About this house rental
Nestled in Saint George Island, this attractive house for $446 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. FREE Beach Gear! Guests of this home will enjoy a complimentary beach gear credit toward items such as bicycles, kayaks, beach umbrellas and more! The first level of this lovely home offers a large beachfront Master suite with King bed and private bathroom with jetted tub. Access to a covered deck invites you outside to greet the morning sunrise or to gaze at the millions of twinkling stars in the night sky. A second bedroom with Queen bed also has a private bathroom with shower stall and a laundry closet with stacked washer/dryer is available in the hall for your convenience. Upstairs you will walk into an open living area with Queen sleeper sofa and high ceilings. Here, you can relax into the comfortable furnishings or walk out onto the beachfront covered deck with an additional sundeck to delight in the warmth of the sun. The upper deck has a gate which closes access to the lower decks so you can keep a closer eye on your pet or smaller children. Prepare the catch of the day in the tiled kitchen with breakfast bar or enjoy additional seating at the dining room table for 6. Just past the kitchen is a stairwell to the upstairs loft bedroom with Queen bed overlooking the living area and Gulf view, as well as a street side view to watch the summer hustle and bustle of other families enjoying their time on St. George Island. A bathroom with shower stall is available just off of the living area. As much as you will enjoy spending time inside this beautifully decorated home, the ground level boasts a large, gated beachfront sun and covered deck with enclosed outdoor shower, eating spaces, and access to a park-style charcoal grill and beach boardwalk. The covered outdoor sofa will be your favorite place to nap in between beach visits. Multiple TVs and DVD players available. We allow up to 1 dog under 30lbs with advance permission for an additional fee. Beds: 1 King, 2 Queens, 1 Queen sleeper sofa

We enjoyed our short week at this property . The house was clean and orderly . The view from the decks was amazing . We also enjoyed the dry outdoor shower and lounge area on the bottom deck .

The island is amazing. It's not commercialized, all in walking distance, and not "island prices". There was no short on happy staff and there were relatively no waits at restaurants. The beach is beautiful, clean and not overcrowded. Would 100% recommend a trip to St. George's Island.
The house is dated and could use a facelift, but it did not take away from the trip at all. It is much closer to the beach than the pictures give justice. And you cannot beat the views from the back porches. We had three kids and four adults and the size was great for us.
I would recommend bringing extra towels and laundry detergent as the ability to hang towels (beach or shower) and bathing suits is very limited. The queen beds are very, very small queens, if not even full size/double beds.
The rental credit was great - we got bikes and extra chairs. The kids loved the ability to go anywhere on the island with the bikes.

Upon arrival, someone stopped by to check on how their cleaning crew did. They noticed it was hot, so immediately sent someone over to check. All was good - just needed a few minute to cool off! We also misplaced our golf cart key and on their own, they went to the rental shop and got us a spare! What great service!Location was great. Walking distance to alot of places. The home was very nice; cozy, very comfortable beds, clean, plenty of pantry storage in the kitchen, kitchen was well stocked with cups/plates/utencils. If anything, maybe they needed some paint touch ups and bathroom door in master didnt shut well, but that is so very minor The deck layout was fabulous! Loved having gates on all the deck levels. The shower as you get off the beach was so nice! For the value, we will definitely rent again!

Convenient location. Experienced some unusual weather…..thunderstorms and heavy winds that took out the water substation, staff was informed and kept in communication until the service was turned back on.

We rented for 4 weeks and loved it. The house is very comfy, the bed was comfy and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking. The views are amazing. Rain or shine. The house is in a great location - looks out on the beach and its right at the center of the island. It is in dire need of maintenance and updating. Kitchen cabinets had velcro on them to keep them shut.

Right on the beach, clean, had everything we needed for the week. Rental company extremely helpful and quick turn around for any questions we had. The rental is very near the grocery stores and in walking distance to several businesses such as ice cream stores, beach wear, seafood trucks, and a couple of restaurants. The free Vacay Gear was sweet too for renting a kayak and beach umbrellas.

If you are looking for a laid back beach experience this is your place! Great lay out, well appointed kitchen, comfy beds, and absolutely awesome views. Easy walk to the beach so it makes it great for families with lots of gear or families who have young ones that require a mid day break. LOTS of stairs so if your knees are wobbly take care with this property ... you WILL get your work out! Also - GREAT property managers ... very attentive and thoughtful!

This was our third visit to SGI and we love vacationing on the island. This rental home was average in terms of condition. The back porch / deck was very nice and the furniture was worn, but not bad for a rental home. The kitchen had basic kitchen wear but was not stocked with anything else. Our only complaint was how dirty the bathrooms were. We purchased cleaning supplies and cleaned them ourselves because the mildew was terrible. The place needs a deep clean and it will be fine. But guests should not have to clean bathrooms after a long day of travel.

We loved the central location, being on the beac, and the size of the house. We were a party of six and had plenty of space. The house had everything we needed so no complaints from me. The island has a few haunts that are worth a visit and the proximity to Apalachicola was a bonus. We will definitely visit again.
