About this house rental
Situated in Mission Beach, this lovely house for $399 per night is a great option for your next trip. We finished our remodel June 2020. Check out our reviews. So far so good. It looks like it's almost unanimous (5 Stars)! This is a great location and a good place to barbecue and relax... only 2 properties from the sand. Sleeps 5 comfortably or 6 with 2 couples and 2 small kids.. You'll love the front deck with a little view of sand and water with 6 seater gas Fire-pit dining table and all-weather wicker couch. 2 bedrooms, 1 Cal King bed and one Queen beds, also a Queen sleeper in Sectional sofa (memory foam). 2 bathrooms; 1 full bath and an ensuite bath in the master bedroom. All bedding, linens, and furniture are good quality. It is clean, disinfected, and decorated nicely with very comfortable beds and furniture. We offer a lot, including all the beach necessities; beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, beach umbrella, sand toys for kids, and beach cruiser bikes (sorry no small kids bikes). No need to pack much. Parking for one car in garage. Free parking on the street. The garage will fit a big SUV but not lifted extended bed trucks. The coin-operated laundry facilities are shared in the garage with an upstairs separate 1 bedroom unit. That's the only access they have to the house. They also have their own parking space and back entrance (their space is to the right of the garage). The tenant is very nice and keeps to himself so don't worry about your privacy. You probably won't even see him. We have a card table and 4 folding chairs in case you want to play games at night inside or if you happen to be there when it's raining (hopefully you won't have rain but it happens just not too often). Free WIFI and Direct TV with all the apps you can sign into with our own account. Please only inquire if you are a small respectful group or family. This is not a party house! The homeowners next door will not tolerate loud music or drunken groups on the deck causing disturbances. PET-FREE ZONE due to severe allergies. Including support animals. We had an amazing stay here. The house is in a very good state and in an even better location. Everything is close by yet the area in which the house is located is calm and quiet; which was the perfect combination for us. Everything felt well arranged and thought through. The very few questions that arose during our stay were answered quickly and in a very friendly way.

We enjoyed a few days over thanksgiving at the beach and staying in in this property made it relaxing and easy breezy. We had everything we needed from a clean fully stocked kitchen, bike and water toys, as well as comfortable beds and a cozy couch. We will be back for sure!

The property is perfectly located adjacent to the beach and beach walk (can literally see the ocean when sitting on the porch) and the newly renovated inside was very welcoming after a long day in the sun. Our hosts were incredible, were easily reachable if needed, and provided everything we needed including beach chairs/umbrellas, kitchenware, and local recommendations.
Truly an amazing property that helped us feel at home during our relaxing vacation. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay on Mission Beach.

So close to the beach and such a cute place, I loved having two bathrooms and being able to see the beach from the patio ! The owner was very responsive on everything and so helpful I will definitely recommended this getaway with the family ! We all enjoyed our stay very much !

This quaint beach house really had it all. It accommodated our family of 5 with young kids perfectly.
Just steps from the quiet beautiful beach only a short walk to the busy Belmont area.
Ocean-view from the deck for adults to enjoy when the kids needed rest.
Short drive to all popular areas such as the beach, La Jolla, Sea World, etc.
Susan was available for any questions during our stay, and was always helpful.

This house is good for 2 couples or a family with 1 kid We had 3 kids and we were pretty cramped. The place was very clean however we only had 2 hand towels and 5 bath towels for our entire stay. I’m not sure if that was the norm or if there should have been more but when you have kids and are back and forth to the beach multiple showers are taken and well kids are just dirty even when they are clean so additional hand towels, bath towels and some wash clothes would have been nice.
There also isn’t an actual closet in what I consider the master bedroom, the one with an en suite. Only a few hangers were provided and not being able to really fully unpack was frustrating.
We had been traveling for a couple weeks so laundry duty was in order and I have actually never stayed at a vrbo that did not provide free washer and dryer use. To do a load was $2.75 and after trying a handful of places to try and get quarters we ended up with $5. We were told by the stores that we likely wouldn’t find a place that will sell you a whole roll of quarters so if you intend to do laundry while staying bring a roll with you.

This was the perfect way to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from USD. We had a lovely luncheon on the patio. We used the bikes to get from place to place. Everything was clean and new. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed.

This property is just a few steps to the beach and walking distance to shops and restaurants. The house was perfectly decorated just like the pictures. The bonus was having a big garage to park in which is rare for this location. I would recommend this property.

Everything was lovely. The beds were comfortable. The furniture was comfortable. It was decorated nicely. We had only two concerns, the one shower did not have much water pressure. The other shower was fine. While the home came with a washer and dryer, they were commercial and coin operated. We have stayed in other rentals that used commercial appliances but these owners kept the coin collection box unlocked so we could reuse the coins. Getting quarters were inconvenient.

This was a cozy little getaway with convenient access to Mission Beach. The beach was literally just steps away! Having a covered, secure garage space was a nice perk. Susan was very responsive to a minor issue during check-in and was very helpful w/ finding restaurants and coffee nearby. Great spot.

Great location on mission beach… 1 block to beach. Can see the ocean from the deck. Great coffee place down the street. Easy walking distance to restaurants. The only downside which owners can’t control is the noise above the rental and the early airplanes.

We had the best experience at this property. It honestly was our families best vacation we have ever taken! We will be staying here again because of how nice it was to ride the bikes. We even used the boogey boards and went way out in the ocean and had the time of our life! Thank you 🙏🏻 we will forever be grateful for this home and it will be our new place we stay at! It was clean and stayed warm when we were chilly. We loved the kitchen as we used it almost every night!

This house is so quaint and nicely decorated! Everything was so clean and the beds were comfy….we especially loved the outdoor deck with comfy upholstered furniture and fire table! Also loved being so close to the beach, and able to walk to get coffee in the morning! Would definately rent this house again next time we’re in San Diego!
