About this house rental
Situated in Ocean View, this lovely house for $243 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Relaxing and conveniently located in Bear Trap Golf Community, this home has everything you need for a fabulous getaway. This 3 bedroom home has a master suite located on the first floor. Feel right at home in the fully stocked kitchen with an open concept living room and dining room. Relax, grill, and have dinner on the deck after a long day at the beach. Upstairs offers a bedroom with a queen bed and day bed, a Jack and Jill bathroom, a third bedroom that has another queen bed, and a set of bunk beds. This home is perfectly located directly across the street from the playground and tennis courts and nearby pavilion and pool. Guests are welcome to catch the beach shuttle that picks up near the pavilion. This home is just walking distance to the Bear Trap driving range, pro shop, and 1st tee. Don't forget to catch a happy hour or dinner at "The Den" restaurant, located in Bear Trap Community. Golf can be purchased through the Pro Shop and AMENITY PASSES can be purchased at the pavilion for $55/PER PERSON/PER WEEK. Linens will be at the property prior to check in. Linens include sheets for all beds, and bath towels. Look no further than the amenity-rich community of Bear Trap Dunes. Amenities include 1 outdoor pool, an indoor pool, fitness center, a beach shuttle, 6 tennis courts, saunas, and hot tubs. Bear Trap's restaurant, "The Bear's Den", driving range, and golf pro shop are all within a short walk. **To finalize the reservation, a lease agreement must be signed. The property was nice. In a nice community. The amenities are extra. Internet access is spotty at best. Which was fine for unplugging from life but not great for GPS or to google restaurants. Could have been a little cleaner. Our stay was good. We had a nice relaxing time. Staff was also very nice.

Glad to have the indoor/outdoor pools nearby since the weather was chilly and rainy most of the week. Management company was quickly responsive when I called about our missing linen package and they promptly replaced a beeping smoke detector battery. Screen porch was lovely and the game/puzzle closet was well stocked. We had a great time!

Enjoy all of the property. Just wish we had access to the pool and tennis court. They wanted us to pay $300 for 3 adults and 3 teens for just 1 day of use. That was impossible.

The place we stayed was very nice. Website was confusing! Couldn't find the prices for linens! Didn't know if I was going to receive them or not. Lugged all sheets and towels to find out we did receive linens! Emails very confusing! Here is a list of emails I received: 3/7 Thanking for Reservation, 3/7 Signed Contract, 3/8 Damage Waiver, 6/11 Payment receipt (amount due only), 7/2 Welcome letter stating "property will not come with linens"!!! I never received an email with detailed payment made!

Disappointed with the stay. It was run down and definitely needs some updating especially for the price. Carpets and blankets were gross. Dishwasher broke and water was everywhere on last day stay. Suggest - how about hardwoods since pets are allowed.

The condo under the management of 1st Choice Properties of Bethany Beach, Delaware was full of mice and ants. The management company first ignored our phone calls until we emailed them. They did minimal service to remove the pests. They wanted to spray to kill the ants. I have small grandchildren.
Every morning we had to clean the whole kitchen again. We threw out hundreds of dollars in groceries that were opened up every night by the mice. When we asked to compensate us for all the troubles, they offered us $225 which I refused
Do not deal with this company. They will only grab your money. Now withholding my security deposit because I threatened legal action and bad reviews because they did not take cate of the mice and any issues.

Great Place for a Family
Great location in Bear Trap Dunes. Property was across the street from the pool and tennis courts which i liked. I also like that there were a lot of places to walk in the neighborhood. It was a 10 minute drive to the Fennwick State Park beach and about a 5 minute drive to downtown Bethany.

2 Week Stay
Really enjoyed staying at 16 October Glory for 2 weeks. The property was clean and comfortable, and is right across the street from the pool and tennis courts in Bear Trap. The only issues were that the property management company did not email check in instructions prior to our stay. In addition on the weekdays, there is loud noise daily at 7:30 am related to tennis balls being picked up with a machine by staff across the street. Overall, was a great stay.

Wonderful vacation
The property and the development exceeded all expectations. This was our first experience with the Bethany Beach, area, and we cannot wait to return! The house was lovely, comfortable and well equipped. The development was fantastic, pools were clean and not crowded, and all of the amenities were maintained in very good condition. In a nutshell, everyone in our group had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this home, and this development.
