Located in Walloon Lake, this attractive house for $305 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. This first time rental is perfect for your Northern Michigan getaway! This home is conveniently located in Walloon Village and is within walking distance to beautiful Walloon Lake. The public beach is just down the road; there are plenty of boat rentals nearby to rent a boat for the day and enjoy the water! It is only 30 minutes from Boyne Mountain ski resort and right down the road from Northern Michigan's renowned snowmobile trails! This cottage is a three bedroom, two bath home and is fully equipped with new furniture. The two downstairs bedrooms have a king and queen sized bed, while the upstairs loft includes two twins. The sofa in the living room is a pull-out queen sized bed. Wi-fi is included along with a Roku. Whether you are planning an amazing summer getaway, snowmobile trip or hitting the ski slopes, this home has everything you are looking for. You are only 15 minutes from beautiful downtown Petoskey or Boyne City; this home is centrally located.

Comfortable & clean home on a quiet street with all the amenities. Took off a star because there was no furniture on the back deck, which would have been nice for morning coffee or a meal. The furniture on the front deck was uncomfortable/outdated patio furniture from the 1960’s. A nice add would be a fire pit/solo stove and a gas grill, charcoal grill was provided.
Would stay again if the Cottage was available.

I grew up going to my parents cabin near the village of Walloon and could not believe how beautiful the downtown looks. The lake is as spectacular as I remembered. The cottage was in a perfect location, a ten minute stroll got you to town for lunch at the barrel back, an ice cream or groceries at the general store. The cabin was very nice and had all the essentials. The only issues we had was the bathtub was constantly dripping, the garbage disposal didn’t work and the electric outlet by the coffee pot only worked off and on. Nothing that we couldn’t adapt to just thought the management company would want to know to address.

Pointed out many problems after our arrival on Friday, finally heard back from property manager on Monday. House was not clean, we had to clean our refrigerator from prior guests, empty the dishwasher, tub in guest bath was filthy due to a constant leak that they were aware of. Floors were sticky, windows filmy, just not a good experience. We did get to meet the neighbors because the can opener was broken, had to clean the coffee pot and the coffee grinder. It is in a good location, Walloon is a nice small village to stay in.

The home was spotlessly clean, very nicely and comfortably furnished, and the kitchen was well appointed with dishes and cooking necessities.
We thoroughly enjoyed our week stay, and we definitely would book this property again!

This is a lovely home, completely modernized and so very well maintained. The beds were very comfortable, as was all the furniture in the main living areas. The kitchen is well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The baths were nice, particularly the master bath, with its own dressing area. Huge closets make it easy to unpack and feel at home right away. Our little granddaughter and her daddy slept in the loft of the A-frame, and she loved her nest up there! Highly recommended!

August Walloon Lake Getaway
The house was very clean upon arrival. I love the A frame cottage style. The bed In the master bedroom was comfortable. We really enjoyed the location of the property. It was just a short walk or bike ride to the village. The only slight concern we had was with communication. On the day of our arrival, I asked about extending our check out time to 11:00 and did not receive a response back. Other than that, the property was well kept and we would recommend it to others.

walloon Lake rental:
We found this rental to be great. The house was equipped with a full kitchen that had everything you need to cook a meal. We found the bedrooms to be comfortable too. It was a good location since you're close to Petoskey. However, limited things to do on Walloon Lake unless you have your own boat. Two restaurants within a 15 min walk as well as small store. The rental company made the process of checking in and out a breeze.

A very clean home! Well stocked and accommodating. Also a good location to be tucked away in a quieter, intimate setting, and still within walking distance to the general store and restaurants. We have two young children and they, too, enjoyed their time. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Everything's better at the lake!
The house was great and everything was either as expected or exceeded our expectations! We loved the house and the property. It was nicely appointed with comfortable beds and bedding, a nice living room, and a large kitchen with all kinds of cookware and utensils and appliances. We loved that all 8 of us could sit around the dining table for meals. We loved the location- Walloon Lake is huge and gorgeously crystal clear! The village was only a ten minute walk along the lake to go get premium ice cream cones. The little beach there was perfect for the kids to play in the water. We got curbside pickup from the Barrell Back restaurant and were really pleased with our meal there. Our only regret is that we only stayed for a long weekend and not a whole week.

Excellent Stay on Walloon Lake
Enjoyed the cabin, the area, and the lake. All are well-maintained. The only tiny issue we had was with paper products - had to call for more trash bags and only one extra roll of toilet paper but both bathrooms ran out. Very minor detail but could be easily rectified by communication with cleaning business, perhaps? Otherwise, loved it and will stay again!

Excellent location. There was plenty of room and the home was immaculate. I’d recommend this property to anyone staying around Walloon lake. Also a short drive to Petoskey and Boyne.

This house was clean and comfortable. It was located a few minutes from the lake with a 10 minute walk to the shops and restaurants in The Village. We would definitely stayed here again!

Great location with lots of space.
We had six adults staying here for the weekend for a wedding at the Walloon Lake Inn and it was more than enough space. It's about a 10 minute drive from Boyne City which was also super nice and only about a 10 minute, easy walk from downtown Walloon (very convenient). The cleaning fee was a little expensive, especially since we were only there for the weekend, but I can see it being reasonable for a longer stay with more people and kids. The front patio was also adorable, I wish we would've had more time to enjoy it!

Great home base to explore from
Our family of 4 had a great time in the area and this home was a nice place to rent our heads at night. Close to Walloon Village and tucked in a quiet area. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the "bedroom" with the 2 twin beds is a loft space that is open to the living space but our kids were so tired from playing all day that they fell asleep fairly quickly!
