathtub/shower is hell to use. The AC in my room was not powerful enough therefore it was 26 degrees in my room day and night. I was offered a fan. Beware, the AC seems to be a known issue in the entire hotel, as a staff member admitted to me. There are tons of stairs. Stairs everywhere. Rooms are only reachable by 5-6 flights of stairs.
